get more into it. improvise in the breaks. swing more, that doesn't mean be staccato. also, are you trying to play at an angle? the flute ways like 3 pounds hold your head up straight.
well you just need to keep your flute horizontal, and I'm not sure if it was the camera quality, but it sounded as if some notes only came halfway out. but other than that, great job! you have nice finger form.
a song has words in it. but I will let you off because of your nice paintings in the background :)

Great job.
However you need to keep the flute horizontal, otherwise it could give you neck problems. It sure gave me neck problems...
You probably saw professional yazz flaustist have their head tilted, but I think they do that to make sliding tones easier.

I noticed that I was doing that and I've been working on it. :) Thanks.
Actually, I've never seen them doing that...I do it mostly because I can't see the music because it's down on the desk and not infront of me. :(
Thanks again!

Well I guess, it's like reading aloud. Some people read one word at a time, others memorise whole sentences and read whilst looking at the audience.
I believe in Yazz flute, you'll need to do that and it also provides some means for improvisation. A powerful skill really.
I should record my own attempts for Yazz flute before telling others what to do...lol... :)
