Ok so u was just at there live concert last night (feb 4) it was there first performance of this yes tour...and Lynn and Alex are gone!!! There is one person taking both of there places!! Their performance was shown on Singapore (will be hosting the 1st Young Olympic games from 14/8/10--26/8/10) TV station(the OKTO) last night(18/7/10). Great performance , beautiful music/songs, loving people and a wounderful night.. I like their songs even though this is my first time seeing them. Thanks

The "other two singers" Meav and Orla left to do solo work and to be with their families. Lynn and Alex are doing just fine, and while it may not be quite the same, the *quality* of what I have heard from Celtic Woman has not diminished in the slightest.
God bless these women who touch the hearts of those who are listening. Angels sing in harmony along with them, for this reason I am truly humbled to tears.
I really miss Meav and Orla. Alex and Lynn are great singers but it's hard to accept the voice you love change so much.
And Chloe has grown up to... try a bit too hard. She's still teenager so it's understandable that she poses so much but with that kinda beauty being more natural would be better.

It was on today(Sat. 11/28/09) at 3 pm EST in the US. I missed the first 15 minutes but I saw the rest & it was great! I'm so buying the dvd & the cd!
This show makes me start to really like Alex for the first time. She seems happy and inviting and friendly. Lisa however is still my favourite. I don't have any feelings for Lynn though. She always seems too cold, distant, unfriendly and indifferent.
Oh really. Well my bad then for jumping to such conclusions. I hope Lynn loses some of her shyness and smile more because the few times I saw her smile in her performances she looks really sweet. That way I'll be in love with all of the celtic women.
Alex had an advantage when she joined CW, and that's she had much performed in the musical world. You learn there to make contact with the audience and show more feelings when performing. While Lynn had her roots in Riverdance and Anuna, where that is less important... Still she is a very talented soprano :) But Alex is my favorite at the moment, also because she is a christian.
Actually Lynn admitted that she felt intimidated when she was asked by David Downes to be a part of Celtic Woman. She said she has watched Celtic Woman's previous album and was worried because she had to fill the soprano role of Maev's. Believe me. I know how that feels
=> Lynn might be shy when performing with the members of CW. However, you can catch her smiling sometimes and she seems to be a sweet person.
Let's support her to have more courage. She'll adjust and express herself.

I'm not Scott. Scott is indeed very fortunate to have a sweet lady like Lisa - a lady with a sweet face, sweet smile, sweet personality, sweet character and a sweeeeeeeeeeeeet voice. I read comments of fans who met her and I read Scott's comments on her when they both talked about their love story in an article in 2006 and he definitely made it clear that she was kind and unselfish, a good friend and good partner. Scott is super lucky if luck brought her to him.

I know you're all gonna hate me for saying this. But I really think they sold out. They started out doing classical music and gaelic ballads, cool music, intimate shows. Now there's fireworks exploding in the background and they're dancing everywhere - what is with the choreography? This isn't Vegas. And instead of staying with their roots, they're doing Disney and gospel and trying to reach a larger audience while losing their charm

But they are true to their Irish roots. But 3/4 of their new show will be Irish music. And Alex Sharpe has also said: 'our show is not meant to be a historical correct image or Ireland.. we only hope the spirits of our audience will be satisfied a bit and stand stronger in life..' And reading a lot reviews they really succeed in that :)
Well, thats something them. When they first came out, I fell in love with them, because even though I hadn't before, I suddenly loved classical music. Meav, especially, was singing fantastic irish songs I never knew, and I loved it! But then, once the members started leaving and getting replaced, I was afraid this would become like other shows. More scenery and lights, less music.

It was a great pleasure to have been in the audience for this marvelous new show. It was spectacular in person and looks to be so on video. These artists and their music are like none other. David Downes has created another masterpiece. Thanks so much to all involved for this new treasure.
chloe lost a bunch of weight and she looks better than ever however lisa is till my fav I'm so glad she's still on I hope one day soon the "originals" will come together once more...and hopefully bring hayley on board once again...big fan from the start and will continue to be matter of fact I'm about to watch their concert in pasadena this weekend

His channel didn't have anything to convince me. Remember the gailge and the nativetexan characters? Remember how they, especially nativetexan, said vile and evil things about David Downes and Scott Porter? About Lisa getting divorced from Scott after many fans start to believe NativeTexan was the friend of Chloe, Lisa and Maev? We have to be careful not to be gullible you know. WackoD has to prove himself on the celticwoman forum for it's much more authentic than this comments page.

Lisa is my favorite and I ADORE her costuming, singing, and angelic grace and such a sweet personality.
I had the honor and pleasure of meeting Mrs. Kelly in Knoxville, Tennessee at a meet and greet. She was unbelievably kind and so generous with her time. I adored every second of my conversation with her. Hope to see her again soon!

It's true. She is married to Scott Porter. However, she still goes by Lisa Kelly. Legally, of course, she is Mrs. Porter.
I still call her Mrs. Kelly, because that sounds nicer to me.

I'm not Scott. Scott is indeed very fortunate to have a sweet lady like Lisa - a lady with a sweet face, sweet smile, sweet personality, sweet character and a sweeeeeeeeeeeeet voice. I read comments of fans who met her and I read Scott's comments on her when they both talked about their love story in an article in 2006 and he definitely made it clear that she was kind and unselfish, a good friend and good partner. Scott is super lucky if luck brought her to him.

It varies from station to station. It did air already on Connecticut PBS. It will air on many stations beginning November 28th and onward. Check your local PBS for details and enjoy the show!!

I LOVE this video!!! Cant stop watching it. :) I love all of the girls in every second of this video they all look like they are having the time of their lives. Lisa's new solo oh my gosh, it brought me to tears, its so beautiful. All of the songs are beautiful!!!! I love seeing Helen in a lot of the shots too. :) It's gonna be sooooooooooo good!!!!!!!! :D :D :D

TheGeantrai: I totally agree with you. This is just amazing! I totally agree about what you said about the group without Meav and Orla. I miss Meav and Orla sooo much and would LOVE for them to come back, but I think Lynn and Alex fit in very well with the group. I think Meav and Orla would be really proud of them, because they are just as talented but in a different way. I just can't wait until this comes out on DVD and CD! I know I won't stop listening to this!!!

I know you're all gonna hate me for saying this. But I really think they sold out. They started out doing classical music and gaelic ballads, cool music, intimate shows. Now there's fireworks exploding in the background and they're dancing everywhere - what is with the choreography? This isn't Vegas. And instead of staying with their roots, they're doing Disney and gospel and trying to reach a larger audience while losing their charm

@: cctc11891. I understand your thoughts about it, when I saw the fireworks for example I was like.. Wow, this is quite over the top.
But they are true to their Irish roots. But 3/4 of their new show will be Irish music. And Alex Sharpe has also said: 'our show is not meant to be a historical correct image or Ireland.. we only hope the spirits of our audience will be satisfied a bit and stand stronger in life..' And reading a lot reviews they really succeed in that :)

Well, thats something them. When they first came out, I fell in love with them, because even though I hadn't before, I suddenly loved classical music. Meav, especially, was singing fantastic irish songs I never knew, and I loved it! But then, once the members started leaving and getting replaced, I was afraid this would become like other shows. More scenery and lights, less music.

actually isn't if you think about it hough I felt the same way but just like the sting songs the girls use and celtic thunder, he irish and if you listen closer to phil collins I think he might be irish or of descent? Idk though though but that kinda sounds right though? i might be wrong?

It was a great pleasure to have been in the audience for this marvelous new show. It was spectacular in person and looks to be so on video. These artists and their music are like none other. David Downes has created another masterpiece. Thanks so much to all involved for this new treasure.

chloe lost a bunch of weight and she looks better than ever however lisa is till my fav I'm so glad she's still on I hope one day soon the "originals" will come together once more...and hopefully bring hayley on board once again...big fan from the start and will continue to be matter of fact I'm about to watch their concert in pasadena this weekend
