  • i sell tea-cup nd mini yorkies in the uk nd its mad how many buyers have been ripped off, people jst trust way too easily, its ridiculous how many people ave paid for a puppy and never actually got one, i agree that people should be more educated on buying a puppy, i never sell mine to people that don't know anything about yorkies!!!

  • LalaLala this video is the most boring ive ever seen GOSH!

  • Not really

  • Thank you for trying to educate the public.

No, not all will be sick - but the majority WILL BE. Plus, these disreputable people advertise their small size so you'll pay more money. There are countless stories on the internet of people who bought these dogs for much more than market value, then found out they were sick, and the seller would not take them back or give a refund.

Don't buy these dogs; do the research and find a worthwhile breeder or rescue before buying any dog!

  • is sad having a sick yorkie but they are adorable, no matter how much cost the vet, the grooming, the food, the clothes, even the surgery, the love and the companion they offer are most important, money goes and money comes, but all the happy moments i spend with my yorkies are priceless, my little molly had a complication in one leg, the vet did a surgery and she was disabled 4 weeks, now she is ok, she can walk and run again

  • Great info... thank you. People need to be educated :)

  • This video is extremely helpful, people seriously need to educate themselves about "TEACUP" Yorkies. Keep in mind that the term widely used describing some Yorkshire

Terriers as Tea Cups is NOT a term that reputable breeders use. There is NO SUCH THING as a teacup Yorkshire Terrier! These are terms that certain breeders use to increase interest in their dogs (and most always the price)There are a lot of chronically unhealthy puppies because unscrupulous breeders and puppy mills are inbreeding.

  • that happened with my dad but with just a silky terrier he had to spend over 2 grand to get it better.

  • There's no such thing as teacup, stupid!!! Even though you say how to prevent bringing home a teacup yorkie, doesn't mean they'll be not sick. A "teacup" yorkie will ALWAYS be sick!!

  • i have a 2.8 pound, almost 7 month old yorkie. most people who are uneducated about the breed would refer to her as a "teacup" being that she is under 4 pounds.. she is TOTALLY HEALTHY 100% says my vet. so what you are saying is totally untrue. i know a lot of small yorkies (who were not bred to be small) that are very healthy.

  • Exactly

  • There's no such thing as teacup, stupid!!! Even though you say how to prevent bringing home a teacup yorkie, doesn't mean they'll be not sick. A "teacup" yorkie will ALWAYS be sick!!

  • I have two yorkies. One is 15 years old and the other is 5 years old. I think this is very good information. I also would like to say that for health reasons, you should brush your yorkies teeth. Very Important!

  • miniature yorkie but no teacup, they only use that word to bump up the price!

  • who cares! their suposed to be smaller fieldofaware!

  • Their is no such thing as a teacup yorkie according to akc standard!

  • True. If anyone tries to sell you a "teacup" yorkie, find someone else.

  • they're called teacup yorkies to show that they'll be smaller than the average miniature ones. I hav a teacup and she's only 2 pounds(full grown btw)

  • Their is no such thing as a teacup yorkie according to akc standard!

  • good job! i've been looking at buying dogs, and this helps!
