i find this technique difficult to do, the enemy can learn to hold the focus attack slightly longer than they might be used to and land a full crumple on you

so what happens is your opponent decides to hold the focus attack take the slide from guy then immediately foward dash? would guy still recover to punish or will guy get punish??

@GRRAB It doesn't have to be directly in front of you, the hitbox for run slide goes under the focus attack hitboxes for these characters.

Run slide also moves you forward, think about that part?

@Zevali I'm not sure what part of tartarus, but yeah it's from p3 and it is a tartarus track, there's like 6 of them i went through, this one was the best for the intro.

A note about the punish used on Vega/Cody; Can they backdash-cancel out of that, or does your FA reach far enough/active for long enough to punish that as well?

@pwnzjoo1 Nevermind. That's used after the attack already whiffs. For some reason I was thinking they could still BD, but they don't hit you, so they can't. ^_^

Just how close you have to be seems to be problematic, unless you were just going closer than needed.
