The flood was pre-iron age. As for wood with no rings due to weathering, the rings are a part of the wood, how would the wood rot away only at the rings and leave no residual traces? Without the rings you would surely have gaps that would be filled up with ice or other airborn material.

If the Earth is 6k-10k yrs old, that puts tech development time at about 4k to 8k years. In 4358 years, we have what we do. There is cause to believe that they had advanced technologies as well.

The "anchor stones are actually observational stands used for holding the eyepieces of ancient surveying equpment.

The crosses are carved at the base of an observation stone which was broken and defaced by Byzantine Christians who saw fit to destroy anything relating to gods or practices which weren't considered Christian.

Oh and the spot where the Ark supposedly is is a natural land formation. There are many such formations in that area of Turkey.
