I live in Alabama and this is an every day thing for us during tornado season. This is how it looks when the tornado "jumps" and hits somewhere else. We live 20 miles from Tusculoosa and we saw this type of cloud go over my house and hit in a neighboring county. Not fake at all!

It was probably the king of the clouds hanging over your house. The Cumulonimbus Incus (try saying that three times in a row) or in normal language, an anvil cloud. Hail storms are typical for these clouds.

Nice little disorganized LP Supercell, i take it, there was isolated supercells embedded in front of a broken squall line., I also notice a partial slow rotating wall

cloud, apparentley this storm didn't have the instability to turn over a tornado, so you were lucky, especially knowing there was a high amount of wind shear in the Mammatus Clouds on the under side of the Cumulaonimbus Anvil

its called a "Cumulonimbus" cloud and they are thunderstorm clouds that form if "cumulus" clouds continue to grow vertically.
