im looking to put some red LED lights, Halo Eyes, and projector HIDS on my 2006 GSXR 1000. How do you get the Wheel glow effect. with out showing the LED strips them selfs? Really like this man.

well i cut out the letters on an old piece i had from when someone hit my bike. it turned out great so im gonna start the real deal today on the parts on the bike.

ANOTHER QUESTION... HOW DID YOU GET THE PLEXIGLASS TO STAY WITHOUT SCREWS??

It was cut out using a razor knife and a dremel tool.

Bike looks Great man! Nice video, shows all the angles. How did he get the led's to "glow" through the SUZUKI and the 1000??

I'm assuming here...use of plexi glass? Use the logo as a template cut out the letters on the fairing and stick a piece of plexi to the back. Sand the back to get the iced effect. Similar to what is used in PC cases. My question though is it's so smooth.

That's exactly how it's done except there was no sanding. Somehow, that "iced effect" wasn't planned but it still turned out looking fine, IMO. The plexiglass was dark blue but since the LED lights behind it was so close (and bright) it made the blue lighter when lit up. There is a custom made cover behind the faring that houses the LED's and probably 40 LED's to give it that "smoothness" without being too blotchy. In the day time it looks like it still has the dark blue SUZUKI stickers on it.

One other note...the blue plexiglass wasn't clear...it was the "smoked blue" kiind.

Thanks to all the guys that take the time to leave a positive post! I uploaded this video to allow people to look at something they "may" have never seen done before on a bike. I know I've never seen the word SUZUKI lit up before anywhere. My buddy that actually owns the bike could care less if the video is on the internet.
