  • @thegame11682 You know nothing about spelling.

  • @MrMattgreider what did he spell wrong?

  • @SpiderMonkey11100 Well he didn't spell the word no wrong. I should have said he doesn't know how to use words properly. He should have put, "know."

  • exactly.

  • this is amazing

  • i was driving to my grandamas once when a tornado warning came on the radio. We had just left and the tornado was right around where we lived. When we drove into the storm, this hugs massicve stormcloud wall was pithc black. we drove in that same storm for 4 hours!

  • This storm must have been riding right on the dry line because it is obviously an LP supercell. Not much of a precip core but the hail could still get huge, though not abundant, and the tornado will never get rain wrapped enough to fall out of visibility.

  • This storm was actually a good distance ahead of the dryline. The dryline was west of Alva Ok, and this tornado moved SE and was east of Lamont OK, just a few miles from I-35. I filmed this tornado also, but my location was on highway 60, west of I-35. Unfortunetly the rain did obstruct my visiblilty, and it obstucted Rogers also. This video is actually missing about 6 minutes of the tornado's duration. It actually kicks up a really good debris cloud. Look up Kay County OK tornado to see it.

  • @torn80s

What? I think u'r talking about diffrent event. This tornado was filmed on August 24th, 2006 - South Dakota Tornado Outbreak. Just go to stormchase (.)net and check chase account under at this date. You will see pictures of this tornado exactly the same as in video.

  • that wallcloud is amazing

  • hey you know what..the form of the clouds looks like a dragon or a fox!!!

  • Nevermind on the question I just had about it being the Lamont Oklahoma tornado, I just went to your website and found out we both got the same tornado. I stationed up in Deer Creek and was on a different storm, but I saw the storm you saw and I took off after that one. So glad I did because that was a good tornado we got. You were in the spot I wanted to get to, but I felt like it would die on me if I didn't get out of my truck and start the camera rolling. Good job, your photography is awesome

  • By any chance, was this tornado filmed on May 13, 2009 by Lamont Oklahoma? I Noticed the info by the video said it was added 2 months ago. It looks like we could have the same tornado, as I spoke of in my previous comment. I was on Hwy 60, actually a dirt road that was connected to 60, when I filmed the tornado. I entered 60 from I-35 off exit 214 and headed right toward it. I saw the wall cloud lowering rapidly. I wanted to get close, but I was sure it would die, so I filmed from the dirt road

  • This video reminds me of the tornado I filmed this year. Amazing how similar the coloration, the striations in the clouds, and the tornado itself are compared to the one I saw. I can tell this tornado was a slow mover too. It's was a very good one to timelapse, shows the subtle and slow changes very well. Very good job on the set up position, that was perfect. 5 stars

  • That thing is terrifying

  • fucking tornado

  • ive learned a bunch of new stuff about tornados becaue of you your the best

  • Fuckin' AWESOME!!!

  • what the fuck?:-o

    it's biiiiig veryyy biiiiiiiiiig

    huge tornado:>

  • that's a vortex.

  • um hi

i wanna ask a question-this might sound like a stupid question

um does the tornado just suck things?

  • hahahahhaa

  • sort of... most of the damage is just from circular winds at a velocity of up to 300 mph, it just so happens that the winds are circulating in sort of a screw-like upward direction

  • it's a strong sucker!

  • No, most of the damage comes from the spinning of the winds.

  • Actually it really depends it could be debrief as well but yeah a F5 tornado is going to do both damage with the high winds but also with all the debrief it sucks up

  • Yes, but I meant the spinning winds as opposed to it just sucking things up (someone else's comment)

  • started from one of Chuck Norris's roundhouse kicks...

    : )

  • looks like something out of a horror movie... really amazing

  • imagine that in your back yard!

  • ive had a f4 rip though our backyard lucky half our house is under ground

  • magnificent!

  • Nietzsche was an optimist LOL! Out of chaos comes order. Ergo organized chaos. On the outside Chaos but through study we find order. Its all about the Benjamins isn't it? I will take two LOL!

  • A study in organized chaos. Nice vid!

  • Shhhhhhhh!!!! Don't tell anybody!! It's supposed to be a secret that order only comes from chaos and not the reverse. You will be docked on schilling for this breach of procedure.. Wait who uses schillings?? Gimme a dolla!

  • there is beauty in everything

  • nice video it wouldn look the same nice if you were in the center of the storm :)

  • Amazing.

  • Mayhem and destruction can sometimes be so beautiful.
