I think it's interesting (good!) how Elfman scored the scene very musically, the actual movie has the music only as another layer of noise in it. Blah!

Elfmans music is way better. The score Young wrote for the 3rd movie is boring. Danny Elfmans music is great. I like the Batman-Theme and the score for Planet of the Apes ... he's a great composer.

i like this music alot, and i hate that they rehashed the old music, but it feels like the original did less of a job emphasizing "ock is evil, hope spidey beats him" becuase the reason ock works in this film is because hes not just a villain-he is a good man that is mentally corrupted

I LOVE how heroic the music gets when Spidey makes his comeback swing. Why that cue was replaced is completely beyond me. I hope an explanation emerges someday, and it had better be a good one!

I agree, the comeback swing notes are some of the best I've heard for a heroic portion of any movie! It was crazy to get rid of it!
