  • Cause nothing looks better in 3-D than a retarded fish

  • This is just amazing

  • NICE!!!

  • YOU CAN'T SHOW 3D TV ON A 2D SCREEN RECORDED WITH A 2D CAMERA!!!!!!!!!

  • my god

    this is revolutionary

  • if ninty fanboys Said This is 3ds Rip off I will kick thier asses

GO THEN AND TELL NINTENDO TO CREATE THAT TV

  • Thank you samsung or whoever made this tech,

i don't wanna see retard generation of families where everyone wear those dumb 3d glasses.

  • ok ok

the new Price Tag is 99999.000000001 $

    you should pay 0.000000001 $

or you will not have 3d lcd !!!!!!!!

  • Obviously they will release this after they have made enough money selling us 3D glasses TV's, why sell something once when you can sell it twice.

  • @krimoz911 true.. true..

  • Yes, there's something that does 3D with no glasses that thousands of dollars cheaper. It's called reality!

Billions of people can see it everyday. However some of use choose not too.

  • If I wanted to purchase one of these do you know who I should contact at Sony? I realise it is a prototype but I am sure there is a price they would be willing to sell at.

  • i cant imaging a world with glasses free 3d i walk inside my friend house and a soccer ball is coming at my face

  • @vality1

LOL especially if the 3DTV takes up a whole wall with life like images

  • @vality1 you need to be looking at it , not like it pops out the damn screen

  • @frogman5461 and you need to quit double posting!

  • If M Theory is correct, then I guess one day we'll have 11D tv's.

  • @frogman5461 and you need to jump off a building. guess we don't all get what we want

  • @shammas23 lol frogman =P thats my username

  • sony needs to quit as a company

  • really cool

  • sorry for bad english, im italian, but.... what's the game at 0.24?

  • asians rule in high tech gadgets.

  • wtf 3d is not 3d witout glasses

  • @XXchaoskid21XX HAHA

  • @XXchaoskid21XX 3D without glasses is called - 4D.

  • Comment removed

  • lol what will become of the 3ds now

  • @Ruis0 nothing, this is 2-3 years out, and still only one person can play a 3ds at a time any way so it dont matter.

  • 3d is no fad in the future all tv screans and desplays are gonna be glasses free 3d!!

nintendo (with the help of the people at sharp) made the amazing nintendo3ds...

its not a gimmick its a revolutionairy idea, its like the transition from black and white screans to color tv's and from video tapes to dvd's and then dvds to bluray!! its just technology upgrading, 3d is awsome and playing games in 3d is so cool!!

  • LOL @ The fish 0:35!

  • sony is a damn copy cat

  • @Worgenninja BUT if they can make it a OLED 3d tv, that would be something, true black, glassesless 3d tv with the brightest colors and highest contrast. ......YA

  • these who complains and saying that 3D is pointless have obviously only tried red and blue 3D.....

  • @tommson13 Its pointless because its not 3D but only a an imagination projected on 2D :) I'll wait until a real 3D display is on the market. That means I can change position and look "behind" things.

  • @MillyVanillification ok :) but it still looks good tho, so i cant really understand why so many bitch about it :( u can change position with the glasses free tv

  • @tommson13 lol true

  • OMFG!

  • lol at the fish

  • Price Tag : 99999.99$

  • @Ephics its not about the price tag

  • @lliifvee You're right! It's NOT about the price tag, or making a profit, or all that. It's about US... It's about making the world a better place...about giving back. It's about...It's abo...It's...It's...Aww fuck it, who am I kidding. Where's my money beeyootch?! I want profits! I want a successful 1st quarter, bitches!!

  • @lliifvee Yes it is cos its all afucking rip off and we should be paying less!!

  • @Ephics well i have 9999999.99$ so I'll be good :D

  • @Ephics its not about the money money money.

  • @gajemusic We don't need you money money money! lol

  • I can say goodbye to my eyes now XD

  • My people... Sons and daughters of SONY... This much I vow. The history of these days will be written in blood. By crushing the armies of Microsoft, by seizing the games they thought to turn against us, we were fighting for our very exclusives. But if there are those who would deny us peace, refuse us our rightful place in the Console War, then...we will unleash such TERRIBLE VENGEANCE, THAT GENERATIONS OF SYSTEMS YET UNBORN, WILL CRY OUT IN ANGUISH!

  • @Josse702 I miss Sega. It was just a rivalry back then. What happened to just fist to fist. It's been turned into a bloodbath. Fuck this I'm playing Okami.

  • @Josse702 they should start by releasing a console for less than $1000 at launch..

  • @girass hahahaa true but it works and its reliable and leading the way with new gaming expressiveness's with less limits then Sonys competitors.

  • Make it an OLED and mabye ill buy it :P lcd is so old its like buying a plasma stay with the times man.

  • @Silverz0 LCDs have less problems than plasma. OLED gets screen-burning worse than LCD and plasma combined.

  • @Silverz0 plasma came out after lcd, and in larger screens, where the resolution is at maximum a laughable 2 megapixel's, there isn't much any new tech can do to make it look better..

  • instead of trying to go for 3d, companies should try to work on projection tv.

  • This technology is possible because of something called a parralex barrier that sits on top of the LCD and can direct light in a specific direction. The barrier directs one of the image to your right eye and one image to your left eye giving the spectator a 3D effect. Sharp came out with this technology years ago and used it for gps in vehicles so the driver would see the gps maps while the passenger could watch television on the same screen at the same time.

  • @xxYetterxx big difference between 2 people watching sub-VGA quality video and 6 people watching 12 HD movies at once (2 for each set of eye's), but that's interesting info :) thanks for letting us know

  • @girass I agree with you and from my understanding the technology used to produce this is similar it just splits multiple images creating 6-8 different hot spots allowing for simultaneous viewing. Though the viewer's still need to be a certain distance from the screen in order to work properly. This is my understanding of the technology based on what I've read mind you there are other methods being experimented with to produce an auto-stereoscopic effect

  • i wouldve been nice to know how that hing works :s

  • LCD? why not LED

  • @crippecuz

LED is in LCD. It's just the type of backlighting.

  • "not going to be coming out anytime soon"

Yeah cos corporations are going to squeeze every last cent out of consumers with their goggle 3D tvs. This fad is what made me decide to buy a home theatre projector. I can have either 2D or 3D. My choice. F U Sony & Co. :P

  • Without* not with :/

  • So this convinces me even more,a friend of mine from japan said to me about sony developing software so you can watch 3D with glasses or even a 3d tv, PS3 are going to be updated with this software in the futer so it can play 3D on a standard HDTV,now that would be cool, because the thing i hate about 3D is the glasses, after 15minutes they either itch or my eyes start to feel strained.

  • can anyone please upload a video of this tech IN 3D, so those of us with 3D displays can actually see the 3D effect?

  • Nice

  • crap, toshiba tv are better

  • Yeah Gran Turismo5 is awesome!

  • fuck 2 more years, the bitch ass world ends in 2012 iam not going to enjoy my glasses free 3d tv fuck,

  • This tv is so sweet to watching porn.

  • Dam it. I want that tv now. Why have to wait 2 yrs ? I think they want to sell every last of the old 3d model now then release the new one. Good job Sony

  • finally

  • Next thing you know Sony copies nintendo by putting this in the next psp in an effort to outsell the 3DS which will end up with Sony once again failing to nintendo

Sony needs more experience in the video-game industry before they outsell nintendo

  • @AlongTheHorizonLine experience? nintendo? ahahah....oh man....

    whats next? another mario game....

*Now play as mario and all of his played out characters play rugby and lacrosse*

    sheesh....or maybe pokemon dust particle.....

...nintendo has no life besides gimmicks nowadays...

  • @Scratch2C thats why nintendo is always innovating and sony/microsoft/apple literally take what they have and copy the shit out of it.

  • @17mrbrightside haha if that makes you feel better =)

  • @Scratch2C Gimmicks? They started the handheld system market, motion control and have been making significantly more affordable game systems for years. Most likely the company is older than you are so I would assume that, yes they do have experience and they know what people want. Do you know why they keep making Mario games? Because they are extremely popular and they sell well. Just because you find him boring, does not mean that millions of kids do as well.

  • @xxxBlueIncendiaxxx say that to the millions of kids that were upset their parents got them a wii ....

or maybe you're referring to immature adults......... oooooh!!!!! i see what you did there =)...

long time doing it doesn't equal more experience.

and yes i said it gimmicks, why it should offend you is beyond my knowledge.

Microsoft also fails because its a Nintendo Wannabe casual this casual that.

that you cant afford it doesn't classify something bad or determines it coming second place.

  • @xxxBlueIncendiaxxx by the way... i dont find mario boring. none of the originals were boring. the fact that they keep making new ones...and lack the creative ability to make something new is ridiculous and its even funnier to see people like you defend it because it is more affordable. in the end you get what you pay for. if i want to really enjoy a good mario game I can easily plug in my original NES or my SNESWii? 3DS? no thanks i have no intent on rebuying all my games cause nintendo says so

  • @Scratch2C They're only releasing a select few games on the 3ds that we're previously released, everything else is brand new. And in response to your statement about the 3ds, Playstation phone with only game controls and no touchscreen or alphanumeric keys? No thanks it would be a hassle just to dial a phone number let alone text on it. Could you imagine using a text input system like the Xboxs (without any accessories) to text? It'd be a pain in the ass

  • @AlongTheHorizonLine Touch screens dont exist in your ...

    ?

    huh? you lost me now....

  • @Scratch2C Even if they're gimmicks they work do they not?

  • $8999.99 for the 32 inch!

  • I think 3d tvs with glasses are better 1. cause it feels like you are at the movie theater and 2. the images look closer to you and it actually looks like it comes out of the tv because the glasses are closer to your eyes. That tv still looks cool but i prefer with glasses.

  • wait wtf how does that tv work, i thought you always needed glasses to watch 3-D, shit just gets crazier every year, i can still remember when my tv had a door knob to switch the 3 channels i had that where black, white, and orange colours

  • @4SangreNueva19 si yo tambien recuerdo eso. En esa epoca la tv tenia menos tecnologia pero mejor contenido

  • 2012!!!

  • I was there on Thursday and this blew me away. I was in awe. AND it's not like the 3DS tech. Can't wait for these.

  • toshiba tv looked better

  • CRAP. It's probably a fat TV with like multiple layers of glass each with different images....or it's freaking projecting...or it's freaking futuristical science. HOW THE EFF IS THE FUTURE SO EFFING CLOSE?

  • @DeathSkwid it probably has face recognition technology which aims the 3d to the person or people using it. There was a laptop at CES which does just that.

  • @DeathSkwid It's got four panes of glass, the TFT LCD and then the adhesive. Impressively, all those together is only 0.935 mm thick, I don't know about the rest of the screen though. I wouldn't really call it the future though, Johny Lee has come up with much better designs which he's already proven, several years ago. Not each layer has an image by the way, one is polarized, another is liquid crystal, another has TFT LCDs in it. I doubt the quality is that great. But it's a proof of concept.

  • What racing game is that?

  • how does it work?

  • crap i bought a 55" inch 3D TV with shutter glaces a couple of month ago for the price of a second hand car. They better not introduce a glass-free-3D TV in the near future, lol

  • @rabihhammad sorry Toshiba is selling 92" inch 3d TV for 6000 dollars in this year you have to have patience and search what kind of stuff is coming near future

  • I was at CES today. It's just like last year. There's nothing innovative there.

  • sony all ways one step head

  • this 3d cap is an fad...if u want 3d that bad...take a look out of your living room window

  • @deathsmiles4u dude, 3d displays is simply the direction that the technology is moving. its not really a question of weather you want it or not, its just a question of when does it becomes affordable enough that non 3d displays go off the market. much the same as flat panel displays spelled the end of crt displays. and if i remember correctly people said much the same thing about flat panels (i waited until their refresh rate and response times got close to crts to get one mainly response time)

  • @deathsmiles4u what do you think people thought when color TV came out?

  • @deathsmiles4u Of course we should all spend time outdoors, but many will always relish an immersive experience in a fantasy world.

  • @deathsmiles4u you must not be a video gamer, cuz every gamer would love it over anything else, and ontop of that do you really think once ppl start watching NFL NBA an all other sports in 3D that they wil wan2 go back?? HIGHLY doubt its a fad, maybe for making evry darn cartoon movie in 3d is but 3d will stay and in 10 years you will have one..

You prob said 10 years ago oh these thin screens are a fad, and i bet your lookin at one right now

  • @deathsmiles4u the 1 thing i see going for 3d (besides middle aged mums with low IQ's and kids who only see the 3d in their Impressionable imaginations) is REAL environments, when you can look across the Savannah and see the difference in distance between each blade of grass, 3d CAN be really impressive, but most if it's rubbish.

  • @deathsmiles4u 3D tv's are mainstream now, don't see it fading any time soon, deny it all you want, its no longer a gimmick.

  • @deathsmiles4u That's a stupid argument, the whole point is to replicate our world in perfect detail. WHY THE FUCK DO WE HAVE TECHNOLOGY FOR THEN? GO OUTSIDE AND MAKE FIRE WITH ROCKS YOU NEANDERTHAL!

  • @deathsmiles4u i never seen so many complains for the blue-ray... it was more pointless than 3D..... i actually didnt see so much different from blue-ray and normal DVD.... yet eveybody complains about 3D....

  • @deathsmiles4u you cant see space ship battles and blue alien people climbing giant trees out your window now can you?

  • OH SHIT PORN IN 3D..I WOULD PREFER VIRTUAL REALITY LIKE THE MOVIE STRANGE DAYS..IMAGINE THAT

  • And once again...Sony stole an idea from nintendo -__-

  • @SyluxGT Sorry, but Nintendo did not invent parallax barrier display panels. This technology has been in development for years.

  • @RATIOETVERITAS they still got the idea from the 3ds

  • @RATIOETVERITAS - Actually, Nintendo is the first company to attempt stereoscopic displays. They created a failure known as the Virtual Boy, and they were experimenting with 3D for many years, including on the gamecube.

  • @SyluxGT PANASONIC developed this a long time ago...

  • Actually there is some degrading when you are not straight on. There are a bunch of shadow curves that show up when not straight on as well as it hurts your eyes. I say it yesterday morning. And I'm not the only one that says that. Straight on actually does look pretty good though.

  • Not coming out anytime soon, maybe a year or two?!?! A year or two IS SOON! Tard

  • @ndyt Not soon enough though.

  • @222kaiba, already out in Japan, you could get one from there.

  • This video didn't really explain anything.

  • nigga technology

people who spent all that money on a 3d tv already deserve for it to be obsolete

  • Oh, you wanna buy it, go FUCK yourself, we're selling tons of 3D'tvs with glasses, if you wanna get in on this you gotta buy our other shit first. Great, 2 more years of fucking glasses, like people who can't see well love to wear them. Maybe samsung will make a 3D tv glassless around 3Q. better to hope than to wait for fucking Sony. Goddamn, 2 years, and they expect everybody to have money by then, goddamn.

  • Sony is the BEST

  • i like this asian brain dude, his cute ;P

  • im saving right now i love sony..everything i have is sony

  • Crap i just bought a bravia 3DTV lol

  • HAHA THE FISH

  • LOL keep pressing 6 with small intervals :P that fish is awesome

  • eye strain TO THE MAX!!

  • @bati555 hahaha good call. you'l probs look at the screen for 1 second n get a seizure lol

  • Killzone 3 would be amazing on that 3D LCD TV....

  • Finally.

  • all tvs are 4D, it takes time to watch them

  • @clanOT lol right you are the only who speaked the truth man!

  • Did that bitch Sarah made you show the TV size like that ?

  • Sony apresenta 3D sem óculos mas não informa data de lançamento no varejo. Veja

  • maybe this will force a price drop on those overly expensive shutter glasses

  • Stop talking about 4D, you won't get 4D in your house until this world of humans wants to change into a technologically advanced species.

  • loooool, so now we can buy 3d tv with glasses around 100 USD :P

  • Eurogamer.pt

  • All those people that bought 3d tv with glasses are gonna look dumb in a couple of years. Oh oh you mean you have to put on glasses to watch 3d on your tv? In 5yrs people won't even remember 3d tv when you had to wear glasses.

  • @bogellenong 4D is not possible unless you stop time....

  • I would never consider buying a 3d tv. I just recently saw a movie in 3d for the first time. As cool as it is, it can really put a beating on ones eyes. What ever happened to keeping and living a healthy life? Pretty soon, we will see this on the news as a warning to lower health, and possibly to kill... I honestly believe that. And if this is where the future is going, I'm gonna remain old school.

  • Yes yes yes

  • fucking sexy

  • Porn movies will be great on these TVs!

  • @Vik13vik A men brotha!

  • I found NEMO!

  • I am going to save my money by not buying these shitty 3-d tvs and wait for hologram tvs

  • 3D TV! Omg, i can finally watch Seinfield the way it was meant to be!

  • 2012 is a load of bullbird.

  • @Chonson

how many bullbirds are in a load?

  • 0:14 "My Precious!"

  • No joke. But just recently on the news, there was a kid who died of playing too much video games.

  • @AnimeSage285

like from a seizure or something? i bet he was playing Halo.

  • I'm not dissing Sony here or anything, but remember the Virtual Boy and how it was bad for your eyes? Well, this will be no different. Yeah, it's really cool and everything, but this will no doubt cause a decrease in many peoples vision. The same thing holds true for the 3DS, but at least with that you can turn the 3D off.

  • @JMFSpike Doctors just said the 3DS won't be bad for you, in fact it might help. Remember the 3DS is 3D with no glasses aswell.

  • @JulyFishHD Yeah, I just read that too. I still can't see this being any good for the eyes, though. I guess we'll find out soon enough.

  • @JMFSpike Yea true, I couldn't belive it either how it could possibly be good for your eyes.

  • @JulyFishHD Yep. I'm not saying they're wrong, but it is hard to believe.

  • 3d is nonsense

  • type won before yotube.com

  • 3d can already be done on youtube if you have a 3d monitor and 3d graphics card
