I'm not stupid. There's no need to be a rude little keyboard warrior - you're just making yourself look like a blubbering child.
I have respect for courage but as I work in a hospital and have met several people with ABI's (google if you don't know what that is) I don't condone this sort of 'courage'. You can still with a contest with intelligence and don't HAVE to get yourself hurt to get the ball. Even AFL players themselves frequently state that it's 10% physical and 90% mental.
@dougie504 But the courage is all part of the mental side of it, and for some players it's just instinct, they have their eyes on the ball and are going to go for it no matter what.
@dougie504 By the time you see where the ball is, then look to see if someone is coming, and then look back at the ball, the oppertunity to actually get it will be lost. I see your point, but if people are going to play like that, they will never make it to AFL level in the first place.
like if you replayed the collision more than once.

One of the biggest.. and fairest bumps i've seen since the 90's
and its not idiotic. not to the people who play and enjoy the game. things like that is what make the game.

That is and probably always will be the biggest bump I have ever seen. Eyes only on the footy from both players, especially Lewis.
