  • @BetMMA Oh yeah, I downloaded this one for my son to watch the next day - and saved him the 2 hours my life I lost by deleting it - the main card was an undercard - end of!

BTW why do Fox ( or other U S channels use that unbearable theme music when going to and from adverts? Us in Britain and Europe do not get that at all.It sounds so 80's and old fashioned and definitely un-american..why does U S tv insist on this when they show ALL sports?

  • i disagree with BetMMA guy about the whole Fox Card being boring. I thought the Bisbing/Sonnen and Evan/Davis fights were exciting. The first fight on main card was a disgrace with both fighters gassing out. Im glad that we didn't have any fights ending in 1st round which is always dissapointing when that happens.

  • BISPING HAS KNOCKOUT POWER!!

  • you can actually blow out someone's knee with a calf slicer.

  • We should all spamm Dana's inbox asking, well telling him we want ufc fighters in ea mma2, Or there wont be an ea mma 2...Dana can allow this, though its sad that this sport is pretty much in his hands

  • i thought wec would destroy ufc... untill i saw how frankies style came into play

  • my argument is that ufc is the only sport where individuals are allowed to excell

  • bullets why would you pick against cub swanson? hes got a win against semerzier and that guys elite

  • Goofy oops

  • There's no way you can give bisping round 1 that's just goof, t was boring as shit but can't give bisping round1

  • I agree that was a really boring event. And also like what said. "it isn't about the organisation it's the fighters" good call. Ufc had this way of brain washing people in thinking Strikeforce was all full of rejects. Overeem, Henderson, Nick Diaz!

  • I remember watching UFC 139 at Buffalo Wild Wings and seeing a bunch of college football fans get into Wanderlei Silva vs Cung Le. That night, I knew they got themselves some fans, yet Dana White insisted after the event that the fights on that night's card would've scared people away if it were on Fox. Dana can do no wrong in his own mind.

  • Maybe it was a case of people not being available and timing issues for organising the fights.

  • The first time we saw the calf-slicer in the UFC was Rafael Dos Anjos vs. Tyson Griffin. Dos Anjos had Griffin in all types of trouble with that sub, but griffin toughed it out. Griffin's footing was all jacked up for a few minutes, but he was able to recover. Dos Anjos became one of my favorite lighweights after seeing that.

  • what about chris camozzi

  • Well if yall remember that was how Sonnen always used to look before he got on roids. Then suddenly he got twice as strong as everyone, ragdolling the topo guys of his division like its nothing. The non roided Sonnen will be no match for Anderson, the roided version poses big problems...

  • I really dig your vids cheers from Nicaragua

  • there's no way sonnen won that, wtf are you talking about dude!??!

if the judges were actually knowledgable in mma, bisping would have won, 2 rounds to 1

  • @mmafyasco definitely not... If you were knowledgeable in MMA... you would know that sonnen definitely won lol

  • @felixdamajiccat

dude everyone including sonnen thought bisping should've gotten the decision, bisping was blasting sonnen on his feet, he did get taken down but was never in any real danger because sonnen couldnt keep bisping down,i know that counts for octogan control, but bisping had that too when he controlled bisping on the cage,& actually hurt him on the feet unlike sonnen, all sonnen could do is take bisping down for a few seconds before bisping rocked sonnen & controled him on the cage

  • @mmafyasco whateves, I thought chael won. I was very surprised at how much of a fight bisping put up though. The chael that fought bisping has no chance against anderson IMO. Seemed like a whole different chael, not nearly as dominant. I dunno if thats a testament to bispings tdd and ability to get back up, or because chael is off the PED's.. We'll have to see

  • @felixdamajiccat

i think silva was telling the truth whn he said he fought chael with a rib injury, because of bisping can almost KO chael on the feet, & good enough to keep chael off of him, then silva should've gotten a fast KO, obviously he was definitely injured

  • no love for pride mode?

  • Exactly! You hit it right on the head, some fans of the UFC are just morons and need to be educated of the sport. The MMA community needs to step it up.

  • @dmoney5157 lol, you need to realize its not JUST the MMA community. The majority of the human population is retarded. Humans in general need to step it up

  • Rashad gassed at no point in that fight Phil Davis was gassed mid first round

  • i thought sonnen vs bisping was an okay fight, it showed that bisping can hang with an elite fighter, plus i just finished watched the evans vs davis fight again and i must say although it wasnt the best performance by rashad, he did dominate the entire fight, it seemed to me though that rashad gassed in or after the first round, he seemed really tired in this fight.

  • You forget that theres a Jan 31 eh? haha, nice review

  • Sonnen's first fight with Silva was influenced by an excessive amount of juice....it's clearly obvious!

  • @ chrisser555

    Definitely chill. It's all good.

  • Man, you've been a George Roop hater since his tuf days.

  • Bloodlane? I don't quite follow, what's that

  • Great video man, I only follow two people on YouTube for Mma, that includes you and surfer ken. You guys know what's up and are solid mma specialists. I agree chael won that fight by a very close split decision, even thoughhe did not do much damage with his take downs, he nonetheless took bisping down. So he won fair and square. If he rematches Anderson though at this point I see Silva beating Chael and finishing him with strikes. I can't wait for the rematch.

  • @vanlee21 what about bloodlane lol

  • Chris Weidman is future champ imo. Give him Palhares, let him fail at leg locking him, then the winner of Silva vs Sonnen. I'm not saying he will beat Anderson, but he is definitely much better then Sonnen. Basically a younger, stronger Sonnen with good jiu jitsu and submission defence. I said it before this fight, Chael is overhyped and his only relevant win is over Okami (and now Bisping).. Anderson is gonna smash him in the rematch then who will be left? Likely weidman.

  • @BetMMA i dunno man, chill

  • Where is the hate on Sonnen? Not kicking someone who is already lying on the ground I guess? Sonnen looked old, slow and weak. He also looked like a fool giving a rushed, forced and rehearsed speach after a horrible performance. In his recent fights he has been throwing guys around and now he's getting outmuscled in 1st round? Wtf was that

If he didn't have the worst weight-cut of his life(which I doubt) or was fighting cancer... How is he gonna deal with anderson if he barely can beat Bisping?

  • UFC trying to keep the fights non-bloody and non-violent on FOX. Its bullshit.

  • Hey what are your thoughts on the UFC undisputed 3 demo?

  • @UpTehCooch

Wack. Just like the first two.

  • @BetMMA wack? are u kidding? anyways good vid

  • @BetMMA

I'd recommend trying the game on "simulation" settings, particularly in the PRIDE mode. Not only is the stamina much more accurate, but there are some real back-and-forth wars, with multiple instances of both guys getting rocked and more of a methodical style. I dug that quite a bit. I can see how the normal gameplay might not work for ya, though.

  • Preach about the myth those outside UFC (still #1) can't compete. But people will be stubborn. Former Bellator guys getting opportunities in UFC and SF have been solid, but it's a young promo for there to be much crossover and it's mostly "rejects" so you don't see 1:1 comparisons. BFC gets many of the top prospects. People still perceive them as prospects in BFC because they don't see them personally and not many others do either to generate hype. Fighters make the sport, not promotions.

  • Respect and props your way on your pick history, but in fairness, betting moneylines (not spreads) which is what we do in MMA, it's a little misleading to only talk about percentage wins. For example your dimaond picks listed on your site is 33 right and 8 wrong for a 80.5% win rate. Great win rate. If I am betting NFL money lines versus spreads, the win percentage for a bettor is irrelevant and units won is. (to be continued)

  • (continued) Using closing 5Dimes lines, having 24 more right than wrong worked out to be +8.7 units which is what the better is only concerned about. Homnick for example at -560 wipes up almost 6 winning bets.

  • @Hicksz350 hmm I never thought about it that way.... You do have a good point, but he also suggests many parlays and stuff so your numbers are wrong. But I get what you're saying

  • Good vid as usual, whats up with the t-shirt thing?

  • @BetMMA how would you give chael the first round ? 2 takedowns that lasted for about 15 seconds in total ( inflicting zero damage each ). Bisping held Chael up against the fence for most of the round and got a few hard shots in, including one that Chael said in an interview hurt him really bad ( He said he didn't know where he was ).

  • You are getting huge....you do know about the 265 limit...right

  • @j25ack

    lol

Thanks for the concern. I am nowhere near the 265 mark. lolol

  • @BetMMA There is something about the camera angle in this video you definitely look big.

  • not every fight is gonna be like shogun vs hendo. Plus I don't think they had better fight for that FOX show.

  • i'm far from being a silva fan,but after what I saw, I think silva would make quick work of sonnen. Easy win for silva, if sonnen fight the way he fought bisping.

  • In all fairness ppl do wear NFL gear in the US

  • @valor992 I've seen team jerseys but never just an NFL jersey.

  • @filthyfun As I stated NFL "gear" hats jackets ect. with the NFL logo and no team affiliation. Im from Texas where football makes up 90% of the populations sports mindest so that may just be something ppl do down here?

  • Awesome review as always. I've been watching MMA starting around 1995, and I've learned a lot from listening to your critiques, cheers!

  • i like ufc on fox, but i can't figure out one thing...why do you have the nfl football music as a intro to the ufc on fox? does that make any sense? arent you competing with the nfl? i dont get it, i understand you gotta get your foot in the door but wouldnt you want to make your own presentation? just think about it for a second

  • @hotta1488 Thats the fox sports music not the nfl music, and the ufc is now on fox so it has that music. Any sport on fox will have the same music.

  • I'm sorry but I have to point this out. Calf slicers can definitely cause damage, namely by separating the knee joint. Imagine taking a nutcracker and trying to crack and unbreakable nut. Eventually, the joint of the nutcracker would break apart. A calf cutter works the same. That's an extreme case, but there could also be injuries to muscles and tendons. Probably nothing very serious, but injuries can absolutely happen from calf/bicep slicers. My buddy got a separated elbow on a bicep slicer.

  • I can tell you that I've been caught in a calf slicer before. its immediate excruciating pain on the calf. I didn't feel anything on my knee, but I had trouble walking for the next week.

  • Yo karsten is the hollohan/cortez battle still dropping today?

  • Yeah, I was surprised how good bisping fought.

I gave Rashad the excuse of not finishing the fight as being rusty and too cautious.

  • Anderson has no problem signing contracts with Maia, an going out there just to dance around for 5 rounds. It's funny how he declined Sonnen 5 times.

And i don't get why so many people hate on Chael an Bisping, they always come to fight. If you take anything Chael says personally or seriously maybe you should take a step back an rethink things lol. Bisping got KTFO by Hendo, to me the debts been paid LOL. Im fan of both those guys.

  • @xkillaz18x

Do you have proof that Silva declined to fight Sonnen five times?

I haven't seen it, so if you have, let me know where it is.

  • @HoneyIEducatedTheWeb It's a pretty bold statement Sonnen made, and I don't see or hear Anderson coming out with anything...

I don't have proof that Anderson declined Chael 4 times, though when Dana or Lorenzo is involved in the same statment, i have a hard time believing Chael would make shit up about his bosses. I guess Anderson even said no to Dana's face...

  • @xkillaz18x Silva has a right to deny sonnen (not after this win for chael) but before. Sonnen got submitted/finished, he didnt lose by decision, he got finished. When the champ finishes you, you have to go to the back of the line and put on a winning streak to be able to challenge the champ. I think its bs when chael wanted a rematch after one win, when you got guys like jim miller winning like 9 straight and never getting a title shot.

  • @TheDre3001 Just because Anderson is the best, an hes the #1 p4p goat doesn't mean hes a God, so i will not speak of him, or treat him any differently then any other fighter... Yes, Anderson did finish Chael, though it was after he lost every minute an every round up until he caught Chael with a triangle. I look at this sport like any other, i believe in rematches especially if it was a close game. Lets see what happens with no injury, an no peds!

  • @xkillaz18x

    Anderson doesn't say anything anyway.

He can't win a debate in English. Look at GSP; he refused to get into heated discussions with Koscheck, and always backed down against Hughes in TUF.

As for signing contracts...Silva signed with Maia before their first fight. Silva signed with Sonnen before their first fight.

Drugged up Sonnen, with Silva injured, and probably overlooking Chael, Silva still won.

"I don't want to fight him" is not the same as "I am scared", which you imply.

  • @HoneyIEducatedTheWeb I didn't imply anything you book worm english tea drinking crumpet suckin grammer whore. Don't put words in my mouth.

  • @xkillaz18x

It is what you implied, much as Sonnen implies it when he says it.

I called you out and you can't take the heat; that's understandable.

It looks like I got to you. If I had known that you were susceptible to nervous breakdowns on YouTube, I'd have shown you mercy.

    Chin up, kid.

  • @HoneyIEducatedTheWeb I seen your comments around, your a preppy smart ass arrogant moron if you ask me. I made a simple comment about Chael an your beloved Anderson Silva. Obviously it put your panties in bunch ROFL

Now your going to attack me, saying im nervous, you got to me mentally, an you called me out...on youtube!?!? Fuck sakes yah wanker, wake up an grow a pair

  • @xkillaz18x

    I like Chael Sonnen, actually.

Unfortunately, because you're a narrow minded individual, you cannot see that it is okay to give credit where credit is due, and damnation where it is also due.

For someone telling me to "grow up", you sure had a bit of a tantrum back there. Now that you've realised just how stupid you looked, you're trying to play the 'cool head'.

It's pretty easy to see through you.

  • @HoneyIEducatedTheWeb Sorry, i shouldn't have been so hostile when you first replied to me, but to be honest, i new you were an arrogant little prick.

Tell you the truth, this "i'm above you" type approach you do to everyone, annoys the fuck out of me. So come out from underneath that rock of your's, an try speaking your mind to someone in person. I have nothing more to say to you.

  • @xkillaz18x

Arrogance presupposes ignorance. If you could back up your claims I might take them seriously.

As for this "above you" approach, that might be the case. I apologise for my demeanour.

But when you say I should say it to people in person...That's exactly what I do. I am so used to speaking my mind in such a direct fashion that it shocks people and they start thinking I am cocky and whatnot. And perhaps I am. We'll see if I can back that up within the next decade.

  • @HoneyIEducatedTheWeb Apology not accepted! You're a stupid fool, so you comprehend what you read, you're a book worm, you want a fucking cookie for that. Dumb ass wanker

  • @xkillaz18x

I'm a book worm? Yes, I like to read. I'd warrant that I am also so vastly superior to you in most sports as to almost come across as funny.

And ya know...I always find you're one of the first to comment on YouTube videos...Do you do nothing but sit on your computer waiting for them to upload?

    Much love.

  • @HoneyIEducatedTheWeb Stop trying to make insults, just because you're behind your computer like a little bitch. I find it funny you say i'm the first to comment on videos, because thats mean you would have to be there also to see my comment. Epic Fail!

  • @xkillaz18x What a preppy peice of shit you are...LOL at you dude

  • @HoneyIEducatedTheWeb I noticed when you first commented to me, you wanted to get my reply to start building a case for whatever reason. You are an argumentative ad hominem. Instead of seeing the humor in my comment, you choose to try an make it serious, for whatever reason, where you failed in the end. Like you said, you called me out, so the meaning of my comment probley did not matter in the end, or you did not see the humor, because your just a trololololol

  • @xkillaz18x

I'm going to skip past all of your spelling and grammatical mistakes, because it doesn't necessarily make you stupid and uneducated (although that is the trend, I'm afraid).

None of your comments has contained any wit nor humour. Usually, when someone has been to utterly owned, they do tend to play the, "IT WAS JUST A JOKE LOL" card.

I've seen this too many times to be fooled, sorry.

I'm past this bipolar episode of yours. I hope you'll find a way to do the same.

    ;)

  • @HoneyIEducatedTheWeb What exactly are you talking about, an what are you trying to prove?

  • @HoneyIEducatedTheWeb And im not saying Anderson should sign the contract with Chael, especially after everything Chael has said, joking or not. I'm just saying it's funny how Anderson has no problem signing fights with guys like Maia, where there's also animosity, though he sapposedly declined Chael 4 times.
