  • better gas mileage...lol

  • Well, whoever told you that dosen't know anything. I mean clearly.

Its a 1959 miller meteor caddilac ambulance. CHECK OUT OUR

    VIDEOS!!!!!! (please?)

  • epic :D

  • that would be a cool sky warn unit tho

  • Subarus FTW!!!

  • LOL boomerjinks, I remember seeing this on the NASIOC website

  • makes subarus look cool

  • there is seriously ghostbuters? in real life?

  • @TheMafyoz yeah didnt you know? the movie was based on a true story! lol

  • i want one so bad this is the second greatest car ever made the first is the 1989 batmobile in my book but this car man i want it but id rather have the 1959 version instead of this one

  • A subaru wagon? It should be a 1959 caddy!

  • Wait, what?

  • He's saying the model for Ecto-1 is a 59 Caddy, not a subaru....I hope that's not a serious "huh".

  • No I'm completely being serious. We were told that the car used in the movie was a 2003 Subaru....

  • That doesn't even make sense. Ghostbusters was made in 1984, there's no way it could be a 2003 Subaru. Ecto-1 is a 1959 Cadillac Ambulance/Hearse combo.

  • Boomerjinks your silly and Cornwiggle your even more silly.

  • @Boomerjinks Lol'd

  • @peewee2627 Go find one, there are fans out their that would love to DIY an Ecto - 1 but the Caddies are rare and expensive.

  • How long did it take to make a pretty good replica of the Ecto?

  • lol hahaha!! the anti-ghost police haha funny!

  • ...what?

  • i thought it was some kind of an anti-ghost police?

  • You ever heard of Ghostbusters?

  • not really...guess its some kind of a tv serie?

  • The Ecto in GB2 has green gels on the light bars, along with blue and orange. Cant do blue as im sure you are aware of, but green lights are street legal, at least here in Milwaukee...

  • They have all colors - red, amber, green, blue, and white - on the Ecto-1A. Red, green, and blue are illegal in most states, which is why you don't see many Ecto-1 replicas driving down the street with blue lights. (Of course, some places allow you to use any lights, which is pretty kickass.)

I have an Explorer outfitted with amber LEDs... I should think about turning my old Subaru into something like this.

  • AWESOME!!! Pure and simple! All you need are a few green rolling lights, imo. NICE WORK!

  • Thank you, thank you! But why green?

  • It's probably for many different reasons. My guess is because they're street legal. Another could be just to make it unique.

  • Well, the original Ecto-1 had mostly blue lights - obviously illegal in most places. Ecto-1A (GB2) had all colors (see my other post). It would be a good addition to maybe replace the dome from one side of the bars for a green one, but keep in mind green isn't street legal in a lot of places. Considering you're running that many ambers on public roads, though, I'd hazard a guess that green is OK. Check your DMV beforehand if you plan on installing green lights. (I learned that the hard way.)

  • Great Vid! Keep up the good work!!

  • Can't wait to see the sequel...

    Subie fans unite!

  • OMG OMG amazing, nick is very excite for the full length

  • Great footage; where did you find the soundtrack?

  • "The Jihad" from Children of Dune.

  • Thank you very much!

  • "Greatest Ecto-Related video on youtube."
