In another motorsport tragedy, after 50 years of operation Oran Park racetrack was sold and is now a housing estate. Along with Amaroo Park and Warwick Farm, a city of 4 million people loses another irreplacable resource. THE SUPERCAR EXPERIENCE now unfortunately has no home. A real shame. Wow, I hadn't logged on to youtube for a while and I've seen so many views of this video - This was given to me as a 21st gift from my family... it really was a great experience for someone who's hard to buy for!
Driver is Kevin Burton (not Kevin Bartlett, as some might guess from the "KB"). Oran Park, before it closed. US$ has parity with AUD right now, so $495. Quite expensive, but not when you consider it is a REAL supercar and not detuned from Bathurst spec in any way. This is the ex-Alan Jones (yes, world champion F1 driver) 1998 Bathurst EL Falcon built by Tony Longhurst. A few laps to get the tyres warm before KB gets stuck in.

Hmm I would not knock back any ride in a V8 Supercar, looks like you had fun and that I did at SBR Sponsor day Dec 2009 at QLD Raceway. Awesome experience all day to actually go in their cars that they race & not just their practice cars....Enjoyed the day out their with the the Shane the giz, Alex Davison & Tim Slade. If anyone gets the opportunity to do that ......go for it. Great experience :)))))
Ya beat a V8 supercar, who was the driver?? I've never been around the short Oran park version, only the full good!! for Hotlaps tho these things have lots of torque as you would have found out great vid mate!!!
