@segarza Too much is not better than not enough. Research Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO). This is probably mostly for livestock and High Fructose Corn Syrup and not for feeding people. If it can feed people then we need to put it to use, but alas it is probably GMO corn and therefore poison.

@JackHL k so animals eat GMO crops and who eats the animals.. If GMO crops are bad for you it would be better the eat the crop and not the animal, because a pig eats like 2.7 kg of feed to gain one kg of meat..

I know what year the video is from. The flooding I was referring to was from hurricane Katrina, 2005. Flooding serves the purpose of depositing nutrients onto the land. I was just thinking those nutrients are the reason for such a huge yeild.
