  • do you only apply them with your finger? or some sort of brush?

  • I can't find Pomegranate Punk anywhere D:

  • Totally need the orange, pomegranate, and gold for the Hunger Games premiere !!!

  • Are they ever to be out in the UK Christine? Thank you for the overview.

  • I need Pomegranate Punk and Bold Gold to have the complete set! I love these!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I got to try them live the colors

  • I bought 6 of these the other day and i LOVE them. I got home late one night and slept in it and the next morning it was still there. They are easy to put on and you can pack shadow on top for really bold colors. Worn alone these eliminate the problem of fallout for me. I think these are great for people who dont have much experience with makeup because you can simply swipe them on with your finger. I'm going to grab the other 4 colors next time i see them on sale.

  • pomegranate punk****

  • I need to get the black and blue ones then I'll have all of them;)

  • I love them even tho the blue and green look the same on me. Just gotta get bold gold fierce and tangy and too cool

  • Have you tried Cynserely Yours Cosmetics? Is an online mineral cosmetics. They have some awesome pigments that will look great on you!

  • Thanks for the review, i found it really helpul. I just want to ask you, does it really last 24 hrs?

  • thats a such a overall good review

  • @fashionjunkie52 Try it with a base.

  • Hey i do like thwm too.they were pretty good for the price.D.m.

  • going to walgreens right now..the teal is my favorite eye color woohooo

  • your amazing with all the swatches, especially on your website. damn you try on alot of lipstick! lol

  • You have all 10 colors that they make. I love them and for those that cannot afford MAC paint pots they are a great alternative. Walgreens has also been doing the B1G1 1/2 off...

  • Leesha just washed her face makeup off and kept the color tattoo on for bed. Said it stayed put. You could test it that way for 24 hours. She only did 16.

  • would the white work as an eyeshadow base??

  • just brought four of them to try out... at the counter they were buy one get one free.. that made my day! :-) keep up the great work!

  • @angelqtpi Where did you see that sale? I'd love to know. (:

  • @DUdancer42 I saw it at my local Rite Aid. The weird thing is that it wasn't advertised as buy one get one free, that's why it surprised me that it scanned that way. I would still check out your local rite aid if you do have one.. maybe they just started the sell?

  • i wish they had yellow lol the yellow would sell

  • hey i have pomegranate punk but i find the staying power isnt more than 3 hours. any idea why?

  • @fashionjunkie52 are you using an eyeshadow primer? that might help(:

  • r they permanent maybelline products?

  • ooo me likey <3

  • cute! i would get Bold Gold or Pomegranate Punk

  • Is there a colour close to Mac Piant Sublime Nature?

  • "The White Frost "Too Cool" one reminds me of a Nyx Eyeshadow Base called "WHITE PEARL"..Is it the same??..I just want to know because I plan to buy all of these and the white one looks so similar to a Nyx base I already have.. =)"

  • @rockblonde101 one line a straight swipe swatch and the other is a blended out swatch

  • Love these pots

  • it's pomegranate punk

  • That s cool that you can now get some decent drugstore products that wear well, long and I personaly love paintpots, but the MAC are an investment, with these, I hopefully will be able to get more colors for the same price. Thanks for also doing videos on drugstore products as they are very useful. I ll be looking out for them in the stores here in Switzerland

  • and by seen how they are swatched i mean two lines in one picture

  • hey, any big temptalia fans, could someone please explain to me how swatches are done? i've seen how like these and swatches in general on the site are swatched twice but I dont get what the difference in the two is?

  • do you know if these are going to be permanently or not?

  • @moeldridge they're permanent

  • i think they do only have ten colors. i love this review and i don't usually watch reviews on products but im so getting them now. thanks!!!

  • do you think that i could use the white one on my waterline with an eyeliner brush?

  • I just got 4 of these at rite aid and two were half off because rite aid is having a sale this week on 50% off all maybelline stuff! They are $6.69 originally and $3.34 half off. I got Bad to the Bronze, Bold Gold, Tenacious Teal, and Painted Purple! I love them!!!! I wore painted purple with UD Gravity from the BoS 4 over it yesterday and i got so many questions and compliments about it!!!! Love them!!!!

  • Is pomegrante pink a close dupe for MAC's Idyllic? I missed that boat.

  • @12quillemall5321 , HI its actually called "Pomegrante Punk" ( not pink ) its a warm copper / bronze colour :)

  • wow I really wanna try these! unfortunately i don't think they're available in my country. :( thanks for the review though. :D

  • Where can i buy these in Australia... or what website can i get them from that ships to Australia please...

  • @princessmel3434 they'll turn up in chemists here eventually :)

  • Got 2 of these! I'm liking them so far.

  • I didn't hear you say it so I'm assuming these are not waterproof? What is a good cream shadow or pencil that is easy and waterproof. During the summer I don't like wearing eyeshadow because I'm in the water all the time. I want a good all over color (maybe blend two). I like the MUFE ones, but are too expensive. Would you recommend the UD 24/7 shadow pencils? Or something else? Thanks!!!!

  • I just left walmart & I got the last 3 they had I really want pomegranate punk & bad to the bronze

  • How do bad to the bronze & bold gold compare to mac's indianwood?

  • Tested on animals. Yuck.

  • oh i hope they will sell them in europe too!!!

  • @ibag87 They get to Germany (don't know for the rest of Europe) in the beginning of February

  • I love your videos and blog but sometimes I wish you got passionate about what you are talking about. Sometimes it feels very formulaic and informative. I wish sometimes you would just say "this one is gorgeous!" or "I love this product"

  • It's pomegranate PUNK.

  • I know you've only had them a week or so, but could you do a follow up letting us know if they dry out in the pot pretty quickly or not?

  • @bridgetcarnes I've had mine for over a month and they're fine.

  • Great review as always i luv these cream shadows i bought 9 out of 10 and thats only because i had a few mac gold paintpots but i luv luv luv them. They were hard to find they were sold out almost every where but i found them lol

  • Did you use a primer before applying these? I'm just wondering if they would last 12hrs without one.

If you did use a primer, what did you specifically use? THANKSS =)

  • @fallenangel8688 No, I didn't use a primer

  • @temptalia Wow.. thats awesome! Thanks so much Christine!

  • How do these compare to MakeUp for Ever Aqua Cream?

  • @GBFandCo Aqua Creams are drier

  • At my local walgreens they are on sale buy one for $6.99 and get a 2nd 50% off (3.50)

  • @BeauDeeAddict, thanks so much I will try there for sure! :) xoxo

  • Would these work as eyeliners?

  • @LiLGx1 I don't see why not!

  • I WANT!!!

  • The gray one looks a lot like Urban Decay's cream eye shadow in Mushroom

  • @FBfan001 I am looking for a good dupe for mushroom, cream or powder. I have both greys in the Maybelline, no match. Closest would be Benefit's Skinny Jeans cream. No one puts the hint of brown in them like Urban! Love it!

  • the lid is actually the bottom. because you have to store them glass side up to see the colour. which is super annoying, they take up so much space. while paint pots can be stored on the side.

  • Are they a limited edition? Please let me know, they are sold out everywhere I go! :(

  • @MakeAbella Try walgreens. Ive had the best luck there

  • For me, i got the shade in tough as toupe and ive worn it throughout the school day alone, which is around 7 hours. And by the 5-6th hour, i had creasing on my lids. But mind you that i have really oily skin and very oily lids. So then the next time i wore it, i made sure to put on shadow insurance and it only creased alittle, it was noticable but not terrible like my first time wearing it.

  • I have the edgy emerald.

  • I LOVE this product. I started with the orange shade and I have collected so many more since. They go on and wear beautifully on mid-tone African American skin, so there is good pigmentation. The color selection is great.

  • Would these work well as an optional cream eyeliner? The consistency and color pay off looks like it would. I could be wrong. Also Thanks for the review!

  • Hi Christine! This is a hugeeee request but have you thought about excluding companies that test on animals? I don't know if that's a big deal to you or not, but I think it may encourage all companies to go cruelty free! Maybelline do test on animals :(

  • Do you think they could be used as a liner? Like a gel liner?

  • I love these however I did open and use a couple of the bronze and gold colors thinking that the name is on the top and can't figure out which is which....lol oh well I love them anyway. I have six colors.

  • now maybelline needs to come out with mac party parrot and flamingo then i'd be set

  • that taupe one looks sooooooooooooooooooo gooooooooooooooddddd

  • I heard about this product from YT and rushed to my Ulta with every intention of getting them BOGO 50% off. I had to search for them, they weren't where the other Maybelline products were. When I found the display, almost every color was gone and the sales associate said there were no more...I checked at WalMart and they had every color available and were conveniently located in the Maybelline section and were over $1 less...Target also had these at the same price as Ulta...love them! ♥~Tonya

  • Creased after 3-4 hours. Layered, Urban Decay primer, Edgy Emerald, Mac shadows, and set with MUFE HD powder. Beautiful color and worked well with powder shadows.

  • i hated purple.. i couldnt build up the colour

  • I like the way you did this video! Thanks for the review!!

  • great review thanks .. i was hoping you did a video about these. im going to purchase some

  • Do they work well as glitter adhesive?

  • @42OneLoveForever I don't think they would - they dry down pretty quickly and aren't sticky

  • i hope u could make a tutorial with these.... using only these products!!! then i'll subscribed...

  • I want these! So what if they test on animals what company doesn't? How do you know if its true or not? We get tested on every second of the day by the gov. chemical trails, msg in our food, flu shots.lol. Live life people everything is out of our control in one way or another.

  • Im a big MAC paint pot lover, but I gotta say that this is a good dupe for them. There are very inexpensive and have great color payoff. Thanks for the review.

  • LOVE! Definitely have to get the neutral shades! Great review! xo

  • do you think they'll be good for eyeliner on the upper lash line? would they smudge?

  • i love these :)

  • Uh...they are not like PaintPots =/

  • Bummer they test on animals, I'd actually really like to try these. They look quite interesting.

  • @bethbr00tality I have heard for many years that Maybelline does NOT test on animals and is very much against it. So It would be worth looking into if you really want to purchase these.

  • @CatalinaXHeartcore lol, unfortunate a simple google search will show that there isn't a single source on the internet that says they do NOT test (ie: they do). they say they're trying to find alternatives and tend to not test on finished products, which means they test ingredients, which is where the majority of testing occurs (and is, on the whole, almost entirely unnecessary nowadays).

i'm not trying to get in a fight, nor was i ever. my op was neutral as possible.

  • It's Pomegranite Punk not Pink. Haha. :) Nice review, as always. You don't disappoint. I'm on the fence for this company due to the animal testing but I suppose since what's done is done might as well try it...

  • are these going to be permenant or are they limited edition?

  • does anybody know if these will be in UK?

    would love to try them!

    xx

  • Are they going to be available in the UK, do you know?

  • Is "Audacious Asphalt" similar to MAC's "For Effect" paint pot from this past holiday?

  • what camera are you using?

  • i love these but I'm sad that maybelline tests on animals.. :(

  • These are $5.99 at most Targets I believe, just so everyone knows :)

  • Comment removed

  • is it better to use a brush or your fingers

  • Hi Christine :) do you by any chance know when these are available internationally, or more specifically, the UK? xx

  • I hope that they´ll come to germany, too. I´ll buy all of them ;P.

  • @emeraldc83 try using these without UDPP under them. I used UDPP the first time I tried them and they creased like crazy BUT THEN I tried it without and no creasing, smudging or fading. I think it has something to do with the color tattoo's adhering to ur skin properly, and they can't with a primer idk but it worked for me lol hope that helps

  • Do they work as eyeliner?

  • I bough 2 last night and I can't wait to try 'em out!

  • do you know whether these will be available internationally?

  • @ZornAllein I live in canada. and they're here for me. at my walmart.

  • I picked up two of these recently and I was really surprised at how fabulous they are. I'm really glad I decided to check them out!

  • OMG! I hope we get those in Austria! they sound incredible! I love MAC paint pots but I am not too much into their colours so these look amazing!

  • According to Maybelline's website there are currently on 10 shades.

  • will these come out in the uk

  • I miss a buttery shade, or a shade close to a lighter skintone. A light pink or more nude.

  • I have Bad to the Bronze and Tough as Taupe. Love them both, esp together! ;)

  • anybody know if these products gonna be available in SE Asia?

  • I love these 24hr eyeshadows they don't crease on me at all. I did notice that wearing a base under them wasn't a good idea though! The base stops the shadows from sticking on my lid and it slides more.

  • do u need to use a primer with these?

  • @demaki3 no, you can wear them just on their own :)

  • Hello I am a new subbie..I am wondering what do u think about the loreal new ones that have come out? no one has mentioned them!

  • @quincytoland I second this! and maybe the maybelline blushes too please!

  • Anyone know if these will launch in europe?

  • @kristina7911 They are. I've seen them here in Denmark, and if they're available here, they probably also is everywhere else in Europe :D

  • I've gotten all of them and love them all. There is only 10 I hope they do come out with more colors. I got mine at walmart and they cost 5.84 each that's the cheapest I found. I've gotten a couple from CVS and they had buy 1 get 1 50% off. Thanks for the review!

  • I really want these omgosh

  • I was looking at these 24/7 eyeshadows in a magazine. Do you get products from Dior? I was looking at some of their eyeshadow quads for awhile and I was wondering is it worth it? I purchased their lip addict Chapstick and 2 of their mascaras. I tried the lip product and it was awesome! Haven't tried the mascaras yet.

  • you are the best ~~thank you ~

  • Didn't think I have oily eyelids but I guess I do because these crease on me wven with udpp under

  • I wish they had more neutral/creamy shades with no shimmer like a painterly but i look forward to buying these... on sale of course <3.

  • I need these, hope the UK get them.

  • I have all but 2 shades...the white color and the Pomagrated Punk, I own the ted color that came out with the MAC Posh Paradise collection. I was hating the Bold Gold for a minute, but I was using it under gold eyeshadow it just has too much shimmer for that. You should pick up the beautiful mint green color, it has no shimmer. Its gonna be fab with some of the Spring Palettes I'm planning on picking up from Lancome and Stila. Good video.

  • I hope they'll arrive soon in Italy!

  • Do you know if they're going to be sold in Europe? x

  • I had the same issue with the purple one but I got the gold one as well and I love it!

  • i've gotten two of these, the tough as taupe and the orange one...i've been usuing and loving the taupe. i've used it both alone and with a shadow and had no issues other than i may have used more product then needed to get a look from them. : ) i'm smitten.

  • I want to get the mint green one :) x

  • There are only 10 as far as I know.

  • Great video!!!

  • Toughest Taupe creased and moved on me with a primer after 4-5 hours of wear alone. Haven't tried it with shadow on top yet.

  • i love these! i have oilier eyelids and mac paint pots crease within 2 hours for me, but i can wear these for up to 8 hours and i have no creasing or chipping, the color does fade out a little bit but its a great drug store dupe!

  • I hope well get them soon in austria cause i cant find them :-(

  • These creased and faded on me after 3-4 hours of wear, did anyone else have this problem?

  • @rebelwithcause Thats really odd, mine wore for a whole day really well... Do you have oily lids? Could have possibly gotten a defective one as well =\

  • I have all ten and love them!

  • i wonder if we would be able to get them in Australia, because i still havnt seen the revlon lip butters yet :(

  • Do you think that toughest taupe could work as a waterproof eyebrow product? i have pretty dark brows

  • @astridlouise158 It's kind of purple-tinted, so I don't know if it'd be an appropriate eyebrow shade

  • @astridlouise158 i've been using it to fill in my eyebrows.. i think as long as you dont have red tinted hair it's fine!

  • Would these dry out quickly? And when is this avaliable internationally?

  • @Greerlovesmakeup They shouldn't, but I couldn't tell you for sure since I haven't had these for years

  • @Greerlovesmakeup I got mine at walmart :)

  • I would love if they add more colors to this collection!! I have all 10 & love them!! I want to see a matte white, black & a skin toned color.

  • How long before they dry? Should you wait for them to dry completely before putting powder shadows on top? Or while it's still wet?

  • @angieliddiard 10-15 seconds? It's not very long. You can do it either way - it is easier to blend when it's drier, but really, by the time you finish applying the product and get the eyeshadow, it's mostly dry, if not dry!

  • our these going to be permanent products or are they limited edition?

  • @Eliz0391 permanent :)

  • @PreeyaDanceMusicFilm thanks :) they are sold out everywhere i go look for them :/

  • The Taupe one looks gorgeous but the name of the line is kind of cheesy. The packaging could have been much better for such a good product.

  • They worked really well on me and I have oily lids

  • I don't care if these work well or not. Maybelline tests on and tortures animals. I'm not going to support a company who supports animal cruelty

  • Packaging aside- what do you think differentiates this from a high end product?

  • @twinkleandpout Nothing that I can visually see/feel/touch. There might be differences in the grade/quality of the ingredients and composition, but since I'm not a cosmetic chemist, I couldn't tell you!

  • These look pretty cool and price isn't super terrible but would it be possible to do a makeup tutorial doing a few different methods? This is something i am i
