@ninjaaaaasplat Well, you could, no one's gonna crush your artistic freedom, but he's just showing you a very basic songwriting format. Just putting it out there... you gotta think of your memory as well. If you were a performer, an had a say, idk, a 5 song set, and there was no repetition in the lyrics, it would be kind of hard to memorize all the lyrics. Especially if you also were going to play an instrument as well. But you can write how you want, it's ok :)

Second A) Same thing, but with a different bodypart

B) He is singing about how injustice has been served by not letting Brentalfloss be a partner.

A Prime) Same as the first A, but changed enough to be different. Adding some aspects from B (The injustice that has been done) And finishing the song.

I just have to partially disagree with the first thing you said about poems: especially in the ancient Greek ones musicality while reading them was paramount. If you could read them in their original language you'd see that they're written to follow an exact rythm. This "feature", however, has been mostly lost in modern and contemporary poetry.
