I wanna disagree with the statement in the description. Hossy has great reflexes, and no doubt he predicts and intercepts very well, but i still think Xiao's Ibuki is better because he takes more risks and has more of a (correct me if I'm wrong about this statement) rushdown style.
@DarkFiraga64 im not freaking out fool. its just stupid for someone to make it seem like my opinion is wrong. when it is infact just that. an opinion.
@someguyhunter No one said you were wrong. They said "at least it looks cool" and "it's easy to connect." They never said it was wrong. Does this mean you call people fool regularly? (Mr. T!) You also called him a smart ass and fat too though, which is a bit worse.
He takes ON Akuma, maybe. I think according to canon they both sensed great power in one another and both fought while holding back their true strength. Anyhow, they were interrupted before a victor could be decided, if memory serves.
i dunno if that's true. what i know is he OCVd an entire team in sbo 08 and did the biggest combo i've ever seen. i've never been so impressed with a performance of any char as that time
Hmm, well I dont know exactly what makes an advantage or disadvantage... but I don't believe Oro is Ibuki's master. Oro is a hermit, and Ibuki studies in a ninja school or something like that. I know that oro beats ryu in the storyline and takes him as a student though.
I also read somewhere that Ibuki fights Oro to get her ninja studies diploma, so I understood that Oro was her master. But gameplay-wise, Oro has good speed to keep up with Ibuki, a godly antiair and nice defense, so Ibuki has a hard time against Oro.
There's no way Oro is Ibuki's master. When she meets him for her graduation exam, she asks, "Excuse me, are you a Sennin?" And Oro's dialogue clearly denotes that he doesn't know her.
A few advantages Oro has against Ibuki. Oro has better priority in most of his attacks against ibuki. Oro has a low hit box which means Ibuki's best punisher which is EX hqb KKK does not hit him when Oro is crouching. Also Oro's hitbox makes it harder for Ibuki to connect her SA I.

@MrKingT88
It's between SA1 and 3. SA 3 is great because of it's short bar, but SA 1 has a damn good chipping ability, as well as 3 stocks.

Hossy is doing better in this match compared to the fight with Kuroda's Q...
but i dont think he is coming close to Aruka's level still

I actually like Meso's Ibuki better. But nice Ibuki player.

oro is a lot of fun to play with
his standing roundhouse does sick damage and stun and his standing strong sets up a lot of combos and damage.
someguyhunter 2 years ago 5
Did you know that canon wise Oro is one of the strongest characters?
d2girls 3 years ago 4
Yeah, takes out Akuma with relative ease.
Him and Gen are pimps.

All i have to say is that Oro has one play style, and no adaptability.

Supposedly, Oro is Ibuki's master.

And Ibuki's worst opponent is Chun-Li, not Oro.
derekmok 3 years ago
The smaller Ibuki's opponents are, the harder the time she has. Not only that, but Oro has a double jump, and as a result has a lot more mobility.
jamiany 3 years ago 9
@jamiany and it is generally agreed that ibuki blows up oro in most situations

pretty sure if you do mk first it connects. Which you would if you were punishing. And hcb P is only slightly less damage.

all depends on which punch you push, the harder the punch, the shallower the angle, like the kunai.
