i agree with friedrich hayek. if i were an employer, i would probably prefer to have a collective entity to negotiate on the behalf of my employees for wage rates, but they certainly shouldn't be forceful or monopolistic towards the workers of their industries (as most are) or have any political influence. if an employer chooses not to hire, or to fire, someone in a union, that's their right.
@ paulsviplist - would you prefer armed security like China factories or Union representation for fair wages?? In Mexico they have armed military in factories to prevent Union organizing, is that your goal? you must be a factory manager or owner, all us citizens would love the Unions to help us negotiate fair wages and safe working conditions so speak for yourself you commie prick
