I always loved this man, and always will. Fogerty is like from other planet. I love him. I grew up with him, I continue living with his company and I will become an old man with his help. Thanks, John.
I don't remember exactly when this song was published, but i think i was 15 or 16 years old. I listened to the radio that evening - later then i went out and met some friends - they all had listened to the same radio station and all of them said, that 'bad moon rising' was one of the greatest ever. So it's still today !
@Kingandtroubadour, one of the most favorite songs of mine too. Surprisingly, this song refers to the Holy prophecy of our God Jesus Christ (this prophecy has been revealed recently) about the sad death of America (as a continent) - after frequent earthquakes, hurricanes and flood the ocean will cover it just before the apocalypse, as it is a second native land of anti-christ.
@2106u wow are you a religious zealot or something why you gotta put a comment like on a song that's upbeat and you can bop to i think your just trying to prove that just because the world is encountering this stuff its the work of anti-christ.
@2106u how does it refer to a recently revealed prophecy? it was released in 1969. it was written about the apocalypse that will visit us all, even you disadvantaged idiots. incidently, im amazed that you fuckers have even heard of the internet, never mind youtube. have you emigrated from georgia then? where are you from now?
@streetender1878, I am not going to reply your offenses. I am Georgian, live in Georgia and do not plan to leave my homeland (although around million Georgians have to live far from their native land due to satanic external USA/Kremlin joint policy, details of which you can find in description of my channel).
Sorry for my moderate English, probably I should write that this brilliant song replies or echoes the holy prophecy of our God about the fate of America. Thomas Eliot has described this sad end in one of his poems. Prophecies can be changed only if we regret our sins and love each other. I do not see such a desire among Globalists of Russia and USA so far
@castletriglav, I am an orthodox christian and you are an idiot not respecting the holy prophecies. Eventually USA will pay for it's savage things made in last decades worldwide, unless the whole nation will regret sincerely the loality to US foreign policy.
@2106u maaaaaan, why you gatta bring this stupid talk to a page with such beautiful music, go ruin a beiber song with your bullshit..........DOO DOO DOO lookin out my back door!
cmon guys you now are the cocaine effects, but he can do everything Its Ok he are our god and belong to us.so ok we go the bathroom are new version. Thanks for live and for all you give to us John
John Fogerty is such a force of nature. Not sure how old he is here, but he sure has a lot more fire left in him than most of his peers. I used to watch a lot of clips from this show, but it's been a while, and now there's a lot with sub-par sound. This sounds really good though - thanks for posting. Check my channel for some good raw blues, btw...
I came across this song as I began reading chapter 22 of Stephen King's novel "The Shining" where he quotes some of the verses of this song and gives credit to John Fogerty for using it. Thank you Stephen King for making me aware of John Fogerty :D
@pharman15 Not 100% sure but i think its a Gibson Les Paul Custom based on the headstock. You can get them at pretty much any guitar shop like guitarcenter. Just ask someone there for it. They cost quite a bit.
@Django5198 it was on a vh1 special they had in the 90's but can't really remember where or exact year but i would say around 1994-1998. i think it is on dvd on vh1 concerts
@BayouBluesMan It could be a 60's, I have seen a few 50s with the silver top knobs. I know he owned a 50s LPC. On his site or somewhere else it lists all the guitars he used. Hes always had nice Gibsons and Ricks
So do I, we had great music back then and truely talented people like John Fogerty, unfortunately they are an extinct specimen now but we still have the music and memories!
@DMReV Absolutely agree with you. You can clearly hear the "badh droom" there. You know he's just messing with his fans at that point. 'course, I've heard he has to pay freaking royalties any time he plays a CCR song, so maybe he's sticking it to the copyright holders?
@colorado152 I really hope so, that was such a BS ruling. I haven't been a huge fan of the major record companies for a long time, but sadly, a lot of my favorite artists get caught up with them.

Have u lied? Have u stolen? Jesus said if you look at a woman with lust you have committed adultery with here in your heart. have u done that?
If God judge’s u by the Ten Commandments will u be innocent or guilty? Heaven or Hell? Does this concern you?
Do u need a Savior from your sins?
