  • What are you all talking about? This's shit

  • Comment removed

  • curti o geito do cara no lançamento Fiiinish!!! haha MuayThai!!

  • Remember I was here. Thai

  • Damn that guy in the Red trunks knocked him the fuck out. He swings really wild.

  • @johneblaze82 Not not wild. He is throwing it correctly. He is adding a looping punch to his attack which is the most powerful punch in the lethwe system. It's half a hook and half a straight punch. Which means he has full shoulder power from the straight punch and swinging momentum from the hook. To the untrained eye it looks wild but his timing and accuracy is superb. The only thing you could say he is off is red lacks elephant step defense while executing the leap punch.

  • looks like 2 monkeys fighting.. seriously

  • Actually you are not too far off. There are 2 types of leap punches well taught in the Myanmar system. The only guy in the US that actually uses this leap punch is Georges St Peirre who is current UFC middleweight winner. He did it consistently on Koscheck except GSP's form is not good on the leap punch. The 2 forms of leap punch is: 1. Tiger leap which has a straighter leapand less height. 2. Monkey leap has higher leap and is a safer punch and comes crashing onto an opponent(this fight).

  • Keep in mind a lot of martial arts especially kung fu likes to use animals to mimic fighting. Why? Well my philosophy is that animals such as a tiger need to use efficient kill techniques to finish its prey off or else it doesnt eat. If you look carefully the guy in the red has great skill. Watch the KO part again. Watch how he doubles up on the punch when he misses the first. Try it yourself buy leaping and punching and try to double up on the punch. You find how much skill it takes.

  • actually, look up school fights or "ghetto" fights now THAT looks like monkeys fighting

  • the guy in red fights like a rooster lol

  • consider this....they dont use gloves......its hard when u got hit.....

don't understand me? ok...try with any guy on the street.....hehe

  • that's crazy fight

  • They fight like animals coz the winning guys gets food. The looser will get his village burned to the ground.

  • ahahahaha lol

  • damn that was sloppy. then again they are bare knuckle. maybe jumpy because of that. either way did look like crap

  • Actually its not sloppy or lucky. The guy in the red trunks is very good. He actually doubles up on the leap punch before the guy can guard it. View it like a leaping Muay Thai Downward elbow strike. That punch that appears lucky is well taught in MTB system. Thu Rya Year Aung is the best leap puncher. Leap punch is designed to break someone with a powerful defense.

  • Lucky punch, his freakin head was down, crappy vid.

  • Man... things like these are exactly what threatens full contact martial arts to be globally accepted to a full extent. This clip doesn't show martial art, it's a brawl. I myself do thaiboxing, but this is just terrible. No technique, just full power strikes all the time, no guard or defense at all, it's a mockery of anything martial art related.

  • actually you are completely wrong. yes this particular fight is sloppy but watch the Myanmar #1 champ Lone Chaw. Undefeated and destroyed every Thai boxer. Type in Lone Chaw and then reconsider your BS statement.

I've also seen many sloppy Thai fights as well

  • No I'm not wrong since that was a comment on THIS clip :)

  • Oh, and I'm totally against all the sloppiness that is seen in Thaiboxing as well. If you perhaps notice, I wrote the first comment 5 months ago. Since that, I've dissed Thaiboxing and prefer boxing instead. More technique, more sport.

  • lmao boxing is a dying sport and totally boring. Which is soon to be gone by MMA. Also there isnt a boxer on this planet that could compete in Thailand or Burma. Check out Lone Chaw and Win Tun. Also sport? Uh yea boxing uses gloves how pansy.

  • New to MMA? I fought in MMA have you? I've even competed in BJJ with silver medal in Bartlesville, OK tourney. Have you? Boxing is utter trash, and anyone who says it is NEW TO FIGHTING PERIOD and dont talk to me again b/c you are the stupidest human on the planet. And everyone would laugh at your retarded comments the like fag you are.

  • Would you like me to send you a training video of the 2 main types of leap punches and then you can see how it is applied in this fight. This guy who wins the fight actually KO's a lot of people using this leap punch. So if it's sloppy or accident then must get lucky a lot ... no he's actually doing something great that you would never understand. Also, you can get the training video on arts of ancient wisdom. Mechanics of the leap punch is on volume 2 in book print form and video.

  • I would love a training video! : )

    Would you mind?

  • You can buy all 3 volumes from My trainer Christopher. If you google arts of ancient wisdom myanmar traditional boxing you should find his website. Volume one is bull rush and elephant step principles. Volume 2 is mechanics of all Burmese strikes. volume 3 I am in which is a video of me sparring Chris and its all application of principle.

    hope that helps

  • @BF1 Do you have any favorite fighter or any fighter that entertains you the most? I like to see Moe Thee. Small but brave and effecient from what I've seen so far of his fights.

  • Hmm yea good question. My favorite of all time is young Wan Chai. My favorite fighter as of recently changes as the fighter changes when I see major improvements in technique. Saw Shark has gotten much better in the Lethwei principles so I'd have to say hes my favorite now. His executions are getting more precise and is sharper in technique than Tway.

  • @BF1 My favourite fighters are Shwe Wa Tun, Shwe Du Wun and Wan Chai. They are amazing fighter with good skill when they young.Long Chaw fight look like as Shwe Du Wun.I missing of Shwe Du Wun whenever I watch Long Chaw fight.

  • @lpbmartialarts He's good but he lacks a lot of lethwei principles. Someone with a dangerous round house would hurt him badly like Par VI or Win Tun. His punch has Lethwei principle in it. But he has wrong head and shoulder execution. He is prone to a counter head butt, Round house, counter leap punch like the guy in red does here in this video. He's missing bull guard but what I like about him is is good but not perfect bull rush.

  • Go train your boxing. I'll continue to train in Gold Medalist Greco Wrestling, Nogeuira Juijitsu and Myanmar. Then we do a no rules throw down and we'll see who wins.

  • Oh god... I guess you're new to MMA. I recognize your behaviour at least. Grow up. Like I said, I enjoy boxing because it's more of a sport since it's a much more narrow area of training. And OFC there is no boxer that could compete in Burma or Thailand. Are you dumb. But try letting a thaiboxer fight a boxer in his own game - it would be the same shit all reversed. Each to his own.

  • Grow up? You sound like the pansy. Type in Myanmar vs Thai on youtube and you see the Thai all get owned. So far I havent seen Thai win but 5% of the time. In fact I have all the recorded dates and times in a fight library. Get your facts straight loser.

  • crawl back in your mothers womb and get aborted. Loser

  • Lastly. That is the dumbbest comment ever. Thats like telling a Thai boxer, oh btw dont throw an elbow because that hurts. Dont throw a kick because now there's too much range involved. But all you can do now is swing punches with big pillows on your hand and hit each other in the middle of the ring. Check the ratings on boxing. It's dead.

  • Nice spam ;)

You still haven't got the point though, so why even argue with you. You're stuck on the "PUT THE MYANMAR VS THAI AND SEE THAI GET OWNED HOMG!!" "and dont talk to me again b/c you are the stupidest human on the planet. And everyone would laugh at your retarded comments the like fag you are." "I'll continue to train in Gold Medalist Greco Wrestling"

    LOL.

I think I'm dealing with a mentally challenged inbred here, so I'll just leave this angry boy.

  • woa the fighters were like wild animals.

  • Yes. You arent that far off. Keep in mind a lot of martial arts use animals to mimic the fighting style. The technique used by the guy in the red shorst is called a monkey leap punch. It a has higher elevation in the punch and is safer than the 2nd variety of leap punch called a tiger leap.

  • yeah. that was quick!

  • Yea guy in the red has nice leap punch doubling up on it before he lands. He makes one minor technique flaw is that he misses the elephant step in it to make the punch more powerful and to guard himself while attacking.
