Truly a divine scene, no one can touch her Ophelia! and she is doing it at the met this year with my favorite baritone Simon Keenlyside!!! Does anyone know if you can buy this recording! Her mad scene from the this same production is just other worldly!
As we say in the U.S. - "friggin' beautiful." I just saw Hawaii Opera Theater do a great job on "Romeo and Juliet" and I gotta say, the French are underrated in their ability to bring Shakespeare to life. "Beatrice and Benedict," "Romeo and Juliet" and "Hamlet" are a French trio that can almost hold a candle to the three great Verdi Shakespeare works (Macbeth, Otello, Falstaff). OK, "almost," but you get my point.
Bravo Thomas and Natalie.

She is amazing I have to try to get to New York when she sings this in 2010 with Keenlyside and Larmore.

Wow. He can do roles like this perfectly, and he'd rather go out and ruin his voice on "Simon Boccanegra". I don't get it.

That position is not easy to sing for her, i've heard her sang this duet at 1992, this is also great and thank you.
