  • yo estoy medio siego y toco mejor que tuu

  • @dennychaos Zildjian black dip 7A Sticks <33

  • amazing cover but if you want something to work on practice the blast, good footwork

  • i really like your cymbal sounds. i have never said this to anyone in a youtube video but i really like your hi hat sounds. kudos on the cover. sounded amazing.

  • I can believe a 58 on overhead, but on kick it would normally distort. Not sure how you did it, but not a bad job. The Lexicon made a big difference I suppose. And you got some skills young man. ABR is some hard stuff to play, well at my age anyway.

  • @billboardforbandstv Yeah, 58 don't usually handle high SPLs but I kept it a little further away and kept the mic gain down. That Lexicon is awesome, just wish it had more inputs. Thanks man.

  • for real it dont sound that good as far as micing goes and i dont know why that guy said it sounds reallly good HAHA but it is a spectacular cover thumbs up

  • Nice cover dude. What china are you using in this video, and what rack tom heads are you using? ROCK ON \M/ (>.<) \M/

  • @brainfable16 a broken Zildjian Oriental China 16".

  • how'd u record this?

  • @frenchxtoastx87 look up " Lexicon Omega Audio Interface". I used two microphones. One as an overhead, one for the kick drum.

  • @dennychaos that sounds really fricken good for 2 mics, can i ask wat kinda overhead u used? cuz it sounds like the whole kit was miced indiv.

  • @frenchxtoastx87 I don't think it sounds half that good :P It's a Shure SM58 Vocal Mic if you believe me.. on kick and overhead HAHA

  • faultless

  • i have a good tip for you.. if you're leaning towards your set for double kicks, the kicks are a little beyond you and you're trying too hard. you did really good, i don't mean to sound like a dick here. try and find a sweet spot on your pedal and develope a posture. it sounded like your doubles were slowing down by just a TINY bit in some places. keep it up man, you're really good.

  • @12AustinJohnson12 I don't think this makes you sound like a dick at all. I actually appreciate this very much. But I've worked on my doubles A LOT since this. And I think I'm really getting there [: Suscribe so you can critique my new videos... if i ever make any :/

  • @dennychaos i can pretty much bet that you're already right where you need to be. and i will subscribe.

  • @12AustinJohnson12 Thanks man. Although I've been trying a new set up so we'll so how that goes...

  • @dennychaos i just adjusted my set. i'm puttin some videos of my drumming up here pretty soon. it was all just random. minus the last one i'm going to put up, which is part of the eleventh hour.

  • @12AustinJohnson12 sounds good dude, i'll suscribe [:

  • Ever tried Aquarian Performance 2s, Response 2s, or Super 2s?

  • @BashYouLongtime Nope :/ I've read a lot of good things about them. But right now I am OBSESSED with trying to get some Evans EC2s. I'll let you know how those are [: or i'll just post a video with them [;

  • @dennychaos I heard Performance sound dead and that the Responses and Supers are better. Supers are more expensive than Responses but I think I like responses better. I have to try them out next. Ofc I suck at tuning so that's prolly why I don't like my G2 coated so much. :\

  • @BashYouLongtime Yeah, I don't really like dead toms. I'll do more research for sure but for now I'll invest in EC2s so I dont get money and would only spend on something i'm already sure of

  • @dennychaos Yeah.

  • Which evans heads do you have? I have the G2's with the added Evans e-rings

  • @DsGju1c3ba9 I have G2 coated. I WANT EC2s so bad though!!!!!

  • @dennychaos I was gonna get the EC2s! But when i went to guitar center all they had were the G2 coated.. i was suprised they were this good :p but yeah i plan on grabbing EC2s whenever i see the chance

  • @DsGju1c3ba9 yeah, i was just at and Underoath stage when I went to get new heads so I went w/G2 coated haha. But they're good :] EC2s ftw man :D as soon as i get money for them :]

  • Nice! Your drums sound really good, bro.

  • @Marzook37 thanks :]

  • dudeee i love the sound of your kit :D

  • @ijamhxc4him09 thanks to Evans heads :D

  • @dennychaos dude i use the exact same set up with the St dry on the snare and G2's on the toms, its sooo sickkk, your reallly good btw

  • @ijamhxc4him09 hella good sounds :D do you have an EMAD? But I don't use the St. Dry anymore. I use a marching snare head now :]

  • I love this song so much! Great! ;D

  • @twinsTHkaulitz thanks :]

  • Brutal as man!!! keep it up

  • thanks :]

  • nah man remo all the way.

  • needs some work. but for your first take, not bad at all. just look for the small details matt throws in there. i was thinking of doing an existence cover soon and a white washed cover. stay tuned!

  • thanks :] i shall stay tuned haha

  • ehat are you recording with? and nice cover theres not many of this song that are good

  • I have a Lexicon Omega Interface, Two Shure SM58s (kick and overhead) and Logic Pro. :]

    Thanks bro! :D

  • go with the classic remo coated embassador for toms and a remo ebony powerstroke 3's on the kick. That's just to get your drums back in shape and finally seeing whos boss.

  • nah, remo heads just dont last as long as evans, and are just to dead, you need to have some resonance to it other wise your toms sound like bass drums.

  • Go with Vic Firth, classics and versietile for any style.

  • I do use Vic Firth :] but what tom heads should I get?

  • @dennychaos. i basically have the same exact kit ha except i have a pork pie snare and a shitty ride but i just replaced my evans g2 tom heads with aquarians and they sound sick. nice cover btw

  • i've actually been looking into aquarian too. Which ones did you get and what kind of character do they have?

  • i got the performance 2 series in clear which were the only type the guitar center by me sold and they are great. really good tone, very powerful sounding but with not a lot of overtone at all. i use remo O's over top of them also i think it really helps with the overtones too.

  • id say stick with evans, but if you want more resonant and full sound, try ec2, if your looking for a a dead sound try onxy 2-ply. Sticks, i would try vater, i use the 5A los angles with nylon tips. There a bit heavier than a standard 5a but there good gripping, and you dont notice the weight after a while.

  • definitely not onyx, i've been thinking of the ec2s but something just keeps me with G2s. I'll try the Vaters if they're cheap :]

  • my personal preference is aquarian performance 2 heads with pro-mark shira kashi oak sticks:)

those heads give a nice dead tone if thats what anyone is looking for. i love them:)

and the shira kashi sticks last long, or at least for me they doo:)

  • shitty sticks man, tell me those aren't zildjian. and two evans only makes good snare heads and you should nkow that being a fan of matt.

  • they are, i got them for christmas and they were all i had.

what tom heads should i get then?

  • Hurry up and do a Crusades cover! Please? :)

  • I'll try! I just got a new china :o

  • dude, awesome job!!

  • thanks!

  • You are hella RAW!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ur toms sound amazing

    good job

    5 stars

  • thanks!

  • you missed two china hits on 2:06

  • @jonasrocksmyworld sure about that? i used the hi hat as a mini china so i'm pretty sure i didn't

  • i missed one china hit :/

  • Yayyy :] Good job.

You need to do Ocean of Apathy. ;D

  • I'll try! I just got a new china :D

  • :O this is amazing.

    hella good job :D
