  • What's name of this song??

  • Nice Braveheart music

  • este comentario ah sido marcado como spam

  • thumbs up if you are watching this in 2011!

  • It's funny. in 1993 Jurassic Park came out and scared the heck out of us all with the extreemely live-like dinosaurs. Then 12 years later they made King King, and then we were back in 1933 - eccept from the gorilla (when it's animated).

How come the movie effects are getting worse and worse since 1993? I still haven't seen an animated animal as good as Jurassic Park's dinosaurs. Just look at the wolves in The Day After Tomorrow. Brilliant movie, amazing effects and then they animate the wolves.

  • @GoldAndDangerous Are you mad?! Have you actually seen Peter Jackson's new King Kong?!! In my opinion, King Kong from that film is among the best single CGI creations in fim history. It was breathtaking and mindblowingly realistic. Saldy the movies pacing doesn't match the brilliance of the visual effects. The effects in King Kong is far more realistic than Jurassic Park (but I like Jurassic Park better as a movie). However, I do feel the CGI from movies that release today look fake...

  • @KayWildcat I think King Kong was amazingly life-like (as I also indicated in my first post). It's the dinosaurs I think is bad, compared to the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park. It's easy to see that they're clipped in when they are running between the brontosaurs' (I think) legs. They also used the same sounds for the velociraptors, as they use in Jurassic Park.

But King Kong is - I just think it's odd how the dinosaurs can be so bad compared to Jurassic Park, when there's 12 years between them.

  • @GoldAndDangerous No, the CGI for the dinosaurs in King Kong is actually a lot better than the ones in Jurassic Park...the problem here is the integration with life-like subjects in which Jurassic Park succeeds with...and that's why it seems more realisiitc.

  • dang this is a really good trailer

  • YO!!!!! K-K!!!!!!!

  • 0:22 AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH

  • hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha nothing has changed since 1933 LOL.. This is so good animation

  • soo back them its black and white.right now its color..in the future wats nexts?

  • Lol, I thought it was the actual trailer.

  • Why do you have the Batman music playing in here.

  • @JcLeopard Trailers often use music from other movies, especially if they're released far in advance of the actual film and the score for the film hasn't been produced yet. If you go watch the trailer for the Peter Jackson remake, you'll hear the same track from Batman Begins.

  • @Flaggboy42 the music is actually from braveheart

  • @rockxxx555 Ummmm, they were asking specifically about the Batman tracks used. Braveheart is used until about 1:23 ; from then on it's all Batman Begins.

  • @Flaggboy42 i only watched half the video my bad

  • nice....xp thumbs up

  • YO!!! K-K!!!!!

  • excelente trailer ! :O.. sentí como si fuera un nuevo estreno pronto a debutar, la música y las escenas te transportan :O..!!!

  • kong king

  • Whahahaha to fake XD

  • ya it is better that avatar

  • gREAT GREAT UNCLE COMPOSED THE MUSIC FOR THAT FILM

  • Really well done ;)

  • Hes scary not crapy

  • lololoollolololoololololollo

  • KING KONG(1933) is one of the greatest, most famous films ever made. This attempt at an updated trailer isn't too bad, actually.

  • @kilt41 avatar is not animated XD but yes. this was really hard to pull of back then. even today its good

  • @kilt41 avatar is not animated XD but yes. this was really hard to pull of back then

  • wtf is up with the ending?

  • I showed this trailer for a presentation in class and no one realized that it wasn't the original (even though that's what I needed for the presentation). No one even noticed the Dark Knight music.

Bullshitting on a presentation saves the day again!

  • The movement of Kong and the Dinasaurs pisses me off! it looks like they're lagging like shit!

  • This is the best 1933 King Kong movie! I don't like the 1976 and 2005.

  • wth is that at the end?

  • considering this was 78 years ago, the special effects are amazing

My Spanish is horrible :p

  • you are watching an 78 years old movie !!!!!.....i hope, that other actually movies in 80 years also THAT ATTRACTIVE !!!!!

  • Actually looks good. Wonder what was the reaction of the people back then?

  • Braveheart!!!!

  • Batman?

  • Batman Begins ? Soundtrack

  • this trailer better than the 76 one

  • I can't stand stop motion in black and white movies

  • @ultra3495 LOL then you sure were a dumbass for coming to this video!

  • Cleeeeerks !!!!

  • @kilt41 avatar is well better than this, how could u say this has a better animation?????

  • @SohnVids

es on crack dont worry about it

  • I love how retro this is. I love to see how movies used to be made before we had computers and junk and this is a perfect example. I wish I could find this movie in the stores because I'd love to own it.

  • Cryptozoology novel see video book trailer

  • king kong of 1933 is ugly kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

  • You know this is 1933 and I think is amazing. Super quality. Full stop EPIC. 100/100

  • co za asy

  • the 2005 version of king kong was pathetic , peter jackson should be ashamed. the story was bad , the effects looked so computer generated it made it hard to watch. the special effects on the 1933 version were not that great compared to something that could be made today but they were groundbreaking at the time. i love this version and the 1976 version was a really cool remake !

  • Have a guy comenting ''better animation than avatar'' omg!avatar is 80% more realistic than king kong...but the movie is great and the animation is very good to the year of the movie

  • horrible.they call this special effects

  • @572gary

    it was 1933

before shit like computers existed to make animation

so really, the effects were ground breaking

don't be a retard and compare something from the past to nowadays movie effects

  • @572gary Wow your a moron this is 1933 this was as amazing as effects nowadays show some respect for one of the most brilliant movies ever made!

  • @572gary Pfft! So says someone who "reviews" Lego sets! Maybe you should think a bit differently when critiquing a film, especially an epic Classic like this, eh!

This is an SFX milestone, one of the earliest at that--an object of great cinematic-historical significance!

So don't be an idiot! *slaps 572gary across back of head*

  • THIS IS THE MUSIC THEY USED FOR THE DARK KNIGHT TRAILER LMFAO.

  • i do better animation playing with toys

  • @noobfart39 Yeah? Can you? Then how come no one gives a flying crap about movies YOU make, eh?

  • dude give them a break ... realy 1933 i mean think about it .... and we got a little machine that can travel through the entire world by electrricity?

  • @kilt41 It's not animation, its was a robot and it was done by Stop-motion technique.

  • @eshanwalter Thats a type of animation

  • lol, imagine all the people in the audience freaking out at the 'amazing graphics' : )

  • Its good how they did this, with StopMotion.

  • put it this way, could any of you dickheads who say it sucks do any better. If so, go make yaself a million bucks and get the hell out of youtube!!

  • there isnt as much difference in graphics then todays films

    it just doesnt have colour

  • oigan son de plastilina

  • New films are actually shit, they have shit storylines and focus too much on graphics.

  • peter jacksons remake just added more detail to the story

but it would never beat the perfect epicness of the first and original one

the 1933 version is the supreme version!

  • It is better quality then i though

  • best version and only version of king kong in my book!

  • LOL the king kong (2005) is just a very good copy of this old shit xD

  • I was 3 when this was first played at the Picture Show. This isn't the original music ths Movie had.

  • @MrCraig1930 Hehe not exactly, no.

These days, because of the Inet and YouTube, etc., some like to make up their own "trailers" for films of the past, perhaps in a more-current-day style. Some make crap and post it here; others do a rather better job, such as in the case of this fan-made "trailer" here.

I think he did pretty good in picking the music, given the sort of trailer that he was making for this wonderful film hehe

OTOH, Max Steiner's score has (arguably) yet to be equaled by anyone.

  • Lol when king kong and the dino fourght everybody dance now should have came on XD

  • Is the original trailer from 1933 gone or something?

  • the old one's so much cooler than the new one.

  • You've done this video very well. :D x

  • i find king kong to look scarier looking in here.

  • Great job on this trailer. It looks like a studio made clip!

  • How did they do the effects?

  • i lol'd when i saw king kong

  • this is hitler's favorite movie. ;)

  • @lhabia really????

  • @lhabia LOL funny--NOT! This was not Adolf Hitler's favorite film, no. Tell us another one, why don't ya!

  • To the people who say it looks stupid: What the hell were you expecting? GCI?

  • so it's old...what's the problem??? think about it...someone will say the same thing about the movies of today. for it's time, king kong is awesome. it's like wine...getting better with age.

  • pretty good, man! congrats!!!

  • we can imagine peter jackson version after 80 year

  • this made me realize how close the newest one is to that one

  • @kilt41 lol you can get a good laugh out of it

  • jajajajajaajajajajajajajajajajajajaja

  • They humanize Kong too much in the remakes, and I don't care for having the girl develop feelings for Kong. King Kong is a story of unrequited love.

  • Great video.KING KONG 1933.THE STORY INSPIRES REMAKE AFTER REMAKE .EASILY ONE OF THE GREATEST FILMS EVER MADE.THANKYOU.

  • dude you did an excellent job with the editing of this. It's superb.

  • looks like toys

  • @juanitoperez34 they are

  • @AnthonyJameOudemolen They are NOT toys. They are puppets.

  • good movie, I really xan't stand people who say some movies suck just because they're devoid of colour

  • @kilt41 I Guess your right.

  • I know this was made in 1933 but still....it looks so fake!

  • @LABkatz Yeah, because CGI doesn't look so fake?

In 70 years people will be laughing at CGI calling it a "cartoon". Heck, some of us are already.

  • i like this kind of movies waaaay more then the (re- re- re re- )remakes

  • que bosta !!!

  • xDDD

  • Peter Jackson's King Kong is shit! This is the best

  • This is so fake...compared to now, of course.

  • 1:58 - 2:10 BEST :D

King Kong is such a good film.

  • wow the late 1930 was so fake king kong and the t-rex looked like toys

  • @Adrian41800 It is good to be from the 30s

  • @Adrian41800 Yeah, yeah, just keep making your shitty remakes of everything just because you can't even so much as make up your OWN shitty movies, which would of course be the shittiest of all. I don't think you have any room to criticize, you dumb little bumblefuck.

  • the remake was better it looks more realistic than this black and white piece of crap

  • @juanitoperez34 This is 1933 you retard.

  • @juanitoperez34 The script of '05 is quite poor, though. And it's overlong and over indulgent.

The SCREENPLAY is what makes a good film, not whether it's "cool" or not. I could care less if a movie is in black and white or color or looks "cool" in the eyes of kids. Do you think Alfred Hitchcock thought about thumb-sucking comic book nerds when he made his movies?

  • @Moseslawgiver lol im with you, im 15 and i LOVE alfred hitchcock

  • @Moseslawgiver I think Jackson's version was brilliant, and a lot of people agree.

  • @juanitoperez34 Piece of crap the original King Kong??!!!! oh my god youth today is more and more idiotic

  • @juanitoperez34 Heh, what are you, fourteen years old? I would have expected a better Comment from even the stupidest 31 year old. But I guess you've waaaay lowered the bar on stupid 31 year olds, eh! Wow, congrats! What an achievement!

I think it's you that's a big piece of crap, not the iconic Classic film. Get it straight, dickus! At 31 years old, you're a little overdue on that.

  • and remember...in 1933 the "movie-buiseness" was not so big like today, so they had less budget, especially for the special effects (and at that time they were an innovation and for the audience everything was beyond their expectations).

  • This is one of my favorite films of all time!!! I'm watching this right now on TCM.

  • Awesome job- you really made the film seem fresh and exciting in a contemporary way!!
