  • go to system preferences/Displays/Arrangement/ and tick MIRROR DISPLAYS. otherwise it's working as a secondary screen(just move your mouse to the right and you should see it on your tv...

  • You have to make sure you are using the right DVI it can be I or D but set it up for mirror displays.

  • i dno im looking to get a macbook pro and have a toshiba regza 32" 1080p (supposedly :P) tv and im looking for ways on how to connect macbook pro to the TV with best possible connection

  • I have a Macbook and I've been looking to get an HDTV..a 720p. The Macbook has a native res of 720p..I've watched quite a few 720p trailers from Appledotcom and they seem to come in crystal clear. In a couple of forums people were saying that it loses it quality when hooked up to HDtv..is this true??

  • So, the cord which one did you use? THe mini DVI to component or s-vide or did you use something else? I plan on getting something like this or for my sister.

  • What cables do i need to do this. I've been trying to find one for a while. Are you using a mini dvi to hdmi or mini dvi to video output ?

  • is that a polaroid? what kind of connection did u use?

  • is this a macbook pro ?

  • dude that wuz awesome,i wanna get a macbook but im afraid of the low graphics card that it wouldnt have a high quality HDMI output, would u recommend it?

  • The offical tech specs from Apple say:

"Extended desktop and video mirroring: Simultaneously supports full native resolution on the built-in display and up to 1920 by 1200 pixels on an external display, both at millions of colours"

That's a very high resolution, check the native resolution of your HDTV, it's probably less than this.

  • Mate that is quality! im looking to get a macbook would you recommend it? Ive been a windows guy all my life as well.
