  • Nice one!!!!! Have you gat a video of your new fish?????

  • @GearsOscar Tanganyikans tend not to be quite as hardy as Malawi so I don't ever feed them feeder fish due to the risk of disease and bloat plus they are not cheap or easily replaceable since just about every fish shop here in Jacksonville closed over the last few years. But I have another tank with some malawis in it that are still on the young side for feeder fish. One of these days I'll post a new video of my tanks as they appear now.

  • @Stingbaby01 you have no idea what you are doing!! malawis should be fed vegatable based foods no rift valley cichlids should be fed feeder fish!!

  • Are thay all africans???

  • @GearsOscar Yes they were mostly Malawi and some Tanganyikan African Cichlids. I was actually just testing my new digital camera when I made this clip and that was over 5 years ago. Most lived a long and healthy life but have all since perished and were replaced with just Tanganyikan Africans over time.

  • Why would you do that!? They dont eat feeders that is not their base diet-you only run the risk of them getting bloat. Plus the feeders have no health benefits. I could see using feeders for the larger American cichlids but not Mbuna.

  • feeder fish, the best way to get your fish exotic diseases.

  • your stupid they don't get sick if you have a feeder fish storage tank and treat them in that..oh wait you probably like those rosy red minnows but didn't want to say anything because it would have made you sound stupid... well I hate to say it but you sound pretty stupid ether way. I mean how can you not like seeing a stupid feeder fish get eaten by a cool fish. Well that is all I got to say to you dork

  • lol, you should look at what your typing... and feeder fish are one of the easiest ways to give your fish diseases though yes. if you keep your own feeder it is better than buying, and alot safer.. "if" you keep the conditions well maintained.

  • @AugustousKing I Feed My fish feeders sometimes(once a year) But if you call a fish stuoid thats sad they are actually very intellegent THUMBS DOWN FOR YOUUUUUUUUUUUU

  • @iCantTinkOfaGudName Ya I called a feeder fish stupid they are what do think they're cool and have a fifty gallon tank to keep them in

  • idiot

  • good clip and funny when the yellow malawi did not get a fish :P to slow xD

  • Fine Fishes, really.

  • big malakopitouras!! Yea man!!

  • the yellow 1 like didnt get any!

  • the yellow one shouldn't get any its an mbuna, an algae eater

  • I'm surprised that your c. moorii ate a guppy. I've had feeder guppies in my tank before but only the piscivores of the cichlids i had in there ate them.

  • We wish.

  • are u wild

  • tosser

  • what kind of fish are thos

  • exactly poor fish

  • are they all cichlids can you feed them flake or anything else ? how often do you feed them

  • lovely tank. i like the variety of fish u ahve, although the lab is vegetarian he will pursue if he is hungry engough. also the lab needs more of its own mates. lovely demasoni btw

  • do you need any money to buy some fish food? :)

  • stupid guy the yellow fish is an labidochomis caurealus and is a vegetarian fish.

  • Beautiful fish, what size is the tank and i like how the yellow lab was tryin so hard and every other fish kept stealing the feeders away from it :P

  • Try putting one minnow in and see if they chase it..

  • theyre rosy red minnows i belevie

  • Those were NOT Guppies.....more like pink feeder fish !

  • maybe mollies

  • poor fish

  • Wow very nice selection of fish. I really like your Orange Blotch and the dolphin lookin one (forget hte name) I just bought an orange blotch, take a loook at my tanks if you get the chance. tHANKS

  • Does it matter how big they are to feed them live fish?

  • i think soo..

  • it does. If it doesnt fit in thier mouth how?

  • team cichlid: one

    team guppy: zip

  • ROFL @ mckem. I suppose your one of the retards that believes santa clause goes around dropping cichlid pellets and tetramin flakes in all the lakes and rivers on his other 364 days eh? Fish LOVE live food. Its their nature. Get the hell over it.

  • wow they got destroyed...

  • those feeder fish better be heathly for your ciclids to eat if not your fish gonna eat diseases and be ill

  • That is awesome!

  • some of ur cichlids are not suited for live food especially the mubna they are more omivores but ur venestus and frontosa will love it! anyways how big is ur tank?

  • NICE CICHLIDS

  • Horrid person? mckem, take your sorry hippie ass someplace else. Don't watch if you don't like it. I don't like pathetic hippies, but I let you live, don't I? Get over yourself. Fish eat other fish. That's the world.

  • Freakin nuts! I Just recently got some cichlids. It's so fun watching them eat live fish.

  • allrite mate.

you probaby shudnt be feeding your malawis on guppies, it will probably give them bloat.

Just thought id mention it lol

    check out my malawi vid!

  • lol, thats cool but those arnt guppies.. those are minnows.. feeder guppies are smaller and usually gray.. and what you are feeding is minnows

  • haha, fish flake food is made from fish. what's the difference...damn fish hippies, I feed my Sciaenochromis ahli guppies all the time. Live food actually promotes the beautiful colors in the fish too

  • u people dont understand he is doing thhis beacause he wants his cilids to grow bigger i do this too trust me my fish r huge u should have another tank with guppies that r breeding

  • you horrid person, plus did you see how you putthe fish in the tank, ment to do it slowly not to cause stress to the pooor little things

  • haha, some of you people are so naive. Thanks for all your comments:)

  • well you are and you knwo it!

  • If feeding my fish "feeder guppies" makes me horrid, then ok. Thank you for your insight:)

  • Fuckin twat

  • Quelle connerie ce genre de vidéo, vous trouvez ça marrant de tuer des animaux puis de les filmer? On mettrai l'auteur de cette video dans une cage remplie de fauves, et on s'amuserait à le voir en train de se faire bouffer.

  • C'est la vie mon ami...once every few months they get guppies for dinner. It's a fact of life that fish eat fish.

  • I love watching that, I'm planning on starting a breeding tank so I can feed them to my oscar. I will feed him a fish if the fish has been over two weeks of isolation. Usually thats the best way to go about it.

  • man that was a slaughter fest XD

  • You do know most of cichlid fish from Tanganiyka and Malawi are actually herbiviours and theirfor feeding them fish won't do them any good. plus with live food you risk disease

    but I won't mention it's also cruel

  • Gotta love those african cichlids.

  • viscious little fuckers

  • How big is your tank? How many Cichilids do you have in there? How big are they? and how many can I put in a 55g aquarium?

  • It's a 75 gallon tank, and that tank was over crowded at the time with like 30 cichlids but I did weekly water changes. A 55g aquarium is minimal for most cichlids and there are so many variations of cichlids so it's hard to answer your question. Haps are going to get too big for a 55g. I have since sold most of those cichlids and converted my 75g strictly Tangyanikan cichlids, Altolamprologus compressiceps and a few other Tangyanikans.

  • What are those feeders? Are those all "monsters" tanganyika fishes? I can't see everyone so clearly because of a small video :D

  • There are some Tanganyikas but most are Malawi Haps...

  • It looks like it was filmed in fast motion.
