I really enjoyed this documentary. It was very educational and an eye opener. I like how there is a solid purpose for it other than recreational use and not having the support needed when doing these things. It is nice to listen to the other side of the spectrum of drugs.

I hate how these documentaries are always bias against the recreational use of these drugs. Just because it isn't curing a disease or trauma doesn't mean it can't help people. Hallucinogens can open your mind to ideas and wonder that honestly are not possible through conventional thought, and for people to point at and condemn the "users" for trying to live their lives as they see fit is disturbing. People don't have the right to deny someone's free will to choose and make their own decisions...

@GodlessGonads I don't see how it really was bias at all but maybe I'm blind to that.... I think it convey what was on the surface on both sides.
It wasn't anti drug, in my opinion.

@KeetyPooh it's not anti drug but it approaches every substance in the documentary like they have no purpose other than in controlled lab settings. they don't discuss the average "user" and only focus on the unique cases or programs that utilize these drugs in new ways. Apposed to all of the other Drugs inc. episodes where a huge deal of it's content is generated around the people who make sell and use the drugs.

@GodlessGonads Like you said, in all the others they focused on the average user. I don't think it was their intention to be bias, looking at NetGeo's past. They did show a few everyday people, maybe it was an odd setting but still...it focused on a man who was a heroin addict trying ibogaine,a mother who lost a child attempting to find clarity, and a old man who wanted to relieve his headaches... nothing to out of the ordinary. Maybe they couldn't get footage or were trying a new direction.

@GodlessGonads well said bro. im in that case too, opiates and dope are the best to kill the pain of my multiple broken spine with arthrosis, herniated discs, stenosis and other things. but the pharmalobby wants me to take 7 substances that cause serious side effects. im happy with oxycodone and dope for 7 years now. i dont need any antidepressants, muscle relaxiants or chemical bullshit. mother nature has got everything you need. no addiction, no side effects and no stoned because of lwo dose.

Look above, but what I said about it being mentally addictive just as food or gambling is....is true none the less. Anything that causes a chemical reaction like this has the potential to be addictive.
