I think the first eps of naruto (not shippuden) went on disney, but they cut out all the "inappropriate parts" like when naruto fell underneath a genjutsu, so akamaru pissed on his face.... they cut that bit out, then they stopped showing naruto all together for some reason.. (proberly coz they cut out all the good bits, so everyone started watching it on the internet). Yeah, u made u point clear.

@ichypizza This Parody is spot on. This is exactly what happens in the average episode of DragonballZ. Nothing but screaming, posing, Charging an attack, 0:53 attack failing. And it's not like there trying to get kids to hate anime. I mean they air episodes of Naruto after all, so of course they want kids to watch it.

At least they didn't stand around explaining events that just took place, or go into a flash back. Kind of wish they did though, that would have been funny.

It doesn't suprise me that there are very few family moments, I haven't seen the show in years, so I can't very well least times in which he was there. since he was off saving the world most of the time, or trying to come back to life...but like I said, my memory is rather fuzzy. my point stands tho, altho it is a action anime, there is more then just fighting in the show. that is really my entire point.
@fancynancypigs1 That's my point. It's a shounen anime parody so there copying the things shounen anime do. I literally just got done watching an episode of Dbz where Trunks fought Cell. He powered up for about the first 5 minutes of the episode, had a stare down with cell for another 5, fought for 5 more minutes, than he power'd up again for the remainder of the episode.You'd be surprised by how little actually happens in an episode of Dbz.

I remember that episode, I remember thinking it took forever for cell and and trunks to not only power up...but thier stare-downs take forever! xD but then... it's a classic Shounen...maybe that was normal back then? I think DBZ was a 80's anime...but I'm not 100% sure..
@fancynancypigs1 Back in the day, they handled the concept of fillers differently. Instead of having 30 episode filler arcs like Naruto or Bleach, Dbz would fill out episodes, with stare downs, power-ups, flashbacks, and cut scenes featuring minor characters doing minor things. Dbz Kai on the other hand removes all that. Original Dbz took 200 episodes to get to the end of the Cell Saga. Kai only needed 100, cause they removed all the filler.

I know some people would say 'it's just a parody get over' or be offended but If you see them crying at the near end It goes to show you how harsh can they go at the level. @ichypizza This Parody is spot on. This is exactly what happens in the average episode of DragonballZ. Nothing but screaming, posing, Charging an attack, 0:53 attack failing. And it's not like there trying to get kids to hate anime. I mean they air episodes of Naruto after all, so of course they want kids to watch it.

@piro632 you got to be kidding me.. that is not at all what DBZ is about.. they do more then pose and yell..in fact, I rarely see them pose, they just plant there feet on the ground really hard. I guess to little kids they might mistake it for a "prose" but it isn't. the acting is horrible, they should fire all of those so called "actors" it is a shame to what Disney USED to be, they no longer put effort in anything they do anymore.

@fancynancypigs1 It's not all that happens but it's a Majority of what does. posing/powering up, followed by a series of grunts, and than using an attack that never actually works. At least they didn't stand around explaining events that just took place, or go into a flash back. Kind of wish they did though, that would have been funny.

The only time Goku ever hung out with Gohan was when they went fishing before they fought Cell. Do you know how long it took Goku to take his son fishing after promising him he would? 6 years....And at the end of the series he willing left his family for 5 years to train uub so they could fight each other.

It doesn't suprise me that there are very few family moments, I haven't seen the show in years, so I can't very well least times in which he was there. since he was off saving the world most of the time, or trying to come back to life...but like I said, my memory is rather fuzzy. my point stands tho, altho it is a action anime, there is more then just fighting in the show. that is really my entire point.

@fancynancypigs1 That's my point. It's a shounen anime parody so there copying the things shounen anime do. I literally just got done watching an episode of Dbz where Trunks fought Cell. He powered up for about the first 5 minutes of the episode, had a stare down with cell for another 5, fought for 5 more minutes, than he power'd up again for the remainder of the episode.You'd be surprised by how little actually happens in an episode of Dbz.

I remember that episode, I remember thinking it took forever for cell and and trunks to not only power up...but thier stare-downs take forever! xD but then... it's a classic Shounen...maybe that was normal back then? I think DBZ was a 80's anime...but I'm not 100% sure..

@fancynancypigs1 Back in the day, they handled the concept of fillers differently. Instead of having 30 episode filler arcs like Naruto or Bleach, Dbz would fill out episodes, with stare downs, power-ups, flashbacks, and cut scenes featuring minor characters doing minor things. Dbz Kai on the other hand removes all that. Original Dbz took 200 episodes to get to the end of the Cell Saga. Kai only needed 100, cause they removed all the filler.
