Are you aware that there are bits of the Space Zone secret level where you can drop down and get a 1-up? It's tricky though – if you misjudge where it is you have to go, you end up right at the bottom and have to walk through the rest of the level with nothing.

The visual change in Space Zone is that the moon has a sad face. It's Happy before unlocking the secret stage, angry when the star first crashes into it, and sad after completing the secret exit.

... and of course you then contradict what you said. In the beginning you said they refer to the exits, then you say they don't count, just the levels.

The '31' doesn't refer to the number of EXITS, but just the number of levels. For example in Tree Zone, you have the 5 normal exits, and the 6th secret stage. The game does NOT count the exit required to GET the secret stage, so it counts 6 instead of 7. There are actually 37 exits (from the 6 secret exits).

nice vid but you made a couple of mistakes. every level in this game is side-scrolling, there are 3 levels that are auto-scrolling. also the number on your file is the number of levels you've completed not the number of exits
