These Races in my view are better than the v8 super cars to watch because what other racing league can you have 3 wide at a hair pin or up to 5 wide on a main strait these cars are simply the best to watch because of the good close racing that goes down to driver ability not engineering or the rule book.
Yeah in that class you can't do any mods to the engine. The engines don't get to 11500rpm. Only about just over 10000rpm at bathurst. They run restricts so the engines don't blow up!
yes the the engines are fj yamaha 1200 only 125 hp. car weight is 450 kg thats why they fly.cams allow no engine moding thats keeps it nice and close. cool ha
Little? They're not little, they're V8 supercars xP They're allowed to do up everything on the engine, such as bore, cam shaft, valves, domed pistons, etc, but they're not allowed to add in extra parts such as turbos, superchargers, etc.
I know all about V8 Supercars mate, my favourite TC series in the world. ;) Those however, are not V8SC, they are Aussie Racers with VY, AU, FJ, or 40 Ford body shells on them, and our powered by motorcycle engines, I would know, I have family in the Legends car business, they thought about buying a VY bodyshell, until the race directors told them it was illegal in the states.

damm. i have just spent $25,000 plus car on a r33 gts-t for the track . should hAVE JUST SOLD IT AND BOUGHT ONE OF THESE.

the engines are built buy yamy just for ossie rc.rev limit is set to 11500 rpm.they hav alloy rods fitted but are prity much std.

i saw them at the Bathurst 1000.. Fast Lil things they are.. lol they way they take corners like as the guys driving em are on drugs lol
