  • I cried so hard. RIP

  • You don't think that calling a gun that killed 14 women and injured a dozen more, beautiful isn't shameful? If you have met any one of the family members who have been affected by this tragedy, you wouldn't be so quick to admire that gun

  • i'm remstar!

  • does anyone know where i could find the letters he wrote on that day? did he make them public??

  • @chachidog10 I think if you type it in on wikipedia they show his suicide note.

  • Ruger mini 14 is a beautiful firearm, Shame it got restricted.

  • are you joking? Either way, your comment is shameful

  • @SuperAndiKi I don't think so

  • A person who went to this school at the time actually recommended this movie to me (because of a story I was writing)... although she said she's never actually seen it herself because she could never bring herself to watch it.

  • thumbs up if you live in montreal and are scared shitless..

  • I live in montreal, my dad told me about this.

  • @TheHauntingOfDave Same. My dad was even working at Universite de Montreal that day.

  • one of the most horrific days in the history of modern montreal...

  • Yeap women are glorious creatures. That's why my mom abandoned me when I was a child. It's because she's naturally morally superior to all men.

  • @johnny4463435 You deserve the same for being disrespectful you fucking asshole

  • OMG!!!!LOVE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THE MUSIC IS AMAZING, I LOVE THE DIRECTOR,, FOR THIS MOVIE AND INCENDIES!!!!!

  • @moorevayne That's not funny, he murdered fourteen people. If he killed any of the women in your life you wouldn't be joking about it.

  • @irow931 no he murdered 14 women, no men. he targeted them specifically.

  • hm well lets see pussy kid with a single shot gone 20 boys in class mag only hold 12 rounds,

  • @Lewis2931 its a carbine.not a shotgun. can hold 15 or 20 rounds depending on the magasine. and im sure he brought more than 1 with him

  • @snoopy3600 o i know its not a shot gun but it is a single shot rifle all im saying is they could have over powerd him

  • @Lewis2931 not trying to pick a fight on youtube or anything. but its semi auto. can shoot as fast as he pulls the trigger. if i was there i wouldnt have tried to jump him. just saying

  • @KnightTemplar09 - You should think before speaking. Kimveer Gill was also muslim ? What about Valery Fabrikant ? You are stupid and you do not know anything about Islam. Stop leaving comments about muslims.

  • @KnightTemplar09 Fuck you ..

  • It is tragic. Just think If some of the women/men would have been allowed to have a pistol and been trained to use it there would not have been 14 dead.

  • Sad thing is, a lot of people consider Marc Lepine to be some kind of hero these days. That's just fucked up.

  • the montreal massacre :(

  • i live in canada and want to know if anyone knows the DVD release date for this movie??

  • I saw this film today, and it really is a great film. It dipicts the shooting very well, it's really graphic, but while doing so really illistrates the events that happened that day. For any of you guys who haven't seen it, it's a really touching movie and shows us what hate can do it people and others.

  • Think about it this guy was abused as a child by his father, his father abused his mother, left him, and basically taught his son that woman are only destined to be nothing more than slaves to men. Parents are supposed to be their childs role model and his father taught him nothing but wrong and he grew up believing all of this. He 'became' a deeply disturbed young man and I think it could have been different for him if his father wasn't such a douche. RIP all that died Dec.6.1989

  • has any body seen this film,,, is it any good?

  • @beautyandnobeast It's actually very good! I had to watch it last week in my Crime and Media class. You need to pay attention to it because it jumps all over the place, but I think they did a good job making it, for a low-budget movie anyways. Get's it's point across thats for sure. Freaked me out, I didn't want to leave my classroom after this one!

  • @courtney8789 lmao i was in that crime in media class... and now am writing my take home exam on a part of this text... lol

  • @beautyandnobeast Yes it is really good !! I'd even say a must see movie

  • @beautyandnobeast It's a genius film..although very emotional. I never even heard about this event before I watched the film and it made me very emotional..

  • This is tragic. My father was scheduled to arrive polytechnic at 4:45, when the shootings started, to help a friend with a presentation. He was half an hour late and was turned away by the police at the entrance. My mother also went to polytechnic and graduated a year or two before this tragedy.

  • people thought he was randomly a woman hater but it turns out there is much more behind why he shot them. it turns out marc lepine was an outcast of his school so he decided to get good grades and go to engineering school as his one good thing but he was from a poor family. so he tried earning a scholarship and nearly got it but that year this liberal anti racist thing made it people of certain colour and women were more likely to be accepted and some women with lower grades than him got in.

  • @ultradumbass i almost forgot too, only 2 weeks before the shooting, his ex girlfriend aborted his baby against his will but was powerless to stop her because of the laws made right before it. i also doubt the shooting was premeditated. he intended to talk to people, but if he was going to shoot them he would not have bothered talking to those in the room previously, him and a few others had an argument and he lost his temper for a moment. which is why he wrote shit twice on the projector.

  • he just needed help but nobody was there for him...

  • @SabresOfBuffaloFan1 He killed women beacause Woman was accepted in universit. and not him he was so frustrated about Feminism and how woman take place in the society. So for him , kill woman was the only issue.

  • Marc Lépine is my hero

  • @naik2222 good then go kill yourself like he did, smartest thing he ever did actually. leave others out of it.

  • @karlsmith00 yes i do..but im so evil that i wont miss the chance to kill someone before killing my self.

  • Pretty hilarious how videos like this always spur up a stupid debate. This time its women against men. K, so a guy went into a school and killed a whole bunch of women. There have been worse things (Columbine). This was 11 years ago for christs sake move on. More than half the world doesnt even know about this shooting. Death happens all the time, look at the wars we have going on. Yes, its a tradgedy that white people have to die but oh well it happens lol move on people, for your own good

  • A haunting film, no one should have to experience that kind of horror. It's powerful but painfull.

    cheers

  • Wow...That's the breath-taking view from Mount Royal at exactly 0:05 seconds in.

My blog has a photo of it on the front page at the top....I'm overlooking the city I love.

Jeff Emmerson - My Story (Google)

  • praise marc lepine, may he rest in vahalla for his act. women/feminist have cause so much pain to men in the world

  • @flightwing600 praise Marc Lepine wow dude you seriously have a Big problem feminist did not cause any harm to men they just want to be equals and be respected for what they have achieved in life... if you feel offended by feminist then your are a poor excuse of a man like he was... grow up and get over yourself things have changed we are not in the 40s anymore....and if your a woman i feel so sorry for you

  • @jmis2008 read mary baly and see what she wrote. she wanted to destroy males and then she refused to allow males in her university courses. and only 6 years earlier some idiot feminist named valerie solanos went on a shooting rampage to kill men and she fatally injured andy warhol and injured someone else. andy warhol died a few years later from infections. marc lepine was not a criminal, he was smart however he had a few things go wrong all at the same time like his baby getting aborted.

  • @ultradumbass i meant mary daly. i sometimes get those names mixed up. marc lepine should not have shot people, and based on witness accounts i don't believe the massacre itself was premeditated, however i can see his reasons why. i have to admit he makes good points, he lost his engineering scholarships based on the idea he wasn't a female and had to take liberal arts and computers where he was the star pupil but only wanted engineering, and his girlfriend aborted his baby against his will.

  • @ultradumbass It sounds like your justifying everything that he did... who cares incomparison who did what.... if this person did this, and that person did that... he still went into a school with a gun and shot people... because... HE WAS JEALOUS OF WHAT THEY HAD AND HE DIDNT!... you go through life and shit happens... its called life... but in no way can you justify him going and killing people that he did not even know... there is a reason your screen name is ultra dumb ass... clearly

  • @SMUwolf lol you are very bad at making insults and at trying to make yourself look more intelligent than you really are. and there is no reason i made this name. i just did for the fuck of it. it is a pity though someone who really would have intelligence this low would never be able to think of such a creative name. really sad because it would fit you perfectly considering the fact that any dimwit can put random letters before adding wolf. lol, big brains there.

  • @ultradumbass the SMU stands for the university that I go to where I am getting my masters in criminology... lol so no I dont need to pretend to be smart because clearly I am... the wolf is for our school logo... figured Id through that in there.... lmao and im looking at my past post... I dont see where I was trying to look intelligent, well maybe incomparison is a large word for you...

  • @SMUwolf learn to spell and maybe i'll care:) i know many are not english native and many are dyslexic. well my first language is not english either yet i write quite fine, pretty lazy with the capitals, since it is too much for me to hold enter and a letter at the same time. and please don't waste my time telling me you're doing random courses since i could just as easily claim i am doing a PHD at harvard and you can't debunk a thing. oh and PS, going to university doesn't make you smart:)

  • @ultradumbass actually, it kind of does you stupid retard.

  • @tristanlof23 name me one person who is "smart" who went to university and i will name you 10 geniuses who didn't. and make sure to give me a reason for why they are smart:)

  • @flightwing600 burn in hell faggot

  • so apperently this movie was done in black and white so that the focus of the movie wouldnt be the blood...

i think thats a pretty genius idea

  • @xxcurly1978xx I haven't watched to movie, so if you don't mind, could you tell me why the focus wouldn't be on the blood and rather on something else?

  • @AlannahClaire I think because they wanted people to think about why it was happening..not just on what was happening. To have people focus on all aspects of the movie and the event itself would make it more powerful.

  • Its a shame this country will not allow its citizens to arm themselves. Imagine how quickly this would have been resolved if even one student had a concealed carry permit.

  • @fatoni698 yahhhh... cuz the answer to one gun is more guns!...and the best punishment for killers is the death penalty....

    (please note sarcasm)

  • @Siobanphotogirl Well, I never said anything about the death penalty, but if the answer to one gun isn't another (I am sure the police that responded had guns) what is it? Police and military both have firearms, for what? To respond to someone else with a gun or to try and protect you from someone else who has a weapon. What is the answer then? Ban all guns!? Oh wait, that only affects the people who follow the law and not the criminals.

  • @fatoni698 k, so think about what you said

    1. Guy starts killing people with a gun

    2. Since everyone else has guns someone pulls out a gun and kills him

    3. Guy didn't see the original shooter, suddenly thinks the "hero" is the murderer

    4. Repeat

in the end, more guns causes chaos

the police know what the fuck they're doing

    everyday citizens do not

and there's always the ability for someone to have been brave enough to, I don't know, try to disarm him?

  • @metalhead250 We are talking about people that have proper training etc. What separates a citizen with the same or better training than an LEO from the officers that responded? Your scenario is ridiculous.

  • looks like a funny ass movie. nice to see a light hearted comedy again.

  • @fatyetskinny Shut up man, this movie is in memory of death people of the December 6th and you are saying Funny ass movie. Shut up.

  • Lol MrKimveer ta le nom a kimveer gill lol

  • Darwin doesn't rule out God. You just have to take into consideration that the Bible were written by humans a long time ago. At a time when superstition ruled.

  • The misogyny here is just surreal. They wanted to get an education, and they were slaughtered for it. And people here are justifying it?? What the hell?? I am female, would you kill me for wanting to be an engineer?

  • Horrible tragedy. Gun control and gun registration would not and will not stop this type of thing from happening, yet Canada thinks this is the route to go. Similar tragedies occur in the USA and people change the law to permit properly trained/screened men and women to carry guns or tazzers to defend themselves- which in fact does lower crime in those areas. The police took forever to respond to this tragedy, one of the "victims" could have stoped him immediatly.

  • :/

Je dois faire un projet sur cette sujet, c'est comme, tres triste.

  • Where can I download an English version of this, does anyone know?

  • il a soufert comme les famille des victimes ne souffriront jamais

  • Si vrai, mon ami...

  • Qui comprend sa souffrance bande dignare ?

  • Is this song Moby?

  • yes PostHuman2113 good comment + 10 ^^

  • Marc Lepine, pan-Anglosphere post-feminist legend.

  • a dark day indeed

  • I will never forget that day

  • Thank you very much for posting the english trailer to the movie and specifying the title of the melody!

  • 6th December, 1989.

  • @PostHuman2113

What an ignorant prick you are. What if it was your mother or sister that died that day? People like you are a waste of space.

  • WTF? Obviously you are a disturbed person.

  • Mother, sister, auntie....list as many female totles as you wish - the male gender, is EXPENDABLE!!! No-one cares about the humane rights of male people. It's about time people like you who can't see the need for revolutionary change dropped off the face of the earth.

  • @PostHuman2113

Like I said - My mistake for even commenting on a sick fuck like you. Revolutionary change? So you are ok with killing women to accomplish this? Get your head out of your ass. Obviously you are a disturbed animal. Your end will come. Don't worry.

  • Your end will come also. Mark my words.

  • @PostHuman2113 I understand your rage but we must try and resolve this situation peacefully. Killing innocent people is indefenceable. Masculinity is being destroyed by femenism but we have to make women realize what they are doing. I fear they'll only notice if they get hurt like this.

  • LOL @ ED, I was only giving back what they put in!

It doesn't help to reason reason with monstrous abusers - also, what is this crap about being against WOMEN per se?!!! It was always MEN who oppressed men, in the past centuries and beyond, into prehistoric times.

So it is an egalitarian for of rage. You only object to the violence against WOMEN.

    MALES are EXPENDABLE!!

Just think of the wars of the 20th C.

"indefenceable" - Your spelling is indefensible.

  • Masculinity is not the issue - all the women being promoted right now are quite masculine.

Malesness is being destroyed, abused, deconstructed, manipulated and abused some more to the benefit of femalekind.

  • @edmund184 How is masculinity being "destroyed"? You need to murder us to get us to 'notice' your wounded masculinity?? WOW.

  • Women getting educated is not the issue.

In order to explain this to you I have to ask you some questions.

Question 1- do you think there's a God?

  • @edmund184

I don't believe there is a god, no. What is the relevance of the existence of a supernatural diety to the brutal murders of these students? The murderer was angry that women were getting into a school where he thought they didn't belong. They wanted to be engineers, some men think it's not a woman's place to be an engineer. His solution was to massacre them.

  • Well you've given the answer I thought you were going to give.

There's no God, so Darwinism is true . We are the result of evolution. We've emerged from the primordial soup. Our purpose is to survive. We need birth to reproduce the species. We also need people to raise children, and we need hunter gatherers to provide food and shelter for survival.

Now, question 2- why is it that 3 billion women have wombs, breasts; and of 3 billion men there is not one, anywhere who can give birth?

  • @edmund184

Hmm...let's see if I can guess where this is going. WOmens needs to stay home and take care of the babies, as they are nothing but human incubators, and men need to hunt. So when women don't stay home, they'll be picked off by serial killers for not knowing their place. Hunted down, if you will. Nice.

  • No I'm not saying women should be killed. What Lepine did was wrong.

I'm asking you to think. Don't you ever wonder why men can't have children? Before we talk about women being in the workplace can we at least consider the idea that women HAVE NOT been oppressed and that in NATURE women are meant to be raising children, for survival. I'm not saying women should all be in the kitchen, but will you at least consider WHY you have a womb and I don't. That's the question: can you answer it?

  • @edmund184 Having a womb doesn't mean women haven't been oppressed. Don't blame it on our wombs or NATURE. In nature, males take care of offspring quite frequently whilst the females hunt. Carrying a baby for 9 months doesn't mean you have to be the only one raising it once it comes out. What about dads? R U saying men can't raise children too? That's rather insulting to all the dad's out there who do just that.

  • And again what does this have to do with the brutal massacre of these students? You're saying women shouldn't be killed (how generous of you) but there was a method to Lepine's madness?

If I said I did believe in God, no doubt you'd use the God's Divine Plan argument.

It seems like it takes a lot of threats and bullying and violence to get women to behave 'naturally'.

  • You say women have been oppressed.

Women are 51% of the population. In practically every single culture on Earth women have been in the home.

How is it possible for the minority to oppress the majority for thousands of years if women are mens' equals? IN Ancient Greece women were entirely in the home, yet Athens worshipped a female GOD. Explain that.

In Russia if you criticized Stalin you went to Siberia. Were Roman femenists put in concentration camps? Oppressed, show me how.

  • Edmund, Are you serious? That's a real question, there, skippy? When 49% of the population (not quite a minority) can kick your ass by brute force, then they can oppress you. Athens worshipped many Gods and Goddesses, Athena was turned into a mouthpiece for Male Supremacy, A Goddess of War, born not of a woman but from the skull of Zeus.

Look at women in Islamic countries, that's a crass and openly blatant version of the HOW TO GUIDE to oppress women. Or are they not oppressed either?

  • @selinakyle So if you think women have been oppressed by brute force how do you explain why the CURRENT femenist movement hasn't been oppressed? Why have men given in to femenism.

In order to justify that statement you have to find examples of femenist movements in previous times that were physically destroyed by men? Can you.

Women have been in the kitchen for millions of years. Why isn't it possible that nature has programmed you to be there not that men have forced you to be there?

  • We have rebelled and fought back, that has been labeled feminism, the human rights movement for women.

We don't have record going back MILLIONS of years, but the laws we do know of do have severe penalties for women who don't stay 'in the kitchen'. Agains just take a look at Muslim countries. What happens if a woman walks out of the house alone? She could be stoned to death by the community. That has been going on for centuries. Women are murdered for stepping out of line. Do some research.

  • @selinakyle You keep talking about Muslims, well what about Christian societies and Buddhist societies? Jesus Christ was a pacifist and Christians are supposed to turn the other cheek: where is the inherent violence against women in the New Testament. As it happens there's a lot of compassion for women in the New Testament.

You still haven't said where the femenist movements of the past were and how they were oppressed. It's taken you a longtime to fight back baby.

    I think you're neurotic.

  • @edmund184 Ah, personal attacks, very classy. Yeah, it's hard to fight back, baby, when beatings rapes and murders are what manly men do to keep uppity women in line. Read a few books, try a bit of researching before you make a fool of yourself. You have an abysmal knowledge of history. I recommend Misogyny: The World's Oldest Prejudice by Jack Holland. He's a man, so you might take him more seriously. Christian societies? Are you kidding??

  • @selinakyle Manly men beat women? Well I worked in a hotel where there was a very macho Frenchman who had been a soldier and he worked with a woman who insulted him and tried to tell him what to do. He told me that if a man did that to him he'd offer him out for a fight- but he couldn't do that BECAUSE she was a woman. I can give you 3 other incidents at the hotel where men didn't hit women when the women deserved it.

  • @selinakyle There's no real link between machismo and violence against women. Rape has carried the death penalty in patriarchal societies. The Old Testament says rapists should have their hands cut off. A man got a months hard labour for beating his wife in my hometown in 1885. There were carriages on trains in England that were WOMEN ONLY so that women could be get around safely.

  • @edmund184 Maybe if men stopped performing sex crimes against women there wouldn't need to be extra protective measures to ensure women's safety,

  • @antiXincorporated we should have male protection, valerie solanos killed andy warhol and injured someone else, and she gets 3 years. and this was even before polytechnique. if andy warhol and the the other person she shot would have been girls and she were a male, everyone would be calling for her death. i don't like double standards, either it is wrong for females to kill men, or marc lepine did nothing wrong. you can't have it both ways.

  • @selinakyle I suggest you now type "Oliver Reed Shelley Winters part 3 of 3" into you tube and ask yourself why Oliver doesn't punch Shelley for what she does to him.

There are so many occasions where women deserve violence (I mean because men would get violence in the same situation) and they get nothing. I will read the Jack Holland book though.

  • @selinakyle

I'm sorry to disapointed you but a women walking alone in a muslim country won't be stoned to death. I'm not sure where you've heard that non-sence.

  • @selinakyle i am a muslim and i am not oppressed. take your bigoted and completely stereotypical views and kindly shove them down your throat. just because 3 women were oppressed abused does not imply that the rest of the 3 million were Einstein.

  • @vampiiress

Religion isn't a protected class, it's a belief system, so I'm not being "bigoted". Read your sacred book, it's full of unbelievable hatred for women. Open your eyes and look at reality.

  • @DersimDortDagIcinde

It was wrong to shoot those women, let's hope it never happens again.

Maybe it's time for you to consider why he committed the crime, try to understand it. I believe I know why he did it.

  • @DersimDortDagIcinde go drink your father sperm

  • @naik2222 Go drink your mom's vaginal secretions.

  • @DersimDortDagIcinde go drink sperm and orgazem of your ex girlfirend that fucks with his big cook..

  • is that the real one?

  • yep
