  • 1:00 - Falcon Kick!

  • Cusack is so sexy in this movie...wow, what a man...

  • Wow, for a liberal pussy, Cusack can throw some blows.

  • great movie, i want to meet cusack, he seems cool

  • anyone know what that song at the end is called?

  • @777Evol777 99 Lufballon.

  • @SaskueSucks thank you

  • "Thanks for the pen."

  • OMG, John Cusack killed Greg Kihn!

  • WHERE'S OUR BOY? WHERE'S OUR BOY?

  • Love the end "it's not me". Come round a corner and see a guy who's clearly been in a fight sat on someone dead, evidence of bleeding from the neck and he's holding a sharp object "it's not me" he says.

    Nice fight scene.

  • One the best fight scenes. The song choice perfects it.

  • chilling at my locker checking out my past.. *SUDDENLY WILD HITMAN APPEARS

  • 1:33 Pens! My only weakness! rofl

  • lol tht supposed to be gpssss

  • IN THE BATHROOM DING

  • Comment removed

  • "MEET HER IN THE BATHROOM" it's not "mirror in the bathroom".

  • @105sabot Fraid not the song is mirror in the bathroom by the Beat

  • @Vladd67 Right you are! I definitely commented without the facts. But, when you're wrong you're wrong, right?

  • @105sabot It's mirror in the bathroom, watch the clip

  • @Vishonov I know. I found that out about a month ago, I already admitted that I was wrong. But, yeah, I was definitely wrong. :)

  • @105sabot no its mirror

  • @switch67 I know. I"ve already recognized that I was wrong. Thanks! :)

  • Yeah Cusack is a very impressive martial artist, he is a pretty good athlete, that transfers well

that and he is a moody bastard

  • @jack11643 yeah hes trained with benny and don the dragon, if you look closely in say anything that guy who drops cusak in the gym is don the dragon wilson.

  • I hate it when you're at a reunion and Benny "The Jet" Urquidez just jumps out at you and it's on ......

  • "Mirror in the Bathroom," followed by 99 luft baloons....lolololol forever

  • Comment removed

  • Que Nena 99 luftballoons

  • love this scene. what a song

  • I never get tired of thsi fight scene. Such a huge fan of Benny The Jet growing up and had the fortune to take a private lesson with him a fwe years back. Cussack is a pretty solid kickboxer himself off screen. Love the reflective drill by Benny The Jet in this scene as well. If The Jet were young enough to be around for MMA? He'd be right up there on top with the Frankie edgars and Gil Melendez's of the world

  • @GuardianAngel5150 100% right my friend, Benny was a true pioneer and still has so much to offer. I too love this scene, has it all, one of the best. All the ranges and feints as well.

  • Comment removed

  • gotta love that kick at 1.00 !

  • @dingo976 Cusack is an actual martial artist. I thought he had done the training just for the scene but the guy knows what he's doing. Dont think I'd want to fight him.

  • My sensei actually trained with Benny Urquidez and I am stoked that this is the stuff that I could do with kickboxing.

  • AWESOME movie and an AWESOME fight scene. I would have never seen this movie back in 96 if a friend of mine wouldn't have told me how good it was. Definitely a movie to own if you like the 80's, dark comedies, assassins, shoot outs and fight scenes. Nice talk sugar mouth.

  • This was actually a pretty intense fight.

  • POPCORN !

    -CRASH-

    ZZzzzZzzT...

  • You're a handsome devil, what's your name?

  • the guy cusack is fighting is an actual martial arts champ! in his hay-day he fought jackie chan in one of the greatest fight scenes ever.

  • @jango421 he's cusack's personal fighting trainer too

  • aww! when he looks happy about opening the locker, i just melt.. =)))

  • DAMN! John Cusack's for real!

  • Good movie... great fight scene

  • This movie, Rush Hour and Undercover Brother had the best fight scenes in a action comedy film

  • Looks like Lloyd put Diane's pen to good use :p

  • I like how it makes a noise like a sword being unsheathed when he takes the cap off of that pen.

  • I love this fight scene! Benny 'The Jet' Urquidez is a bad a** fighter! He's won so many championships! Great scene!

  • At about 1:07 I forgot who the protagonist was and started rooting for Benny the Jet.

  • this is a pretty badass fight sequence. staged much better than the new james bond and bourne movies

  • what is the name of the song that starts to play right after the fight?

  • @RogueWarrior1975 99 Luft Balloons

  • Lloyd Dobler kicks ass.

  • @Wammoblammo This really IS Lloyd Dobler 10 years later.

  • the look of relief/regret on cusacks face when he kills the jet is amazing. not many actors can do that, the little things that only last seconds but lay foundations to last throughout eternity.

that and a really good fight scene.

  • That is the best fight scene in film. It's not the longest, nor the flashiest, but it is the most realistic. They start off all badass kicks and sweeps and then they get tired. How many other fights show the opponents actually sweating?

  • @barkon You obviously haven't seen too many fight scenes.

  • Don't mess with Mista Cusack. Getcha ass kicked. :P

  • Benny the Jet Urquidez!

  • Benny "The Jet" Urquidez at his finest, but you know, it was John Cusacks movie soo he had to die, great fight scene, definitely.

  • Then he goes back into the hall and thanks the guy for the pen! hahahaha

  • WTF, the "99 Luftballons" is in the original as well!? I thought they added that just for the german release ... so the song was huge in the US as well?

  • @Puschit1 Yeah that song was one of the most popular songs of the 80's here in the states. It's funny you say that cuz I never would have thought this movie to be released in Germany. It's barely popular here.

  • @bigstabby

Really? IMDb says american voters gave it a 7,5 on average.

  • @Puschit1 Yeah it has a good rating from the people who watched it, but those people are very few. Not too many people know about this movie. But everyone who watches agrees it's great. Frankly, I'm shocked it's not higher than 7.5

  • @Puschit1 We traded Hasselhoff to you guys for 99 red balloons. I stand by that trade.

  • @l8mrblonde8l

Haha, lol, it was a good trade for you looking at it now ...

  • 1:14 That was in Wheels on Meals.

  • Great fight scene...

  • for real, one one the best fight scenes ever.

  • great fight seen

  • awesome choreographed fight scene, and this movie's a comedy! No really, it is!

  • Cusack is a killer. I was trained by a trainer at "the Jet center. Benny doesn't hand out belts easy. Cusack has 20 yrs of training to get that high. For those who care, Cusack might be opening a new Dojo with benny and bankrolling the whole thing.

  • @ThePiranhaman

Yeah, Jet's the man. Trained with him in Paradise CA in the Summer camp seminar he was at a few years back. He's got such a wealth of knowledge with striking and coaching and fighting overall.

    True Martial Artist, true warrior.

  • Said it before and I'll say it again....Benny? The best there was, is, and ever will be...........PERIOD

  • damn i didnt realise benny was in this movie, i gotta re-watch this.

  • Cusack is a sixth degree black belt. this is an awesome fight scene! XD

  • What an asshole! Just breaks into someones locker and destroys a joint!

What kind of a monster does that.

  • @DrDot it's his old locker, i thought since he removes a panel to get it that maybe it was his old one.

  • @DrDot that's his old locker and he pulls out a joint he hid there like 10 years ago

  • God, I love that film

  • Is that a joint?

  • @TheGreaterGood80

    Of course

  • Hard to find fighters like Benny "The Jet" nowadays! One of my favorite scenes! If Benny was in his prime today? HOly Lord!

  • does somebody know the name of the song when they are fighting the first time and the boy has the headphones in the shop?

  • @fluido82 ace of spades by motorhead its really hard find that song on here cause youtube deltes it

  • @TheVgstudio thank you.

  • Thanks for the pen...

  • I wonder how long it took them to film this scene. It's great!

  • this is one of the best fight scenes in a movie ever made

  • love the 20 yr old joint he finds. lol

  • @guidomith

They are at their 10 year high school reunion.

  • @jc790 Ok...love the 10 year old joint he finds *eye roll*

  • I've been watching chinese kung fu movies for ages (I'm asian so) and I often cringe whenever I see americans trying to fight (like steven siegel). But I find John quite good in his fight scenes. It does show that he knows what he's doing. He definitely could kick my ass!

  • @minily I think you should watch Steven Seagal's "Above the Law" and his earlier 80's movies (hard to Kill, Out for Justice).. Seagal trained in Aikido at the Hombu Dojo in Shinjuku. Don't be fooled by the exaggerated fanboy hate on Seagal. I've learned karate and bokken training so it's easy for me to discern which fight scenes are just prolonged for suspense.

by the way, this fight scene between Cusack and Benny is very realistic. thanks for posting

  • @minily I'd kick your ass for 4 reasons: 1)Putting down us Brave Americans the best in the world,2)Mentioning Seagull's name in vain3)For being "Asian"4)for watching too many Kung Fu films when you could be making love.Your ass is mine.

  • @RasMajnouni - Okay, first, fuck you. And 2nd, here's my answer. 1) I'm not putting down Americans in general since I have commented on how good John Cusack's skills are and I think he's American. So, maybe you're the one projecting your own insecurity about your nationality. 2) Seagal was just an example from the top of my head. Kronos251 was civilized enough to explain how he thinks I'm wrong and it did change my view on Seagal. What's your argument. You'd kick my ass... um... try again later.

  • @RasMajnouni - 3) You fucking racist. 4) I may watch kung fu movies, but I don't go out kicking people's ass or threatening others to kick their ass because they said something I don't agree with. So... who's not making love here between you and me?

  • @minily /I was bored, only happened on this scene.I'm not American,I normally don't watch Kung Fu since I don't lie violence.Seagull?Who cares?"Asian"?A a name in general of people who spend time on seeking a very good education.I just picked on your comment and said the opposite.I'm sorry & I apologize to you.

  • @RasMajnouni - Apology accepted. I don't watch kung fu movies because it's violent. I watch them because kung fu to me is like a dance such as tai chi, one of my favorite style. Anyway, I think it was only a misinterpretation of comments. It's already forgotten.

  • cusack is a 6th degree black belt under benny urquidez so ya hes pretty darn good!

  • i love this movie!!! it's perfect

  • This happened in War Inc. too. :] He was fighting a group of people to Blue Danube and Marisa Tomei and Hillary Duff walk in on him terrified and run. lol

  • this is a fucking brilliant film.....if you like this then go see Repo Man with Emile Estivez. Another great cult classic

  • Great scene; great movie!

  • @egkg75 its a great film, why would you waste your life watching somthing you dont like you sad little person

  • You reveal your own ignorance by talking, how am I suppose to know if I like it or not if I don't watch it.

  • @egkg75 first of all, talking is verbal (moron). secondly when i said "something" i'm not reffering to the film but to this video, you watched the film, didn't like it and then watched youtube videos about it despite the fact you didn't like it (thats the sad part).

  • @iliketha I was voicing my opinion about the film, maybe someone who didn't see it would see my comment and take heed, you are a moronic anal sweat gland but what else would I expect from someone if they are a person who thought this was a great film and of course I know what talking is you dolt, I was referring it in a matter of communicating again you just reveal your own ignorance by your idiotic comment

  • @egkg75 i'm assuming from that comment that your first language isn't english or you're no older than 6, either way that might explain why you didn't get much out of the film.

    to reiterate my point:

Q: why would you watch this youtube video if you dont like the film?

A: 'cos you have nothing better to do. That is sad, therefore YOU are sad. that's all i was saying :)

  • @iliketha I'm not going back and forth over same topic. I tell you what you win, I have no life, I'm a moron, I'm stupid, I'm whatever you want to say congratulations tah-dahhhh you win, infact this is my last youtube comment since I can't voice my opinion, I'm sooooooo sorry for saying this film stunk, it is actually the greatest film ever, I'm done arguing so don't bother commenting this, but if you do I promise I will not reply I've seen the light hallelujah

  • @egkg75 i feel kinda guilty for breaking your spirit

  • now thats a fight! his reactions are just spot on (smak kik smak kik dodge smak), not to mention his face when he kills the guy with a pen, just great acting! cusack is awsome.

  • @LeegroyTheLemur its quite fitting, seeing as the lyrics talk about "crimes of self defense"

  • Leegroy: Are you kidding?? That song was perfect!

  • benny the jet is fucking awesome....type in Benny "the jet" Urquidez V.s Jackie Chan...next to a Bruce Lee fight scene, this is probably the best

  • The pen part reminds me of the movie Casino. lol

  • LOL. "You hear a little girl, Sammy? You hear a little fuckin' girl?!"

  • Watch "War, Inc" as it is also co-produced & written by John Cousack and is called by critics as the spiritual Grosse Pointe Blank II. Hilary Duff is hilarious, yet compelling as an arabic pop singer. Classic cult film not to miss!

  • because after t4en years the blunt must be old as shit lmfoa

would you still smoke it ?

  • I consider myself a film fight sequence connoisseur, and this one is my all time favorite. I love the music and the intensity.

  • mine too, I like how unpolished it is, filmed in real time, how a full contact fight to the death between two pros would look in real life

  • Why does he tear up the joint?

  • "Its not me." "A killer that doesnt kill. " One can kill and still be at peace with himself. The fight is internal not external.

  • @ShotoKanShadow Wow. Man that was deep.

    I totally concur!

  • One of the very best scenes in one of my favourite films. God, everything is perfect, the choreography, the music... and christ how Cusack and his insane kicks there turn me on!

  • Best side kick on film........ever. God I feel the impact everytime I watch. lol

  • when is the supposed sequel coming out?

  • this is one of the best fight scenes in a film ive seen if anyone knows better just point me to them!

  • Jackie Chan vs Benny Urquidez in "Dragons forever"... Jackie vs Benny Urquidez in "Wheels on Meals". (The bad guy in this scene is Benny Urquidez... Don't know if you knew)

  • its not me:)

  • Weapon - sorry - typo:)

  • l've learned so much from this video...

1st. A pen can be a lethal wepon sometimes...

2nd. You look cooler if you fight wearing a suit...

3rd. The vocalist of Hoobastank looks just like John Cusack...

  • LOL100% right!

  • it's not The English Beat. It's The Beat. full stop.

  • The "Dumping the body" scene was hilarious as well.

  • Best scene in the whole movie!! love it!

  • The only words are "its not me"

OK. were did he go wrong

maybe "he started it" wouldove been better

    or i slipped

well Good scene Benny got pwned lol

  • pwned? He fuckin kileld....

  • Ultimate pwnage, yes. :)

  • ha red ballons plays next!

love this film! need to buy it!

  • it's not me !!!!

hey i would like to see the whole of the movie !!

  • great scene!

  • Ofcourse it's not you.

    LOL. ;D

  • One of the most awesome fight scenes ever. It's so close range and Cusack and Urquidez kick seven kinds of crap out of each other, they are both totally badass in this!

  • i love this scene because it's so believable, it wouldn't surprise me if they were actually hitting each other between 50-60% of full power.( Cusack trained with Benny for awhile)

  • Benny the jet

  • "Its not me."

  • welcome pointer!

  • "It's not me."

    lol

    Great scene.

  • the beat

  • In this scene 1:00 Cusack delivers one of the greatest sidekicks in film.

  • Cusack has great kickboxing, even in his shitty movies they genrally showcase his cat like agility.

Benny of course is a meathead and a great fighter, he's unbeaten ffs.

  • like the movie and goto say pretty good fight scene for a movie, i know benny is well trained seemd like cusack was as well

  • ..."hast Du etwas Zeit für mich, dann singe ich ein Lied für Dich von 99 Luftballons auf ihrem Weg zum Horizont"...the following song is also kinda nice. And funny in the context.

  • Good song, good fight, great film.

  • mirror in the bathroom is fuckin immpossible to domwnload

  • dude, if you want the song just send me a message w your email.

  • Umm okay never thought I'd see a world karate champion Benny The Jet Urquidez fight John Cussack but there you have it. I think Thanks to Benny we have one of the most down to earth fight scenes in cinema. If you want the other end of the spectrum look for bennys' fight with jackie chan at in dragons forever or wheels on meals

  • Cusack is an avid kickboxer. One of the things that make him such an intriguing personality and actor is the fact that he has SO many layers and is always full of surprises.

  • I saw this when i was 17 and it was the thing that got me into kickboxing, Its an awesome scene especially John Cusacks double roundhouse

  • I love this scene. The fact that a reasonably realistic fight scene turned up in a COMEDY, of all places, is what really makes me laugh. The only bit I dislike is the high kicks, but that's probably just me.

  • hey does anyone know which is the sence when Martin proposes to Debbie? is there a vidoe of it?

  • towards the end where she is in the bathtub and he just killed dan akroyd.

  • Who else noticed the poster hanging there - THE FUTURE IS UNWRITTEN. Ten years later, this was the name of the Joe Strummer bio/film (and Strummer did the score for GPB)...thought that was pretty cool!

  • benny taught john

  • I sell houses Martin. What do you do?

  • it dosent even looked choregraphed... right now i realy wonder if it is... it feels so real how they land the hits n stuff. What feels even more real is how they dont land them! like at 0:54 when cussack misses his elbow strike just because the other MEANIE put a distance at the right time.

great movie...guys.. remember the TV? 8D

  • its benny the jet, hes an awesome fighter/choreographer. no doubt it looks very realistic.

    "POPCORN!"

  • Wait...This is a comedy?
