so the contour beats the others on everything but refinement,an audi isn't the most reliable car on earth,a contour is very solid car with a v6 spd anyways,lol,i'd rather pay less for something that'll last longer and was the best.

Nice blast from the past. I had one of the very first SVT's - built in June 1997 as a 1998 model. Drove it pretty hard for almost 300,000 miles, but it still was very reliable and cheap to maintain. In spite of being "unrefined", the interior also held up as well as any car I've ever seen with that much mileage. Great car, and quite the sleeper. Thaks for posting this!
