WOW, amazing, thanks!!! You are a GREAT teacher and as an adult beginner, I totally appreciate what you are offering us. You are giving me a tremendous gift. (and I found you on Christmas night, too.) ;-)
I've played guitar for many years but following an accident, the index finger (1) on my left hand now has no sensation and tends to get in the way (if muscle and nerve memory does exist, then I can believe it because the finger now never seems to 'know' where it's meant to be even when I'm looking). I've been playing with mostly fingers 2 &3 and also making more use of pinky (4), so your video plus a set of 2-finger chord diagrams I've found are REALLY useful. Thanks.
That is so great to hear! It really makes me feel good to hear that someone is helped by these lessons. That's what it's all about! Thanks so much for viewing and making this great comment!
What can I say besides thanks at 57 I decided to pick up a guitar, you have made it so easy to learn, in two days I've learn more than I ever expected, with two fingers.
I started July 25th and set a goal of August 25 to learn a song. I can only get better...
I say "GO FOR IT'! I have been playing guitar since I was 8 years old, and have learned more about it in the last 5 years than I learned all that time! I want folks to know that playing the guitar is a lot easier if you know a few of the tricks. I am all about sharing the tricks! Have a great day, and thanks for viewing and your wonderful comment!
THANK U VERY MUCH FOR TAKING THE TIME TO MAKE THIS VIDEO AND SHARING THIS INFORMATION WITH US, I WENT TO SLEEP PRACTICING SOME OF THESE CHORDS AND WOKE UP HERE LISTENING, THANKS AGAIN!!!!GOD BLESS
This is just awesome Eric.....I have totally become addicted to your videos!!!! I've said it a million times, and I'll say it once again.....you are the most AMAZING music teacher I have ever had the pleasure of knowing!!! You make things so easy and simple to remember!!!! You never cease to amaze me!!!! If I could I would tell every parent in the upstate, that if they have a child that wants to try a musical instrument, you are the man for the job!!!! It's a decision they would never regret!
that's brilliant, thank you :)
