I think Ken spotted it straight away and was very professional to get rid of him (I'm sure it was a man). There have been a few rumours floating about that he will be shifted from his spot and a female presenter will take over. I'm just wondering how Zoe or Liza would have coped in that situation.
Just to make it clear I am NOT dissing female presenters. Ok! I like Zoe very much.
@generalravon Well I don't like either Zoe Ball or Liza Tarbuck. - I think they are too much up themselves, and it's nothing to do with sexism. Ken Bruce is one of Radio 2's most professional presenters, as is Richard Allinson. I think it's everyone's right to like or dislike whom they please.
Sounded like Sarah Kennedy having a laugh at Kens expense...

The voice was too obviously "in character", and it will take more to get past Ken. Nice idea, though, it just needed to be more subtle.
