I have a ME degree and at first I was blown away. I knew losses were going on I just couldn't figure out where the new energy was coming from. While he built a fairly efficient machine his free energy was coming from his massive capacitors. It would die down immediately without them.
Over-unity is impossible. It has NEVER been achieved, and cannot. Newton's basic laws - energy cannot be created nor destroyed. This is a hoax, and the presenter a typical crackpot charlatan. If "free energy" had ever been achieved, why would we still be using coal, natural gas, and oil? Decades now, and clueless people still cling to an impossible concept. IT'S NOT POSSIBLE PEOPLE. Try this video for yourself -- it absolutely, 100%, will not work. Nor any of the others.
The only problem I see, that would make this fail, is that after extended periods of use, the mechanism will create heat, from friction, and that will eventually evaporate the water. creating the need to replenish the water. But a great idea, all the same.

I belive this compleatly amazing i have a power inverter on a batterie with a charger and the chager back in the power inverter and i ran my room off it for 6 weeks you should try that and see if you can get it to work better than it did for me because it ended up overheating.

This is an illusion, the energy stored is like that stored in a fly wheel, if you watch the video after the guy has disconnected the mains power the unit is seen to gradually slow down, eventually it will stop or stall. What this invention pertains to is perpetual motion, which doesn't exist. You can't beat the laws of thermodynamics.
Another idea you could do to greatly increase its effecency is to use magnetic cogging instead of belts. this way youll get rid of any friction and increase useable power output. I use magnetic cogging on zero point generators and it works very very well. The magnets are quite expensive though buit are a one time investment. for 6 wheels it cost me about 600.00 for the magnets and the rest of the parts for the generator were less than 100.00 but youll need the tools as well (lathe, mill etc)
This one is even more idiotic than many others....It is what happens when morons play with technology. Study about moment of inertia...You store electrical energy in the flywheels and later use it to pump the water for 5-10 mins....what is great about that?? I watched an "old" (over 70) year old man run a magnet generator at a home improvement trade show. I was amazed as he stated magnets are gods gift to man and we don't use them. This thing was all mechanical, went clickty clak, clickty clak, but ran AND he had a small generator attached. He just gave it a spin and it start going. To keep the machine from overaccelerating, he HAD to have it slowed down by the pull of the generator. If he detached the generator, it immediately surged.
Let me explain it another way, think of a mechanical watch that you wind up - it seems winding it up doesn't take much energy and it will run for days/weeks - some of them months once this is done. Same concept here. The initial energy input is just large enough for a 10 minute (or more) demo.
The amount of energy used initially to run the pump and charge the cap far exceeds the 10 minutes this ran for in the claimed demo. Also think about it people, pumps and generators don't run with 100% efficiency, a lot of energy is lost as heat, then you have the resistance from turning the flywheel.
In perfect conditions, with 100% efficiency this will run indefinitely but won't produce any more power than required to keep running itself - conditions here are very far from perfect.
There have been thousands and thousands of free energy projects over the years. There has not been one brought to the market. The idea goes against the basic laws of physics. These laws have seen man stand on the moon so to those who dont believe they should be respected I in turn can not respect your comments. There is no need for rude comments here but skeptics have the same rights as believers do. If this was running in my garage and MADE more energy then it consumed then I would buy it.

This gives legitimate experimenters a bad name. At 4:31 the video is obviously edited so the hidden power source could be connected to keep the thing running. And one second later, immediately after "Okay, that's the revolutions I should need, right there", the audio is also spliced. One practice of a successful con artist is to churn the masses until someone with money is found - then get him alone.

He ran the machine in the middle of his garage for about 10 minutes.There was no outside current, nor any hidden wires connecting to the generator.There were a half dozen people there at the demonstration and we all saw the same thing. This was no stage prop nor was this a scam - it worked. Skeptics have no clue as to just how much work this guy has completed on his generator.
If it truly creates (more than) enough energy to run itself, then unplug the light (the load,) plug in the pump to the generator, and give it a starting spin. It should run forever.

He should install a switch from live current to the self-propelled current of the machine. It would make start-up easier. I built on of these for my 10th grade science fair. It ran for 3 days before it stopped. It's not FOREVER, but it used 91% less outside energy than a bulb on it's own, and only during start-up did it need outside power. This is not very innovative, but if you can build one that last forever (or at least a long time) you are far ahead of me, who has no plans for this project.

@ ibrihamalsam, et al. re: wheels appear to be going backwards....they are not. This is a phenomenon known as stroboscopic effect (may as well something useful from this post!). I first learned of it when I was 4 or 5 watching a record player – it had spots on the turning deck that appeared stationary at a certain speed. There were 4 rows of differently spaced spots for different RPMs. TV car ads show the wheels as stopped or going backwards as the car is moving for a cool controlled look.

Here is a simplification... think of the capacitors as a rubber ball... 5 feet off the ground...and fully charged ( thanks to being plugged in ) when the power is pulled, the ball is dropped..... it hits the floor, and is recharged ( ie the cap charge powers the water pump to move the turbine wheel and generator, which recharges the caps and provides more power )...so good so far.... Yeah I've seen a couple whilst pissing away an evening. Can't remember how I came across this one but there were constant fights between this guy LiamXiao or something and Ianblan4 which made for humorous reading so I just sort of join in from time to time. Ianblan4 has actually went to this guys garage and saw the machine run and still couldn't find out how he was being duped. Still, it must be pretty cool living in a world where you can reject parts of reality despite proved observations.
Ok you made a machine that can run itself. Very good. believe it or not, it's been done. What else can it do? You are not making any more power than you are using. Plug something else in & see what happens. Like an electric motor. Not a light bulb. If it will keep going you will be a rich man.
There is a more efficient way of doing this-- take the motor from the powerful water pump, make a contraption of flywheels with combinations of pulleys to turn the generator shaft. It has been done by an Australian, Chas Campbell, although not with this motor but it's the same basic concept (without the caps!).
Over-unity? Naah! Just enhanced efficiency. All the things you put in there have energy stored in them. Energy is mass and all matter have mass. matter states are solid, liquid, gas.

@jmsapinoso nap, flywheels increase losses through bearing losses and air resistance. Flywheels are just another energy storing device. Capacitors electrically store energy E=1/2*C*sq(V), flywheels store energy mechanically E=1/2*J*sq(omega) where J is polar moment of inertia and omega is rotational speed. The is no where near efficient, this is powering a pump of a cap, the same performance would occur if you removed the water wheel completely and wired the motor straight to the caps.

I found this video in accident and couldn't believe that people actually thought that this was true. He accepts that a machine can be 100% efficient which contradicts all laws of physics and goes on to say that useful work was not obtained from the machine cause it only powers a light bulb opposed to an electric motor. He is some of their design logic: Pump 70% efficient. Paddle wheel system 20% efficient Generator 90% efficient.
Total efficiency = 70 + 20 +90 = 180%, therefore over unity = free energy.

Have a look at other videos of this ilk. There are folks who make devices that have a higher output voltage than input, therefore over-unity is achieved. Ah boy, this video so weird with the to and fro's. I forgot about this until stormpoet76 took me up on some some point. I will never comment on this feed again in a sense of futility unless the proponents or I think you would say, none skeptics describe why there are such large capacitors in a system that doesn't require it? Tiny Capacitors are used in communications and medium caps in rectifying, this does not require either purpose. I have always been an experimenter since 8 years old.

this machine spins for so long after the external power source is removed as there are large capacitors in the system which store energy when attached to the external power source and release this energy once power removed. Those capacitors are massive, possibly even one farad. Normal rectifying capacitors are measured in microfarads. There is no reason for rectifying, hence capacitors in the system. It is not a hoax and believe that it is disconnected from power but far from self powering.

As I pointed out over a year ago, there are two rather large capacitors (visible at many points including at 6:50). Many others (branded as skeptics) have asked "what are the capacitors for" and there has been no response. Why?
People familiar with electronics know that capacitors STORE ENERGY. They can store a lot of energy just by being exposed briefly to the voltage applied by plugging into the 120V power source at the beginning of the video. This stored energy overcomes the losses...

@jonneybug11 - what laws are you referring to? The laws of physics applicable to this device are defined based on energy flows - they are not based on what technology was like years ago.
This device loses energy through inefficient drives and the generator. When you multiply the efficiency of each device in this system the product would be in the region of 30%. Therefore there is a hidden battery or capacitor in the unit. Simple scam disguised as miracle of electrical engineering.

@lanblan4 there is no possible way this machine can produce energy or even run itself on it's own power, at least not for long. the fact that he uses a pump and water wheel is just ridiculous as you waste way more energy than just using an electric motor to turn the generator. people that believe in free energy believe in magic. read some layman's articles on the laws of thermodynamics and you'll realize why free energy is impossible, not a conspiracy, just a long proven fact.
You would also have to eliminate electromagnetic losses which is incurred in the electrical systems. It would be possible to store energy in his system such that it can be later extracted but he would not be able to maintain the system at equilibrium and extract kinetic energy or electrical energy. Simply put the generator would slow down untill the system collapses.
The first law of thermodynamics states that energy is conserved, it is neither created nor destroyed, it can only be transfered. The machine he proclaims to have created is a perpetual motion machine, which is impossible. In order to simply have a self sustained machine you would have to neglect or eliminate heat losses produced by the pump, friction between moving parts and water resistances.
@argoth387 the problem with this line of thought is simple. The energy transfered took three shots from electrical current source then unplugged from the source AND continued in motion long after the energy was gone. the question is how long will the machine generate energy to sustain itself before it requires another spark.
I'd really like to know what the FACTs are about this experiment: water pump nominal performance (KW), Generator nominal (KWh), Why holes had to be drilled in the generator and where, what kind of re-wiring was done, what capacitors were installed, why and which way are they connected. I'm not a skeptic, I'd just like to fully understand how this was achieved.
All I'm interested in on here, are the possibilities of free energy, whether they work or not I really don't know. I would feel happy if sceptics kindly keep their opinions and closed minded views to themselves as people should be OPEN MINDED! It is not something they just discuss over lunch and then reach a decision on. It takes decades and sometimes even centuries of countless tests with the goal of which litterally being to try and break the theory and prove it wrong. Only once all possible meathods of breaking the theory have failed does it become a scientific law.

It is bad enough that someone builds a machine like this then claims it achieves over-unity (impossible!) but then we have people arguing that it in fact works - that is an indictment or the education system. It is unbelievable that proponents of this device stop assuming they have the knowledge to assess its viability and take the time to go read up on the subject. How hard can that be? Why not just connect the pump motor straight to the generator and then have the generator power the motor? I'll bet you won't find anyone who has made this thing work.

this is awesome, its applications are wonderful especially to places that have no electricity. once the bugs are refined . as a machinist for 15 yrs i can see some things i might try myself but as this is still a work in progress im sure you are leaping in bounds, this will be a product for poor nations in rural areas for sure, at the very least it will provide light for sure, later you will develop larger sizes for more power, but the self containment is the key for portability,
@nileor1 if you can get the paddle wheel out of the water you will not have the drag resistance which would result in a faster speed, but the generator wheel in the water is good to keep the generator cool,

@nileor1 - you do realise this is a scam? Take the water out of the equation altogether. Connect the pump motor directly to the generator and then see how it works. The water wheel is part of the show and is so in-efficient.
@nileor1 The application for this rig extend as far as a decorative water feature in the garden. This system is in fact shrouded in losses. This machine runs on power stored in the capacitors once main power is cut, much like a battery which is charged from the mains. If in the video, the operator were to stop the paddle rotor from spinning hence stopping the generator, the pump would still continue to run as electrical supply will continue to run from the capacitor.
@TheGibbMan I understand all the skepticism and I have written many articles on skepticism, but seeing is believing.To get to the point,I was a skeptic for many years and I set up an appointment to see this machine run because I thought it was impossible.But I saw it with my own eyes and there were not any underground wires.There was nothing connected to the machine when it was running.I don't believe that the capacitors held enough power to run it as long as it did.Skepticism became belief.
@lanblan4 seeing it does not prove shit... Dismantle it and if you can not find the battery then it is real. But keep in mind There are clever ways to hide batteries. I once saw a man hollow out a transformer to hide batteries inside.
What you need is to install a 3 way switch for yourself (it will add to the skepticism of viewers but make your power switching much more fluid.
What you do it connect the neutrals together from the generator, the pump, and the house power, then attach the pump hot wire to the black screw, and each power source to the brass screws. When you flip the switch in changes which power feeds the pump.
@Asylumescapee69 I would also suggest adding a 3 way switch if this were to be demonstrated again, water and electricity obv very dangerous. This is even more dangerous in this rig as if there is a fault when running on mains, the mains side should cut supply in fuse box but the supply from the energy stored in the capacitors (taken from mains) could give someone a nasty shock. Removing such large capacitors would be 1st suggestion but obv it wouldn't turn after power down without them.

The only problem I see, that would make this fail, is that after extended periods of use, the mechanism will create heat, from friction, and that will eventually evaporate the water. creating the need to replenish the water. But a great idea, all the same.

This is an illusion, the energy stored is like that stored in a fly wheel, if you watch the video after the guy has disconnected the mains power the unit is seen to gradually slow down, eventually it will stop or stall. Another idea you could do to greatly increase its effecency is to use magnetic cogging instead of belts. this way youll get rid of any friction and increase useable power output. I use magnetic cogging on zero point generators and it works very very well. The magnets are quite expensive though buit are a one time investment. for 6 wheels it cost me about 600.00 for the magnets and the rest of the parts for the generator were less than 100.00 but youll need the tools as well (lathe, mill etc)

I watched an "old" (over 70) year old man run a magnet generator at a home improvement trade show. I was amazed as he stated magnets are gods gift to man and we don't use them. This thing was all mechanical, went clickty clak, clickty clak, but ran AND he had a small generator attached. He just gave it a spin and it start going. To keep the machine from overaccelerating, he HAD to have it slowed down by the pull of the generator. If he detached the generator, it immediately surged.

Let me explain it another way, think of a mechanical watch that you wind up - it seems winding it up doesn't take much energy and it will run for days/weeks - some of them months once this is done. Same concept here. The initial energy input is just large enough for a 10 minute (or more) demo.

The amount of energy used initially to run the pump and charge the cap far exceeds the 10 minutes this ran for in the claimed demo. Also think about it people, pumps and generators don't run with 100% efficiency, a lot of energy is lost as heat, then you have the resistance from turning the flywheel.
In perfect conditions, with 100% efficiency this will run indefinitely but won't produce any more power than required to keep running itself - conditions here are very far from perfect.

And one second later, immediately after "Okay, that's the revolutions I should need, right there", the audio is also spliced. He ran the machine in the middle of his garage for about 10 minutes.There was no outside current, nor any hidden wires connecting to the generator.There were a half dozen people there at the demonstration and we all saw the same thing. This was no stage prop nor was this a scam - it worked. Skeptics have no clue as to just how much work this guy has completed on his generator.

He should install a switch from live current to the self-propelled current of the machine. It would make start-up easier. I built on of these for my 10th grade science fair. It ran for 3 days before it stopped. It's not FOREVER, but it used 91% less outside energy than a bulb on it's own, and only during start-up did it need outside power. This is not very innovative, but if you can build one that last forever (or at least a long time) you are far ahead of me, who has no plans for this project.

@ ibrihamalsam, et al. re: wheels appear to be going backwards....they are not. This is a phenomenon known as stroboscopic effect (may as well something useful from this post!). I first learned of it when I was 4 or 5 watching a record player – it had spots on the turning deck that appeared stationary at a certain speed. There were 4 rows of differently spaced spots for different RPMs. TV car ads show the wheels as stopped or going backwards as the car is moving for a cool controlled look.

Here is a simplification... think of the capacitors as a rubber ball... 5 feet off the ground...and fully charged ( thanks to being plugged in ) when the power is pulled, the ball is dropped..... it hits the floor, and is recharged ( ie the cap charge powers the water pump to move the turbine wheel and generator, which recharges the caps and provides more power )...so good so far.... But on the next bounce...ball doesn't go so high... next bounce...ball is even lower...soon.. no bounce, no power

Yeah I've seen a couple whilst pissing away an evening. Can't remember how I came across this one but there were constant fights between this guy LiamXiao or something and Ianblan4 which made for humorous reading so I just sort of join in from time to time. There is a more efficient way of doing this-- take the motor from the powerful water pump, make a contraption of flywheels with combinations of pulleys to turn the generator shaft. @jmsapinoso nap, flywheels increase losses through bearing losses and air resistance. Flywheels are just another energy storing device. Capacitors electrically store energy E=1/2*C*sq(V), flywheels store energy mechanically E=1/2*J*sq(omega) where J is polar moment of inertia and omega is rotational speed. The is no where near efficient, this is powering a pump of a cap, the same performance would occur if you removed the water wheel completely and wired the motor straight to the caps.

I found this video in accident and couldn't believe that people actually thought that this was true. He is some of their design logic: Pump 70% efficient. Paddle wheel system 20% efficient Generator 90% efficient.
Total efficiency = 70 + 20 +90 = 180%, therefore over unity = free energy.

this machine spins for so long after the external power source is removed as there are large capacitors in the system which store energy when attached to the external power source and release this energy once power removed. Those capacitors are massive, possibly even one farad. Normal rectifying capacitors are measured in microfarads. There is no reason for rectifying, hence capacitors in the system. It is not a hoax and believe that it is disconnected from power but far from self powering.

As I pointed out over a year ago, there are two rather large capacitors (visible at many points including at 6:50). Many others (branded as skeptics) have asked "what are the capacitors for" and there has been no response. Why?

This device loses energy through inefficient drives and the generator. When you multiply the efficiency of each device in this system the product would be in the region of 30%. Therefore there is a hidden battery or capacitor in the unit. Simple scam disguised as miracle of electrical engineering.

You would also have to eliminate electromagnetic losses which is incurred in the electrical systems. It would be possible to store energy in his system such that it can be later extracted but he would not be able to maintain the system at equilibrium and extract kinetic energy or electrical energy. Simply put the generator would slow down untill the system collapses.

The first law of thermodynamics states that energy is conserved, it is neither created nor destroyed, it can only be transfered. The machine he proclaims to have created is a perpetual motion machine, which is impossible. In order to simply have a self sustained machine you would have to neglect or eliminate heat losses produced by the pump, friction between moving parts and water resistances.

@Agui007 You realize basically all of the laws of physics says that free energy is impossible. For a theory to become a scientific law is quite an achievement. It is not something they just discuss over lunch and then reach a decision on. It takes decades and sometimes even centuries of countless tests with the goal of which litterally being to try and break the theory and prove it wrong. @nileor1 The application for this rig extend as far as a decorative water feature in the garden. This system is in fact shrouded in losses. This machine runs on power stored in the capacitors once main power is cut, much like a battery which is charged from the mains. If in the video, the operator were to stop the paddle rotor from spinning hence stopping the generator, the pump would still continue to run as electrical supply will continue to run from the capacitor.

What you need is to install a 3 way switch for yourself (it will add to the skepticism of viewers but make your power switching much more fluid.
What you do it connect the neutrals together from the generator, the pump, and the house power, then attach the pump hot wire to the black screw, and each power source to the brass screws. When you flip the switch in changes which power feeds the pump.

This is even more dangerous in this rig as if there is a fault when running on mains, the mains side should cut supply in fuse box but the supply from the energy stored in the capacitors (taken from mains) could give someone a nasty shock. Removing such large capacitors would be 1st suggestion but obv it wouldn't turn after power down without them.

@LiamXaoh - why do you consider people who remove all your comments idiots? They might just be simple folks who are merely ill-informed due to limited educational opportunities.
