Nobody knows the reason of big bang I know Action when God compressed the whole Universe into his palm scientists named singular point And action when God opened his palm scientists named Big Bang # Dark Energy may be Vacuum ww eurekalert. org / pub releases /2007 – 01 uoc – dem 011607.php
The universe expanding acceleration is at its maximum rate …hmm … Its matter of time before the acceleration vector rotate 180 degrees to point towards our solar system … and with no time …the universe contracts and shrinks back to the point of origin. Those bold scientists won't find enough time to publish that as a new theory because it will be the Judgment Day O_O
Where are all the Arab Atheists? Arab Agnostics? Do they speak out against Islam? They were raised in Islamic cultures, so they know all its weak spots, its irrationality and stupidity of blind faith in fabricated Allah.
if it does indeed expan, why would it freeze over time. wouldnt the fabric of time and space be disrupted do to the graviational field of the sun holding the core of the universe in place?? unless the sun explodes and then cause the gravitational pull to dissapear, then maybe then it would eventually freeze up. but even still if our technology can detect this even upon proven theory, where exactly do we stand in between this, how does this effect us at all, yeah we know but what now??
these people are getting nobel prize for something already known to us by our creator 1400 yrs ago. (The Qur'an, 51:47) "And it is We, who have constructed the heaven with might, and verily, it is We, who are steadily expanding it."
@daisy26000 Even if we give you that. Universe is not expanding steadily, so quran was wrong. And quran wasn't the first book to talk about this.
But verses are not describing universe, verses 51:47-48 describe the creation of heaven (not universe) and how it was build vast, and then the creation of Earth.
Amazing, isn't it, how ambiguous translations of phrases can delude so many people.
Go read up on the various translations of that Ayah for "teh lulz" -- "obviously" implies expansion even though that word, or those synonymous, aren't used until well after Edwin Hubble establishes some of the first visible proofs for expansion (redshift-blue shift). Coincidence? No, of course not; chicanery. You'd think if it was true, the book would be less spurious and equivocating.
I am not a scientist but this theory is confusing.
1) How can you measure the expansion of the universe if you don't know the volume of the universe?
2) How can it be true that there is only one big bang? It starts with an item then a nucleolus->element->planet->starts->galaxies->universe-> but what about the void?
3) We are all part of one big exlosion(big bang) may be there will be billions of big bangs with billions of galaxies billions of light years away from us?
"Dark Energy" is in fact the electromagnetic propetyof the Universe. The universe is electrical and main stream science is blind as they worship the gods of gravity!
in order for this theory to be correct everything would be moving away from everything else...this is not the case as is proven by the fact that galaxies collide
And that's where factors -- expansion, weak interaction, gravity itself, etc. -- offer variability. Gravity is said to be the weakest of the four fundamental forces, yes?

@justonemorename Yeah you out up a good point but those galaxies that are colliding, are colliding because of other issues.Maybe their moving too closer to each other and the universe isnt spreading enough to stop them.
@selfsenter Thanks for the translation. But, that's all? As I called it, it is a reverse engineering. Any details? Anything in the Quran which was written in the 7th century that completely supersedes the knowledge of later physicists in the 20th century like Slipher and Hubble? Einstein and Wineberg?
Tell me. I am so interested. How exactly is it stated in the Quran that envisaged the expansion of the universe? How is evolution explained? Dark matter? Dark energy? Entropic heat death?
The Quran is not a book of science nor was it meant to be but it does encourage humans to explore what is available.
What is explained is not detailed and i do not expect it to be since it was given to ancient people who would otherwise think its rubbish had it been filled with complex descriptions. Everything regarding science was simplified.
Other than the expansion , the separation of water bodies(Seas/Lakes) , mountains having roots and many others affirm my faith.
@selfsenter If it does not explain the details of the expansion of the universe, how dare you claim that "Quran already said the universe is constantly expanding"? As if the book was a basis of truth or something.
You are free to have the faith of your choice, as much as I am entitled to my own which is no faith.
But if you claim that any part of your religious teachings has a scientific value, you have the duty to provide evidence. Religion including Islam has made such baseless claims.
@selfsenter You claimed it without any concrete evidence. All you did was quote a book of fiction. You cannot just assert that Quran has scientific value without justification.
>God gave us a mind to figure out what he did and we have a duty to break down and explain everything available to us but he does not have to.
Here, you are talking as though "God" was an a priori existence while in fact there is not a shred of evidence for it. You can't use God as a premise to back up any argument.
also evolution is explained in islam but very briefly , that we humans did evolve but from other forms of humans. Different sizes and structure but not reaching as far as the monkey sequence.
I wont claim everything is explained , and i dont expect everything to be explained. We have a mind of our own to think and figure out the mechanics of the world.
The point of these scattered albeit vague quotes of scientific facts is not to explain life.
@selfsenter Evolution is NOT explained in Islam. What is this? A joke? Muslims believe that humans come from Adam? Does Islam not teach you that the age of the universe is some 6000 or 10000 years old?
Unless there are verses in the Quran that explains in detail of the theory of evolution, such as DNA sequential differences among species etc, Quran is no basis for anything in science.
The "scattered albeit vague quotes" can be conveniently interpreted by its adherants. It does not count.
And that's its mystery. You are arguing with me over reverse engineering a quote but i am telling you will you stand back for a minute and take a look at the quote.
Its not talking about will fire burn you or is this food poisonous or not
The quote is addressing issues of plate tectonics, space expansion, the invisible sea barriers & i'm supposed to believe a goat herder in the desert who could not write made it all up while it hits me in the face with a dose it factual reality
@selfsenter You have the right to believe in anything. But you need to keep it to yourselves. At least in the scientific search for knowledge, religion must be ejected and has been for quite some time.
I have read the Quran and Hadiths and realize that these are all cheap plagiarism of the old and new Testaments. Mohamed was an epileptic, illiterate merchant in the dessert who thought he heard something in his head. Nothing in Islam has any "factual reality" at all.
@fastballonly Yet he clearly says That Theories always Developing & that Their a Dark Energy THAT THEY DONT UNDERSTAND. So where is the proof?? So ur saying basically whatever you cannot see its not FACT! Can u see air? Can u see Gravity? Science Only explains What Humans can understand. Dont be ignorant. Pharaohs Have been better at Science & astrology Then we could ever be IN todays era. How do u Build a Pyramid without Advance equipment TODAY we SOLEY RELY ON? Think! ANSWER ISNT GOD EITHER!
@fastballonly yes indeed but it does not have an evidence, because Al-Qur'an is a book of SIGNS not SCIENCE. It is totally different thing. It is supposedly to be one of the signs of the existence of God. So God says this and if that thing is true it means God exists and that religion is the right one. Well it is a pretty shallow argument but that's all I can put it in comment section.
@pluz93 Quran is a work of literature, even though it is plagiarized from the old and new Testaments. It must stay away from science because it claims to be the final and unalterable word of God. That is not the way to approach the truth in science.
Science is a pursuit of the truth, whatever it maybe. It is always open to new possibilities and willing to make revisions, unlike religion.
@fastballonly Yes but you can't deny the fact that Qur'an gives out the fact that the universe is expanding. So the Qur'an gives out facts, which this case cannot be denied nor revised nor open to new possibilities as you said earlier. Also you said it was copied from OT and NT, could you show me which verse in the OT or NT it was from and the Qur'anic verse it relates to?
@amolrsagar@amolrsagar if you want to know more, search answering christianity in google to find the website, it is under the scientific miracles and judge it for yourself. The website's author use 7 or more arabic dictionaries and real life examples to prove the claims.
@pluz93 Let's suppose that the quran says that the universe is expanding. Does it also say that the velocity of expansion is faster, the farther the stars or galaxies are?
It is all reverse engineering. I guarantee you that. I have read the quran, the English translation. I don't think it called anything that man later learned thanks to science to be facts of this universe.
How dare you expect me to buy anything out of a book of fiction.
@MrAlmuazzin - The notion of an expanding universe was known to Buddha a long long time before Allah told y'all 1400 years ago. Buddha figured that out like uuum, almost 900 years before it was "revealed" to Muslims. BTW, you need to learn how to spell Qur'an. I dunno, maybe you were just being lazy or got stuck on glorious. You did manage to spell glorious correctly though. Yay for you. If nothing else, it proves you are not a total moron.
How the ....... did they figure this out??? I mean we still haven’t discovered the entire earth and now I’m hearing this crap getting weirder and weirder by the day. How can you prove such things when it can't be proven? Just come up with the most improvable and somehow seen as unquestionable theory and you'll win 1,5 million dollar.
@07084935 You are making yourself look like a complete idiot. Its called the scientific method and weve been aware the universe is expanding for 40 yrs since we discovered the red shift in light. If you had any idea the science behind these claims you would not be so astounded. These theories are proven, as in they have evidence to back them up, i dont know who told you they werent.
BTW havent "discovered" the entire earth? have you gotten a brain scan lately? b/c thats fucking moronic.

The universe is expanding and that is why thing are getting father from us,the sun, planets and many other things are gaining reach and we know this because of the red shift in the telescope.Scientists believe the big bang has not even ended yet because of the expansion.
@Gutsyndicate Islam has nothing to say about science. Religion is out of the game. It should be ejected from the scientific arena solely because it demands to be the truth without a shred of evidence.
Grow up and learn to reason, then you can join the scientific debate.
Oh, you have a problem then.
The penalty for apostasy in Islam is death.
You cannot leave Islam.
Don't worry though. Science does not have a membership card that blows up and kills you if you quit.
@fastballonly only an idiot that doesn't know the history of Islam or science, we talk this way, Islam and science are one, there was no science before Islam, and science mostly was discovered after Islam by muslim scientist, read about it and come back.
@Gutsyndicate those muslim scientist you are so proud of only came after ultra-religious caliphs where starting to lose power in the old persian dominated provinces. learn history and science before making a fool of yourself in front of others.
i see nothing in the Quran where it describes the notions of mathematics and sciences. so please just shut up and go away...
The universe is like an elastic which: expanded in the first place very fast (creation in 6 days)
and it expands slower and slower (our time) a time will come when "the sun reaches its destination" and time will go slower(when a day is like a week and week like a month etc.)
and, finaly, it will disappear (folded up by Allah the Almighty)!
@mistermassive1@mistermassive1 Objects within the universe are not expanding. The fabric of the universe itself is. Gravity is more than enough to resist the force of expansion and keep large objects together.

@justonemorename There are a lot of skeptics of the "big bang" theory (not so much of the expansion [or contraction, which was what they're looking for originally]). And the "bang" part is really not a fact, like, say virology.... it's what happened after whatever else that came first, that science is based on.
There's a Nobel Prize winner, plasma physicist, at my alma mater at the University of California, San Diego --- the late Hannes Alfven --- who wasn't keen on the "big bang" theory.
@BNPpatriot This discovery was that the rate of expansion has been increasing. This was not known until their discovery. The mechanism for this is unknown, and is referred to as "Dark Energy". Most of the universe is this energy. So, this discovery showed us that we do not know what 90% of the universe is made out of. Pretty big discovery in my books.
@AlexKalicinski well he got a nobel peace prize, it wasn't for physics but still, how could whatever he did equate in value to the discovery of an expanding universe?
@Polydynamix I know you wanted to sound flip, but Obama won his in the "Peace" (not in science).
Personally I don't think he deserved it; but the Nobel Committee didn't ask for my opinion, so, there.
Frankly, however, it baffles me rightwingers & Cons --- having so much problems and disagreements with how those Swedes and Norwegians choose winners --- have NOT set up a $5M "Reagan/John Wayne Prize" for true "patriots/heroes" who've been dismantling evil doers left and right...
@HenryDavidT regardless of whether it's a nobel prize for physics or a nobel peace prize... the overall value of the discovery/accomplishment should be at least close to the same. Whatever obama did to get his- I'm sure it wasn't as valuable to man as discovering an expanding universe.

@pluz93 Does Q'ran talk about cloning or its demonic? I guess that book talks about angels and demons too.
Is it a book of fantasy stories?
amolrsagar 4 months ago

Quran sucks and I don't mind telling you that.

@MrAlmuazzin I read the Quran once. By far one of the best historical comedies I've ever been able to read.

@TechnoB0T and your educated? Haha looks like you need to go educate yourself again. I thought Education made people more open minded.

@TechnoB0T science is from Islam. who invented mathematics, algebra, number zero, chemistry, astronomy. learn history pls
Gutsyndicate 4 months ago
@Gutsyndicate Islam has nothing to say about science. Religion is out of the game. It should be ejected from the scientific arena solely because it demands to be the truth without a shred of evidence.
Grow up and learn to reason, then you can join the scientific debate.
Oh, you have a problem then.
The penalty for apostasy in Islam is death.
You cannot leave Islam.
Don't worry though. Science does not have a membership card that blows up and kills you if you quit.
fastballonly 4 months ago
@fastballonly only an idiot that doesn't know the history of Islam or science, we talk this way, Islam and science are one, there was no science before Islam, and science mostly was discovered after Islam by muslim scientist, read about it and come back.
Gutsyndicate 4 months ago
@Gutsyndicate those muslim scientist you are so proud of only came after ultra-religious caliphs where starting to lose power in the old persian dominated provinces. learn history and science before making a fool of yourself in front of others.
i see nothing in the Quran where it describes the notions of mathematics and sciences. so please just shut up and go away...
eidius1989 4 months ago
@Gutsyndicate Islam is a joke, fiction at the most.
Science is a pure pursuit of the truth. There is no comparison here.
We have bullshit on one hand and intellectual honesty on the other hand.
Allah is a joke. Mohammed was just an illiterate epileptic businessman in primitive Middle East.
You are completely blinded by your faith in the cult of death called Islam.
You are incredibly stupid and ignorant and I don't mind putting it this way.

@Gutsyndicate, and the islam stole it from other cultures. learn history please.

@mistermassive1 @mistermassive1 Objects within the universe are not expanding. The fabric of the universe itself is. Gravity is more than enough to resist the force of expansion and keep large objects together.

Nobel prize? pfft. They should have just asked me. I could have told them.
figure out what dark matter is, then you deserve a prize.
DavesAV6 4 months ago
@justonemorename There are a lot of skeptics of the "big bang" theory (not so much of the expansion [or contraction, which was what they're looking for originally]). And the "bang" part is really not a fact, like, say virology.... it's what happened after whatever else that came first, that science is based on.
There's a Nobel Prize winner, plasma physicist, at my alma mater at the University of California, San Diego --- the late Hannes Alfven --- who wasn't keen on the "big bang" theory.

"It's a bit like when you get in your car and put your foot on the brake and your car starts accelerating" so toyota caused the big bang?

the expansion of the universe was first discovered 100+ years ago = MEGA FAIL by morons who want fame by corrupt means.
BNPpatriot 4 months ago
@BNPpatriot This discovery was that the rate of expansion has been increasing. This was not known until their discovery. The mechanism for this is unknown, and is referred to as "Dark Energy". Most of the universe is this energy. So, this discovery showed us that we do not know what 90% of the universe is made out of. Pretty big discovery in my books.
harizotoh7 4 months ago
It is sort of a big discovery... what did obama get his for again?
Polydynamix 4 months ago
@Polydynamix Reallllllly. What????
AlexKalicinski 4 months ago
@AlexKalicinski well he got a nobel peace prize, it wasn't for physics but still, how could whatever he did equate in value to the discovery of an expanding universe?
Polydynamix 4 months ago
@Polydynamix I know you wanted to sound flip, but Obama won his in the "Peace" (not in science).
Personally I don't think he deserved it; but the Nobel Committee didn't ask for my opinion, so, there.
Frankly, however, it baffles me rightwingers & Cons --- having so much problems and disagreements with how those Swedes and Norwegians choose winners --- have NOT set up a $5M "Reagan/John Wayne Prize" for true "patriots/heroes" who've been dismantling evil doers left and right...
HenryDavidT 4 months ago
@HenryDavidT regardless of whether it's a nobel prize for physics or a nobel peace prize... the overall value of the discovery/accomplishment should be at least close to the same. Whatever obama did to get his- I'm sure it wasn't as valuable to man as discovering an expanding universe.
