acting at least wasnt terrible. story is boring and kind of plain. "wife gets beaten. she is sad. the end" is what i would expect the screenplay to say. it also seems like you tried too hard and kinda force fed us some overly obvious and unneeded symbolism.

This is awesome, thanks for sharing, I like how long some of the shots were like when she was staring blank faced, it made the piece really intense and got the message across. Fab acting from the girl and it was even more powerful that we didn't really get to see the man's face! Excellent work!

The symbolism used to create tension was good: Simple meal, light on or lacking meat on a ceramic plate/Ceramic plate scrapes across hardwood table. Pastel environment with hard straight edges/ Washer and Dryer in the same room, behind the man/ The abuser is dressed neatly whle the abused is in old ill-fitting clothes. Other than that, this was crap. WKUK's "Pizza Bagel" skit is more effective, shorter, and funny as well as disturbing.

Acting, makeup were good but the overall look and feeling of the production just didn't break through.

... maybe, if this was a commercial or clip against "husband-violence" it would be okay... but as a short movie? why would she even dare staring at him if he just beat her up? The reflection of him in the microwave is a good Idea but it just looks as if he shouts at a dog or something.

Audio was terrible: all the way through the movie there was an annoying high-pitched sound.
