@TheTramsen Campfire Headphase is very warm sounding, but IMO even the "darker" boc goes well with tripping. It won't make you depressed, it didn't to me. I've tripped to all of their albums. Music has the right to children is the best. Though I wouldn't call it uplifting, it's uplifting in a way though, boc gets you higher.

after being a big fan of Slipknot and Korn, i realized Boc was the only music i needed to live.

first five min are long but necessary to prepare your mind for the end, which is incredible. ( sorry for bad english)

I came from a similar musical background to you until a mate introduced me to Boards of Canada. I wish I could just live on this music but there are only a few albums by them (so far) so I can't. The great thing is that they are a great introduction into electronica and I've found a love of other amazing bands through liking their music.

This song has quite an impact on me. The first 5 minutes resemble a dark and gloomy future with no light at the end of the tunnel. But something is coming, building, towards a brighter future and a place where everyone can live in harmony. When this comes, everyone can rest again as the revolution has come and there is peace in everyones hearts. However, even though there is joy everywhere, something mysterious still reigns the air. No one can put their finger on it.
