Stupid. I bet people like u never do the "real thing". That kind of behaviour to live for one thing like flying is not sad or "poor" it makes the perfect attitude to be one day a real pilot.
People who never in life care about fyling and than complain when they didnt accomplish pilot assessment center are completly idiots.
@bryanpb983 Well, i good joystick is a start. Then you should get a good flight simulator. FSX, FS2004 or perhaps X-Plane. That's enough to get you going. :)
Jeez, let the guy enjoy his stuff. I'd rather be at his house having a few beers and all this eye candy than at yours with just a mouse and basic yoke. More peanuts Stewardess, please!
@DeathMetalShredd666 Well.. I didn't claim it was like flying real aircraft either. I've flown SE-Props and yes, i know there are different handling characteristics between reality and Flight Simulator.
@Pockefy Yeah.. I'm a real-world pilot as well, but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy flight simulations. I do a lot of training in simulators for IFR work. Sweet setup!
@DeathMetalShredd666 Actually my dad flys for AA and flying payware heavy aircraft (like the 767) he said is pretty much the same in FSX as in real life! He's a Captain by the way..
That's a nice system, cheers! How about the Project Magenta software, which one you bought? How expensive is that? They don't have prices on their website... and that scares me! =:-o
Two of the monitor are connected to the main computer, no extra software required. The two smaller monitors uses the X60 laptop with Project Magenta and WideFS software.
@Pockefy I dont understand why people come to look at people video to hate, they cannot understand that some people are fan of this game enoguh to spend for equipment in order to get a more realistic simulation
Nice. Have you heard of anyone using two Saitek Yokes. I have written them, with no responce. Also wondering about usb power drawl, if using all of there panels also.
If you turn on autorudder in the realism settings you may use the 4 and 6 key on the numpad (num lock has to be off) to taxi while on the ground. I strongly recommend using rudder pedals however. Far more realistic. :)
The throttle that's included with the Yoke plugs in to the back of the Yoke with a special connentor. The other quadrant uses standard USB connector that plugs directly into your PC. Otherwise, they are identical.
it's nice equipment but i don't see the sence in spending that much money on fsx equipment why don't you spend on a real licence and go out flying in real life?
I need help setting up my network for Project Magenta...can you email please? eunoslaverdure@live.com-- thanks

you're right. I'm so jealous that I can't sit in my room alone and pretend to fly planes at 30,000 feet going in a straight line.
I'm so depressed after your comments. It hurts.

Throttles and joystick are really necessary for the sim. Rudder pedals nice too if you can afford them.
If you want to add voice control to the sim, consider something called "Multi Crew Experience" (a free demo is available anyway).
You'll just need a microphone

What's that panel/steer thing and the throttle thing called? O_o
ElmoMulder 2 years ago
It's the Saitek Pro Flight Yoke, Pro Flight Switch Panel and Pro Flight Throttle Quadrant.
Pockefy 2 years ago
What´s the difference between the included throttle base and the seperated Pro flight throttle quadrant?
ElmoMulder 2 years ago
The throttle that's included with the Yoke plugs in to the back of the Yoke with a special connentor. The other quadrant uses standard USB connector that plugs directly into your PC. Otherwise, they are identical.
Pockefy 2 years ago
One more question, are they easy to plug-in and plug-out? Since I don't always want to have those huge things in front of me @ the PC =P?
ElmoMulder 2 years ago
Absolutely, very ease to mount and un-mount at the table. No power adapters needed it all uses standard USB-connector.
