There was a horrendous mismanagement of time which the Browns had a chance to score after a sustained drive and were down to eight seconds and without a chance for a 4th down play should have kicked a FG. The interception should not have been thrown. Then, the later decision to kick FG may have been different, and the Steelers wouldn't have been able to win without scoring again. The Browns were not put in a position to win and the Steelers were rescued.

These are a series of simulation games run by Madden with a composite Browns roster including current and past players, not including anyone drafted after 2005-6... I made the depth chart and the Steelers roster runs under Cowher with the 05-6 roster (which favors Steelers).
I usually input Roethlisberger, Bettis and some others on the Steelers' depth chart (the computer automatically selects Maddox as per the roster before Maddox was shown to the pine. (Tommy Maddox--the Browns secret weapon in reality). Roethlisberger never does that well anyway. Same proclivity for eluding sacks, but throws all kinds of picks. This was just a test run-- You'll see BR in next installment.
