haha ! while attempting to fil an accident , a driver was involved in an accident while attempting to film an accident ! cellphones and vehicles do not mix!
i have a memory card and i have that same problem it only lets me record for like 24 seconds so i dont think it has to do with that cause its a 2gb memory card
I have a quick question about this product. Can you receive emails without internet access, and what do you have to have internet access for? I'm gonna be using it for tmo and I'll upload a video as soon as I get it.
The only way to get email without a data plan would be Wi-Fi and a wireless network available. This version of the Blackjack has no wi-fi support. The "Blackjack 2" coming out later this month might.
It's not like I was driving through a peephole in the back of the phone. I was watching the road maneuvering the phone around where I thought it should look.
Excellent quality man! i'm still thinking about buying one. Tip: Next time don't play with your cell phone and drive. Millions lives have been lost doing so, and when ur next, your never going to expect it. Cheers*
I don't work for AT&T or Samsung. Try re-installing ExpressMail. It could be that you've filled the phone up with emails. Try deleting some and then reboot the phone. If that fails, use google.
Call Cingular customer service. That happened to me and I seem to recall a call in which a lot of keyboard hits were heard and then my email began working again.
The battery might die before you run out of room on your memory card. You can probably record for 4 hours or more on the highest quality video setting.
I just checked and if you get the 2Gb memory card, you could shoot one continuous 16 hour video. That's big enough for several DVDs shrunk down to 320x240 pixels.
It takes MicroSD flash memory storage cards. The video camera application uses a lot of the phone's resources. The battery will die long before you run out of storage space.
That will depend very heavily on how much data you send/receive with the phone. With no data/calls you can expect 3 or 4 days on a single charge. With a data plan and applications running that regularly send/receive data like email, it can be as short as 18 hours.
Video recording time is constrained by your remaining memory. I added a 500mb MicroSD card to the phone. I just checked and a 10.5 Mb movie shot at normal setting was 4 minutes and 45 seconds so that's around 4 hours of video.
The Samsung Blackjack's video camera is really good as you can see. The video that came out of my phone is actually notably better than what you see here on YouTube. Next time some crazy S*@t happens, there should be no excuse not to have it on video.
i hav this phone my one video is filmed with it

thanks! getting one for grad. how long do you think it will last for txting and some music and pictures?
yIPPIEyOWLER 4 years ago
Texting won't be a big deal. It's the applications that are constantly running and using the data connection that drain the battery so quickly.
kchastain3 4 years ago
like what? i will use it mainly for music (how much can it hold?) and txting and calling
yIPPIEyOWLER 4 years ago
Music -- it takes MicroSD cards so it holds up to whatever size those cards are.
The weather plugin set on 'current conditions' and email will drain the battery very quickly.
michellekmcdonald 4 years ago
awesome.thanks. Im thinking of getting this phone(either this or the blackberry pearl) They make the
cards up to 2gb's right?
