How about insomnia,anxiety and depression? I've got em all but self medicating seems to be a lot easier than going through all that legal paperwork,finding that one and only open minded doctor out there to sign papers for me skeptically.

@DopeBass A patient should be approved for both insomnia and asthma. Cannabis is an excellent sleep aid and cannabis is a known bronchodilator.

@DopeBass - yes, Cannabis may help those ailments. Everybody is different, so research cannabis sativa and cannabis indica to see for yourself which might be best for you. then go to a trusted source in your community and get second opinion(s) before going to a Doctor. No matter what, start slow with any Cannabis treatment/usage (vaporize/edibles are healthiest). Remember, cannabis cannot kill you, but if used incorrectly or abused, it will not have the positive therapeutic benefits it should

@DopeBass yea they could being a fed approved myself going thru the process that would fall under cat 2 and all things have to be back up by specialist not only family drs thats what i know for your question hope it helps

@DopeBass Technically, but it's unlikely. The named conditions for which marijuana use can be recommended in Canada are MS, spinal injuries/disease, cancer, HIV/AIDS, severe arthritis, and epilepsy. Doctors can recommend you as well if you have a debilitating symptom from a condition not named above for which conventional treatment has not worked, but given how serious that list is, I very strongly doubt they'd recommend you for bad asthma or insomnia.

@DopeBass i dont see how it could help asthma, seeing how you are taking smoke into your lungs. you should definitely be able to get it for insomnia though

@DopeBass cannabis is widely perscribed for insomnia but i havent heard of any cases or see the medical purpose if cannabis for treating asthma, i can understand the pains of an asthma attack but as a medical marijuana patient with asthma i know my doctor strongly advised using marijuana to manage my anxiety/depression/insomnia because of me being medically diagnosed with asthma
