  • a board utilising an i7 with a IDE slot.. O.o

  • Kinda a old video now but anyways i love that dark chrome look

  • nice set up!

  • if you have so much money, why not spend some on water cooling... does the job better -.-

  • @roflpies More maintainence.

  • this cooler is only for 1366?

  • @itsmeadrian1234 Its for a wide array of chips. Look this product up on there site and see if your motherboard and chip is compatiable.

  • wow that's a very expensive rig, what is the brand of power supply did you use for sli?

  • Bad wire management is bad. lol

  • Your computer. It's a beast. O_O

  • You need some GentleTyphoons up in that bitch haha

  • install the fan on the other side!

  • Is the GPU core supposed to shine like that after you've applied the thermal paste. Example: 02:56

  • @PR0DIGY09 yes, that is very normal, I have changed the thermal compound on my graphics card and it was as shiny as this one (even more actually). Basically, all chips are made like that, even if you check an Intel processor chip (not the whole thing) you will probably see the same.

To the poster of this video: I think you should clean off the cores on your GPUs a bit better, there were some residue left and that could negatively impact the temperatures. You still got better temps though, gratz

  • @PR0DIGY09 after you removed the thermal paste

  • Nice I see you are making use of your CPU now.

  • how are your temps in cpu? idle and load? does this cooler cool enough? I have my i7 950 and load temp is about 80°C I use Noctua NH-U12P.

  • 80c load with that cooler?? u must be at least 4.0ghz then lol

  • Nope I was only at 3,5 GHz. This cooler just sucks.

  • it is almost as good as a TRUE.

  • I have my i7 920 at 3.8 ghz and I get a max load temp of about 55C. usually it sits around 30 or 35. I roll with a vigor monsoon III lt. best cpu cooler out there with dual 120mm fans and thermoelectric regulation. only 50 bucks on newegg

  • A more neater cable mgt would be more better, especially around the 2 GFx cards area. CPU fan cable - 'FAIL', coulda tuck it away behind the Mobos. Question; PSU fan placement - Fan facing down or facing up, which one is better? (regardless of cooling)

  • The question is a good one. PSU fan must pull air from inside the case, and finally push this air quantity out of the PSUs grills in the back of the case. As I see, in this PC case, he can not put the PSUs fan downwards, because it simply can not suck air in such a closed small distance. Besides, PSUs position is designed to fit the case in a specific way. In this video, PSU is neighburing VGA fan, but VGA fan also sucks air and drain this air out of the case from the back side. It doesn't throw

  • it doesn't throw the hot air from the VGA card towards the PSUs fan, so the PSU's fan is ok to be the way it is. In general, cold air is going down, and hot air is going up (also in our room), also inside the case, except if it's strongly driven by fans. Case fans which are placed in lower positions and bring cold air inside the case really help.

  • Thks bro. I will try to flip over the PSU with the fan facing up and see how my overall case temps fair.

  • i wish i knew enough bout upgrading hardware to do tht coz i open my pc unplugged it and everything when i booted up came up with loadin screen for like 6 mins so i turn it off then on and it came up with windows repair or windows startup

  • Nice Case and everyhting but plz give the cooler of the cpu another color i hate that color paint it black :p

  • i got the same processor..

    Intel Core i7

    and 8 GB Ram : )

    nice video

  • does it run cool ?

  • it not as normal as a cpu cooler though =|

it's big as my fist or bigger , and you might need a black back up shield for the mobo

  • you may want to work on cable management, the airflow in your Antec 1200 looks crippled by all those wires

  • that doesnt look black it looks silver :/

  • Its like a dark titanium color I love it. I have the dark knight same color this one is better though

  • i got my thermalright true black right here in my hand and it looks alot blacker lol

with bright light on it its more like a mirror effect so its probably just the lighting in his room....

  • isnt the motherboard gonna fry?? how many graphic cards do u want??

  • other than he cooling and duel cards that's basicaly same as my pc ... same processer case and everything lol

  • Man! never put a motherboard on a towel you crazy man!

  • lol its gonna explode OMG lol

  • luv the thermalright cooler but cant they change the color of the fan or a led fan something to make it look nice .

  • omfg my NVIDIA GeForce gtx 295 is BIG like my keyboard o_O

  • say how many degrees you have with the new cooler?

  • Comment removed

  • do you get fan with it or you need to buy it???

  • im 90% sure u need to buy it

  • You need to buy it, Got mine yesterday! ordered thermalright true 120, and then 1366 backplate and two fans! very silent

  • very good tower man. keep it on!

  • Looks nice, but do you have any plans for cable management? I was oohing and ahhing until i saw it in the case lol

  • Music??

  • read : more info !!!

  • Hey would 2x NF-P12 and true 120

out perform scythe fans and what the temp?

  • scyther fans have more airflow.

the NF-P12 is dead silent, thats its only plus (but a big one).

  • nice videos, nice rig, nice music!, what camera are you using to film?

  • Nice vid, but cable management? :D

  • I used rubber bands to hold my fan onto the heatsink because the damn clips were too complicated lol.

  • whaat? they're really easy to mount! practice makes perfect.....try again ;D

  • Try Prolimatech Megahalem HSF, a much better than TRUE Black..

Running i7 920 @ 4,2Ghz very stabil.. With Megahalem it's no sweat!!! Even sometimes better than Water Cooled pre-build complete set

  • What kind of temps are you getting on the CPU with the TRUE 120???, thx, nice vid btw

  • Darn it seems I'm begining to fall behind on these things... Could anyone provide me with the name of that case, as well as ATis latest dual core card? Also, my first card was an ATI... Long time ago. I since have been using nVidia. However, it seems ATi is getting back to being at the top once more. What do you guys think, ATi or nVidia for my next build?

  • The case is Antec 1200. And at the moment Nvidia has the best card. The 295 GTX

  • Thanks mate!

  • 295 has micro stuttering, go for tri-sli or sli GTX 285's.

3 GTX 285's beat out 2 GTX 295's in benches and games.

  • Ya know, I did search around and saw that they can be in fact be configured for tri-SLi, which I must admit gave me a hardon. Sheesh I bet I could direct a 3D film with 3 of these babes and a Ci7 CPU with like 12GBs of DDR3. Sweeeeeet. My next rig will have enough juice to take me to the future and back. I just hope the future is full of hot anime girls...and The Matrix is real.

  • ^.^ What the hell is wrong with you!! LOL!!! Thats a funny comment!!!

  • gtx 295 don't got microstrutter lol.

  • someone has money lol

  • why dont you use both of the fans on your heat sync

  • sink.

  • Normally, I would buy bigger and better heat sinks in order to eliminate the fans inside my machine. I can't stand hearing those things. Liquid cooling is still rather expensive and unsafe for the average user.

  • you are rich, this is ridiculous...

  • @IR0BI Its only $60 for this cooler its not to expensive.

  • nice build ;)

  • Very nice! Question, I have some silicon base heat sink compound, but which is a better thermal compound? silicon? ceramique? or the silver based? Also, what can I use to clean the residue of the previous thermal compouns of my processor?

  • ceramipue and silver will sure do better than silicon, but they are a bit more expensive. i'm using something called "Arcticlean" to clean off my cpu and stuff, works pretty well.

  • what temps are you getting compared to the stock cooler?? Nice build by the way! keep up the great work

  • every video I watch has techno... can I kill who ever invented echno plz

  • Duddeeee that pink fan killed it!

  • Comment removed

  • Those are the most quiet fans on the market. They are from Noctua.

  • Thats one of the best 120mm fans out on the market, he made his pc better.

  • hmmm 2 4870 x2's, not crazy at all!

  • Nice Pink Fan :)

  • i would so put 2 fans on that heat sink and how do the 4870x2s run?

  • should have bought a zalman they rock man but this cooler is sick to. great vid

  • I like Zalmans but they do not come close to the performance of the Thermalright coolers.

  • gj omule:P

  • Good choice on cooler man. You should Overclock that thing more man. My 920 runs 4.0ghz as an everyday OC. I use a Thermalright IFX14. I have dual x2's as well and have seen the a difference between 3.2 to 3.8. Usually another 5 to 10 fps with most games.

  • you should really put up a video of your "920 at 4ghz."

  • Is a 880W psu enough?

  • i have the same cooler and its rock

  • not only the nice antec 1200, (i have the 900), but nice HEATSINK, but nice HEATSINK 10/10 video

  • nice!!! I know you have good taste cause you have the antec 1200 ;)

  • you think one 4870 X2 would be enough. : )

  • cuanta pasta en un PC xdd regalamelo jaja

  • ahem ahem... GOT MONEY!!! ;P

  • Nice rig! I'm jealous for sure.

  • what kind of metal is that?

does it run cooler than copper?

  • dude how much mony did you spend on that rig. it's awsome 8D...

  • rofl...how do u fit that thing in ur case O_o

  • You have The true black...i have the true copper!!!

  • Hey Gamerro25 if your getting Idling temps of 70*C on your GPUs I would highly recommend turning the heatsink fan speed up in the catalyst control center. Its well known that these cards run insanely hot with stock air-cooling and the factory fan speed for these heatsinks is only 20%.

  • de pe ce site cumperi? da-mi un pm sau scrie aici ,ms

  • ok thank u

  • Great video, awesome in High Definition. How does it perform?

  • gameerro how i change the "Intel® Quick Path Interconnect Speed" from 4.8 to 6.4 like a i7 extreme?is it possible?

  • you can not change the : "Intel® Quick Path Interconnect Speed" but don`t worry that is just marketing. you will not see any differences in real "life' with 6.4 against 4.8

    940 2.93 ghz = 18000 mb/s

    965 3.2 ghz = 26000 mb/s in theory

    my 940 3,2ghz = over 20000 mb/s

  • That's the same cooling I'm going for with two fans looks like it will just fit in the case my side fan will throw in some air over the top so it should do a nice job good vid.

  • u oc it by bios or turboV? i have i7920 ,it's at 2.93 ghz like i7940 with triton81, u should try it, very nice for oc

  • in bios i change the "fsb" from 133 to 145 = 3.2ghz

  • you should try ocing it wayyyy more

  • i think that was better akasa? isn't it?

  • NO this one is much better !! and also it is with screws who make it more stable !!

  • sal, de pe ce site cumperi componentele? ms

  • wtf you have both gainward and palit 4870x2's in Crossfire???

  • Same cards, but different company's that sell them.

  • so?

  • link 2 camera thx =D

  • This is pure mad overkill, all you fools that buy this stuff have not a single smart cell in your heads. way overpriced junk and for what, an extra 10fps lol! daylight robbery and although i can afford this if i wanted it, i wouldnt buy it , heck, even if i had millions, i still wouldnt buy such overpriced shit.

  • Why don't you post a video of your system and see what kind of ignorant comments you get on it. Is it so hard to believe that everyone is different?

  • latest Panasonic HD

  • nice mate :D

  • my Visiontek 4870 has great paste actually...

    nice vid tho

  • Really sweet system man. Love the look of the True black 120, too bad it doesn't perform better then the ultra extreme 120. Keep it up with the HD vids!

  • The Thermalright TRUE Black 120 looks really awesome

  • Make a vid of changing the thermal paste on 4870 x2, im thinking of changing it, but yeah want to make sure i will do it right..

And damn i need one of these lga 1366 coolers.

We don't have any here in Estonia ))

  • ok when i posted this i haven't watch the full video :D thanks.

  • you can order online everything you want . It is cheap if you order inside EU . You have to change your thermalpaste it really works ! I can give you a site if you like, i order some stuff from there.

  • Yeah, pm me the site ))
