i dont know why people are so against Photoshop retouching because obviously the magazines wants to present models as eye candies to its readers. And at the end of the day people will be judged or treated by how you look in real life not by how you look or looked in a particular magazine.
This is humor I am not used to see in ads but I don't think people would react negatively to your tv spot. If anything they should consider this as an evidence that today's photography has changed so much that what we see in magazines and on tv is WAAAAAY off reality.
I'm sorry you don't like our video. It's a statement about how much images are photoshopped now (especially in fashion photography) and how much can be accomplished in post production. The actor was very happy to star in the spot.
I think it would have had better impact if the actual magazine that she was showing us in the video was actually a photoshopped version of her-
much skinnier etc- but in a way that we would be able to identify her easier..
(with bangs, teeth structure, eye color)-
the magazine she holds looks nothing at all like her-
so there is some confusion..
