Thank You for sending this to me from wherever you are. I know you're out there somewhere. In the eyes of a child I WILL see. I do see through our child's eyes. This just started playing in a new window and you have been gone since 1999. I think you are reaching out. I hope so.
This is a very good album. Nearly every song is good. Some of them are superb. Remember another Brum band ELO which did a one of the best pop- albums ever, A New World Record.
Thank you, 8VIRELENDA8, so much for making this great music (great group; great quality of audio, too) available to everyone. This is exactly the kind of thing that makes YouTube a valuable resource.
"If you think it's a joke, well that's alright, do what you want to do. I've said my piece, and I'll leave it all up to you." Mike Pinder, that your beauty and brilliance and that of Justin Hayward could co-exist in the same space for so many years is something for which I will be forever grateful.
@auspete Woah! No lie - of all 39:49 of this album - I started reading your comment JUST as this verse was playing - what are the odds? One of many great albums from this great band!
thank you for putting all these wonderful MB albums on in their entirety....I have done nothing but listen to all these old albums the last 3 days! wow, I'm 17 again....I have these albums but this is so much easier than digging them out & putting them on the turntable....bless you!
Thanks for uploading yet another wonderful album by the prog rock masters!! Amazing...The song 'Out and In' is so friggin beautiful I can sit back with my headphones and listen to it for hours.
Was gonna ask "Hey, where's 'Days of Future Passed", then I saw that you did upload it, but it's blocked on copyright grounds---still thanks for uploading alll this other great Moody Blues stuff I'll enjoy it while I can!
my new albums are all CDs.......vinyl ??? no I will not go back, I have some albums in my closet....I do have The Beatles White Album....played twice....I will look in there later, they have been asleep for a long time......would have to buy turntable and cartridge....remember Shure???
@Beelzebubbbbles If you can't hear all of this through the "ears" of a child and must question something as glorious as "butterfly sneezes" without just accepting what you hear or so much as considering the time period, then sadly (very sadly, for you) the magnificence of the rest of this LP will probably be lost on you.
I graduated high school in'69.....had this album on vinyl twice, wore out the first one, lost the second.......recently went Amazon and got In Search of Lost Chord, To our Childrens Childrens Children, A Question of Balance, On the threshold of A Dream, and Seventh Sojourn..I already have several DVDs...just got "Live At The Greek"
The Moody Blues do not need to be put in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! They are too good for that. The fact that they, Yes, Rush, and other similar bands have made such timeless music means to me that they transcended and went beyond something as limited as the "Rock & Roll Hall of Fame" before it was even created! This is music for all people for all the times to come that include people.
Indeed! I grew up with these guys and they prepared Me for what is to come along with YES..... Masters of communication like Jon Anderson is Mike Pinder....
I had most of these on vinal in the 60s and 70s along with YES and Pink floyd
The Most Unbelievable Moody Blues Album and Vocals I remember listening to in High School.....OH, I was so Hooked on them and Pink Floyd. Both Bands I always felt were a part of me and still are. The Moody Blues NEED to be inducted into The Music Hall of Fame, HELLO???????????????
Watching and Waiting for someone to understand me, I HOPE it won be very long.

I especially like Out and In and Candle of Life. Gipsy is also good, it reminds me King Crimson classic Epitaph.

Saw them this past summer. Audience sing along, as usual. TG for the MBs; I'd have lost my mind "working for the man" without their input back then.

The Beastie Boys got into the Rock N Roll Hall of FAME...
make sure the Moody Blues stay away from that place.......its a demeaning place.

This song was written to commemorate the lunar landing - tranquility base was the landing site of course.

"Blasting, billowing, bursting forth
With the power of ten billion butterfly sneezes"
Possibly the daftest thing Graeme Edge ever wrote.

The Hall of Fame is a joke. The Moody Blues have influenced so many groups, Oasis, ELO and dozens of others. I don't get it.
