A nice demonstration of the hybrid map feature as well as the smooth panning/scrolling.

Got mine and it works wonders. Compaing it to a Garmin, it's as accurate as the Garmin Colorado 400t (for geocaching). almost twice as accurate as the 60csx and about 4 times more accurate than my old Garmin 76 series.
My my Delorme has made an impression on me with this. Garmin needs to do some head scratchin on this. Garmins are nice, but who needs a fancy gadget that doesn't catch satallites well?

I've just acquired a PN 40. I'm at square one on how to use the device. Anyone in YouTube land want to make an instructional video for the novice user. Yes, I'm reding the manuel and reviewing the tutorial help files BUT a picture (video) is worth 1K words.

Don't believe everything you read friends. I bought one and other than the maps, it can't touch my old Brunton Multinavagator. It blows the Pn 40 away. Claims of haveing Google Earth in your hand is LOL funny. Not even close! Longtime to get a lock. My Multinavagator gets as many as 4-5 3D locks before PN 40 gets one. Rarely get a WASS lock with PN 40. Have had 4 months, and only about 6 WASS locks. Other than maps, it's mostly hype!!!

I left mine in the bathroom and had every satallite blue (Wass) and at max. freakishly great, but something I've never seen before. Keep in mind, this is indoors. Yours must be malfunctioning bad. I'd take it back and get it replaced asap.
