  • good soundtrack

  • @veryslyfox it wasn't a normal tackle. he torn ligaments in his knee because he had his foot planted. it dosent take that much force on any persons knee athlete or not to tear a lgament when its poorly planted

  • @bgilmer80 wtf are you talking about?? He suffered a hip injury from a routine tackle.

  • There are several things that make a RB great. Durability is one of them, and Bo clearly lacked it. That tackle that injured him was just a regular tackle. If a normal tackle effectively ends your career, you weren't meant to play a sport like football. He should have stuck with a puss sport like baseball

  • @veryslyfox

Stupid comment! A freak injury can happen on any tackle on any player. Bad luck, not lack of durability cost Bo his football career.

  • @veryslyfox Hahahaha wow football is a contact sport you can get hurt on any play with any tackle, and to your comment on baseball being a puss sport it may not be a physically strong type sport but i bet those guys are some of the most clutch mentally strong athletes and i bet any of them could whoop you in a fight lol

  • @TheyCallmeSliccBacc Ill put my money on ANY college wrestler over ANY Baseball player. Mentally Strong ha ha ha ha the Only sport that you can be 39 years old and peaking not to mention a fat drunk. You have no idea what you are talking about.

  • @lbaker215 Hahaha yeah yet i dont see you Playing professional baseball.....

  • @TheyCallmeSliccBacc I wrestled in college, Baseball players are all the same. Cocky as hell for no reason at all. They all thought they were tuff me and 3 other wrestlers left 7 of them lying on the ground one night in Nebraska. You want mentally tuff try cutting 10 pounds a week for 15 years having 3% body fat eating an apple a day then going out and performing at 100%

  • @veryslyfox Gale Sayers didn't have a very long career either.

Guess he wasn't a great RB either, huh?

  • @BloodEagle729 As a matter of fact, Sayers is the most overrated player in the HOF. He only got in because in those days the barrier of entry was incredibly low. With his numbers, he would never get in today. There are dozens of other contemporary RBs who may never get in despite having done far more than Sayers ever did. He was definitely not a great RB, not even close. He is on par with Bo and Jamal Lewis -- guys who had succeded for a couple of years and that's all.

  • @veryslyfox A puss sport which also happens to be the hardest sport in the world to play

  • Bo was just like Marcus Dupree, a big guy that had the speed of a WR. fucking amazing.

  • BO JACKSON HAD TRUE LOVE FOR THE GAME. NFL AND MLB, ALWAYS HAPPY AND ENJOYING HIMSELF OUT THERE.

  • What a beast, god if only the Raiders could have someone like him now.

  • @AnchorsAweigh2010 they do have people like him right now. not as good of course but they are like him.

  • i still remember seein him runnin (or limping) out a ground ball in spring training the year after his hip surgery. it broke my heart. we were cheated out of watching the greatest athlete of our time. thanks for posting this

  • 2.08 to 2.10 = the most awesome thing ive ever seen

  • WAR DAMN EAGLE!

  • Brandon Jacobs-240 and 6'4" GET THE FUCK OUT THE WAY

  • @funnydude415 I'm a Giants fan too, but please don't ever disrespect Bo Jackson like that ever again lol.

  • @funnydude415 bo jackson was 10x the athlete brandon jacobs is lol .

  • Notice something. Bo jackson. Walter Payton. both number 34. =D

  • @Screamo4Life101 And Herschel...

  • Somebody take this video off of fast forward, I want to watch it in real time. Oh, it is in real time? Damn.

  • I think this goes to show How Amazing Bo Jackson is: The trainer said "Bo says he felt his hip come out of the socket, so he popped it back in, but that's just impossible, no one's that strong."

  • I don't think he's any faster than Chris Johnson. He did have a lot more power though. Chris Johnson did have three 80+ yard touchdowns in a single season (no one ever had more than two for a career) and CJ ran for 2,000 plus yards in a single season. (while playing on a dismal team) So to say Bo was so much better the production says otherwise. Full season or not. Don't get me wrong I am a huge Bo Jackson fan though.

  • @BLong114 Have in mind bo only played 8 games per season and was second strings runningback and had baseball at the same time and still rushed what fulltime runningbacks rush... and depends on the distance on a 40 bo is faster chris joohnson-4.24 bo 4.12 and had olympic 60m speed but in a 100 i guess you can say cj was faster

  • @30293952 He didn't run a 4.12. I know that's what he was timed at, it's unanimously agreed on, etc. However it wasn't timed electronically and the human reaction time is on average .08 - .10 seconds off usually in the runner's aid. He was most likely in the mid 4.2's. Bo's main speed came in the open field with his large strides. So if he really did run a 4.12 he would have never been caught from behind, and he would have set olympic records. Most experts agree that a sub 4.1 is impossible.

  • @30293952 Meant to say sub 4.2

  • @BLong114 well we also have 16 games for a season nowadays

  • How is that possible?

  • All I can say is "Damn awesome". I think the only person who could have stopped Bo was Bo himself. All he needed was two steps and he was like a runaway locamotive, a mack truck, a bulldozer, and whatever else you can think of. I felt for that tackle in 04:17, I think he was #31 that got pulverized by Bo. Damn, he looked lifeless after that hit. I wonder did he ever get up???

  • Thats why Al Davis keeps drafting speed players. Your bound to find another dynamite player like Bo Jackson eventually.

  • What is most impressive about Bo IMO is his yards after contact. Linebackers had trouble tackling him.

  • Bo turning the corner against the Bengals at 1:00/1:01 looking like Usain Bolt. WOW!!!!!

  • Goddamn he's fast!!! He never played a full season due to baseball season. I have zero doubt that if he didn't get injured and played full seasons, he would have broken records. But it's a toss up as to who would have been best all-time between Bo and Barry. If Bo stayed healthy.... If Barry had a an offensive line.... They were both dazzling to watch in their own ways. Bo had speed and devastating power; Barry was like a pinball and bounced off everyone. A shame, really.

  • @frfr1234frfr for once, I found someone who knows what running a football is all about...your comment is perfect!!!!!! you are exactly right!! let no one ever tell you different!.......tw

  • Bo Jackson would've been the greatest running back ever. He had the size and strength of Christian Okoye (pre-Steve Atwater Hit). Speed and moves of Barry Sanders, toughness of Emmitt Smith, and finesse of Walter Payton.

  • @scruffnutz Moves of Barry Sanders? Get this straight dude, no one has or had moves like Barry. I wish Bo dedicated himself to football. He might have broke down taking on all that contact.

  • Bo was an amazing athlete, no doubt! Can't diss the man one bit, but from our point of view, we were just glad he was gone! lol

  • Bo Jackson would've been at about 240 at his prime, while running faster than a 180 corner, if I was a coach if my corner attempted to tackle him, but didn't I don't think you could blame him.

  • @magnum4magnets82 Fucking learn how to WRITE, jack ass.

  • @yahoopl3

So your cussing me out because my grammar wasn't perfect lol. Atleast I'm not like

dooude it are tha intrwebez gos giv me a brake

Anyways why do you care so much to tell me to F-off?

  • I read that he was only 219 pounds. In the video they mentioned 230. Which is correct? He looks around 230, but who knows?

  • @drbayoms he was 230 at his best and 219 when he first came as a freshman during the summer and he was 235 when he got injured

  • @30293952

Oh, alright. He was 219 at Auburn his freshman year. And 230 in the NFL. Thanks!

  • @drbayoms haha yup yup anytime

  • i don't think there is a best,just a number of best.no ranking.jim brown,gale sayers,walter peyton,barry sanders,and bo jackson.the list goes on,eric dickerson,o.j. simpson,marcus allen...there is no #1,just the best at what they did.

  • @dkitty8124 walter payton is the best.he was the best at w/e he was doing on the field.didnt matter wht it was.catching, blocking, running, breaking tackles. he was the best at everything compared to every other running back.besides barry sanders at juking. dude had moves lol

  • I don't care what no one says, Walter Payton Is the Best

  • Bo was unreal fast!!!! Plus powerful to put u on yo AZZ!!!!

  • Bo Jackson is what you get when you put 99 for everything in madden.

  • 1. Walter Payton - Earl Campbell

    2. Marshall Faulk - Bo Jackson

    3. Emmitt Smith - Barry Sanders

    4. Gale Sayers - Eric Dickerson

and maybe to be on this list Adrian Peterson

  • @ThleTruth put Jim Brown up there with Emmitt and Barry at the number 3 spot

  • Comment removed

  • @BlackFreemasonsSuck I aint dissin you calm the fuck down i was just asking i never said at any point that i didnt believe i just asked what did he do and how did you no damm sorry if it offended u then

  • @30293952 Bitch you asked me how did I know like Im speaking on something that I didnt witness my fucking self. You got the spirit of a fucking caucasian guy and you insulted me in a suttle manner by your fucking comment when you asked ....How Do You Know? Id slap the the living shit outta you if you was in front of me asking me some dumb ass arrogant cracker shit like that. You aint worth me slapping your dumb ass, I dont wanna get fleas on my fucking hands slapping yo bitchass.

  • Does he ever stop accelerating?

  • 0:59 having that much speed isnt fair to the rest of the world

  • best rb ever

  • I thought vernon davis was the best athelete to ever play football paper wise until I learned a little something about Bo Jackson.

    4.1 40 yard dash at 6 1 230 pounds. He played as a bruiser.

  • DAMMIT!! Why can't I find a good Bo highlight video with GOOD music?? F this music on this video!

  • 88yards measured from the spot of the snap and measured in a straight line to where the ball was marked down....Bo started far right caught the pitch going left and reversed his field ,lets say thats 10 yards...Bo then stopped, circled back almost across the whole field...maybe another 30-35 yards before heading up field...nearly 40 yards covered before crossing the line of scrimmage. Then hurdled a tackler, regained his balance and broke for the end zone...125-140yards try it your self

  • i know this guy, was incredible, but no way he ran a 4.12 40. number 25 caught him at around 3:30. i know it doesnt show it here, but he did.

  • @cmurphy118 only reason he got caught was cause he was exhausted after running it so much...hell i'd be too after jumping over and running over 5 or more defenders....and carrying the ball 90 yards

  • @boneskillu but i mean 25 ran the exact same distance and caught him. but yea i suppose if this was in like the 4th he would be fucked up from running over them all day.

  • @cmurphy118 25 didn't run the same distance. He was the corner on that side of the field. Which means while Bo was running away from him, changing direction, bouncing off players, and coming completely accross the field for the second time, 25 was standing in one spot protecting the back side of the defense/being lazy. So Bo had basically covered roughly 50 yards before being even with 25 for the final run everyone sees.

  • @cmurphy118 he was tired... simple

  • A beast!

  • omg he avg 5.4 yards a carry!

  • BO KNOWS

  • All I want to know is how the hell did Brian bosworth get in the all pro football 2k8 football game and bo jackson didn't SMFH!

  • 34 for ever!

  • I hate this guy so much, but hes just so awsome.

  • My Favorite football player period

  • if he were 6'4 250, he would be illegal

  • @nfldude28 gah! 6'1 230 is already deadly

  • Manny Ramirez= Current version of BO

  • @JaysFan3003 That's a joke right? When was the last time Manny walked the outfield wall or snapped a bat over his helmet?? He's nowhere near Bo, not even vaguely. The only part Ramirez might have on a good day is the swing.

  • @JaysFan3003 what? You have got to be kidding.

  • worst music ever and you just cut KBlaze's video with this crap song. Way to go bud.Marcus Allen was a better football player anyway.

  • @ChiefKeewatin out your damn mind Chiefs suck im from Kansas

  • @lbaker215

Are you fucking stupid too? Need I school someone again? Marcus Allen was a Raider and won a superbowl ring with them. Along comes Bo Jackson and Al Davis gives him the starting job. Marcus Allen was back at Fullback. Then he bounced to the Chiefs. But you knew that right?

  • @lbaker215 Didn't you know the only reason Bo has these wicked runs is because Marcus blocked for him? No you didn't because you only remember flash in the pan raiders like Bo cause your not a real fan. Sit down and shut up. Clan in da front.

  • @ChiefKeewatin I do not think Marcus who ever the f you are talking about had anything to do with BO JACKSON running a 40 in 4.12 seconds. And you are right i have not been a Raiders Fan since Bo left. Why would I they are terrible like the lions TRASH. you call your self a Raiders fan but you have Chief in your name you poor poor bastard. Take Marc away Bo is still the best ever.

  • Future generations will see highlights of Bo Jackson and have the same reaction as we did when we first saw him......HOLY SHIT!!!!

  • once a year a sayin is born he has speed and power but once in a 100 years a super sayin is born with ultra speed and ultra power that was bo jackson

  • Honestly the greatest football player and baseball player

  • I was mezmorized by this guy as a kid. I have every single collectible card ever made with his name printed on it. Too bad baseball and football cards are worth nothing now heh. But it's a cool collection I can give to my kids and show them videos of this guy in action. Bo knows!

  • It took a freekishly rare injury to bring this great man down, otherwise he would have gone down, without question, as the best ever. A superhuman athlete like this comes around once every 100 years or so, with the last one being Jim Thorpe...

  • @jimistreets And the dude HATED to train!!!

  • number one on my list as best runningback

  • 2:43 oh my.

  • What's up with that cheap music! Sounds like it's from some cheap 70s sports highlight show.

  • bo jackson is one of the greatest athletes to walk the earth. awesome highlights. incredible plays made.

  • The NFL is lucky he got hurt, this guy could have easily gotten 3,000 yds. in a season!

  • bo is faster than chris johnson with damn rocket boosters!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • BO IS A BEAST!!!!!!!

  • Great compilation!

  • @noninous-if you're watching the same thing i am Lott ends up on his ass and after contact he does gain more yardage.

  • Is this fastforwarded? His feet are movin'.

  • He is equally impressive as jim brown if not more.He would of absolutely destroyed the defenses of browns day. With all those slow players and arm tackles.LOL

  • Easily the greatest athlete ever

  • 1:32 hahaha amazing

  • @cali8311994 that was badass

  • But Ronnie Lot took care of him at 10 05

  • @noninous From what I seen Bo was still standing

  • @Foy518 how many yards did he get when lott came over-- zero. Ronnie Lott was one of the great Defensive players of all time, and not many players are bowling him over, including Bo Jackson.

  • @Foy518 Exactly, ronnie lott got popped.LOL What is that dude talking about?:)

  • 4.12... enough said

  • walter payton was his role model, he even admitted it, and i just don't think bo jackson comes close to the skill of walter payton.

  • @inferno350z i agree that walter payton was one of the best of all time and maybe even the best but if bo didnt get hurt 3 years in he would be the best of all time he had speed strength and that quickness to make guys miss and just cut back on a dime

  • @inferno350z what skill set are you talking about?

  • @skydome29 The one that runs people over, which back when i posted that i was not thinking properly. Sorry to offend bo jackson is an extional athlete, i was just blindly posting a random statement.

  • @inferno350z Well, many backs wear 34 for a reason, Jim Brown and Sweetness.

  • @skydome29 Bo wore it because sweetness wore it.. think about it, bo came after walter.

  • @inferno350z I know that's what I was implying, and Jim Brown wore it before Payton

  • @skydome29 I think im going to research the history of 34

  • @inferno350z Tell me how it ends.

  • the thing is, he was getting better every year at baseball, I know his career average was .250, I think if he doesn't get injured that football season, he would have had a close to .300 overage with 40 homers, then who knows what would have happened with football. Another 3,000 yards and I think he would have been a slam dunk for the football hall of fame putting up the numbers he did as a part time player. Even A.P. doesn't come close to Bo. The greatest athelete I have ever seen. Period.

  • You can't really appreciate his speed when they slow down video but Bo would be at full speed at about the line of scrimage that is why he could buck linebackers like little kids. He would of been the best of all time, by far the best Raider runningback of all time.

  • BO JACKSON is the best running back ever . If he never got injured he would have broke every record COME ON THINK ABOUT IT 245 LOW 4.2 40yrd dash AND HE RAN OVER LINEBACKERS AND BURNT DBs COME ON THINK ABOUT IT AND HE DID NOT RUN OUT OF BOUNDS

  • for any one who thinks bo wasn't as great as he looks....watch it again,...ask yourself, "did BO run out of bounds ?"

  • When I played football on the Playstation, they had this classic mode where you could pick old school players. Bo Jackson and Hershel Walker were unfair running backs. I can see they make fast players stand still.

  • at 9:54 he slips a takle by the great Lawrence Taylor! What a shame that a FREAK injury stopped his career - I mean a hip problem? Life is strange and all men are mortal!

  • War Eagle!!!! Bitches

  • One of the most incredible athletes ever. Not only was he the best NFL player at the time he played, he was also a great Major League Baseball player. IF only he hadnt got injured.... although even after the injury he was able to keep playing baseball.

  • @Sodiumreactor - Yeah, he kept playing baseball, but he was never the same. Without the injury, he likely would have been the 1st (?) to be in both the NFL and MLB Hall of Fames. Amazing talent...glad I got to see him play baseball in person!!

  • @Psychodog653

Definitely headed to the hall as a football player, talent wise. Baseball, maybe. He was only a career .250 hitter though.

  • @Psychodog653 What a privilege to see Bo in person. Did he do anything spectacular?

  • @cavaleer - Unfortunately, no...not that I can recall but still, knowing what I know now, it was a treat to watch him

  • the songs ALMOST as fast as him lmao
