As years pass, we are working more towards diversity. The church story is perfect. My friend got beat up in school for the same reason. Marriage is a personal belief, I believe it should be extended to all peoples, regardless of sexual orientation. I hope that one day, we stop looking at "god" for answers, and start beleiveing in human potential and diversity. And you have no right to limit marriage to that of a straight one. Defininitons have been changed before.
You don't know your history, do you? You need to bone up! Otherwise, you'll consider spouting your bigoted, biased, ungrounded opinions. And goodness knows there's enough stupidity being spouted in this world already. So a little less would be a welcome respite.
if you Go to Wikipedia and type in Baker v. Nelson, The case will show you that the same court in Loving v Virginia not only distinguished same sex marriage from interracial marriage, but established it as a right that does not exist under the constitution and never did. the california judges new it did not violate the equal protection clause but they created the right out of existence anyways.
so the 14th amendment does not confer a RIGHT to gay marriage anymore than it does for polygamy
What? Ignoring your history books again! All through the 20th century, state governments and federal government defined and redefined marriage! Fortunately for hundreds of thousands of mixed-race couples, the government DID redefine marriage! Governments and courts have ruled on marriage contracts, divorce rights, child custody. The legal framework of marriage today is vastly different from what it was in 1909. Your credibility rating is in a freefall.
Governement has no business redefining marriage. The government works for the people who own the constitution. They have the right to referendum. The fraud of this commission will be exposed.
Where in the Constitution does it say that it is owned by the people? Nowhere. The premise to your activism is founded on wresting the power from duly elected officials. The government, however, is formed by the people, for the people. I've read through your website and you appear to me to be a borderline anarchist. Nobody should trust you to defend citizens' civil rights or civic institutions. You're a public danger.
Incomprehensible. Too many typos. But I'll tell you this, whether it's the CA constitution or the US constitution, all citizens are guaranteed full and equal treatment in all civil matters! The CA Supreme ruled that it is unconstitutional to exclude same-sex couples from the institution of marriage. The Iowa Supreme Court's ruling was the same. Beautiful prose, by the way. So, all I can say to you is you're traipsing down the wrong road. Why are you trying to hurt people? What's in it for you?
Government's business is defining civil matters. Elected law-makers and doing their jobs in government is the normal course of that business. The referenda in Maine and California were organized by out-of-state groups, not by a grassroots network of citizens. Outside lobbyists set the ball rolling.
Interesting. You play victim when you're the one who initiated the attack. Sorry, that old trick just won't wash. Your web site shows just how viciously you are attacking the rights voted by a legislature. Your three driving motives are clear: 1. religious prejudice, 2. disrepect for your own state government, 3. power hungry. With slogans like "Let the people vote" you aim to strip the legislature of its authority and, ultimately, advocate mob rule, which, in turn, results in anarchy. Think!
Government should not vote on people's marriage. The CURCconspiracy has to do with fraud ,corruption and cover up in government that needs to be exposed and it will. People own the constitution. The legislature works for them.
Actually, the pop-ups on this eloquent plea for respect serve as a good reminder that some people can't think logically, don't believe in kindness or equality, won't ever overcome their fear of "the queer," and can't be trusted to treat others fairly.
The lies in these pop-ups are transparent and evident.
If you study the actions of the CURC, the pop-ups make really good sense. It expose what really went on in this travesty of commission. You always attack people. That is all you seems able to do
The facts are the same-sex couples suffer discrimination. 91 US legislators today have moved to repeal DOMA. That's 91! They see the facts. They're send you a big encouragement to switch sides. You're definitely on the losing side of WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL.
I agree with the women.

Marriage has evolved but it has always been between a man and a woman. That is the fundamental core and truth about marriage.

All the changes you mentioned expanded marriage between a man and a woman. They were not redefinition of marriage.
Gay activists want to destroy what they need the most. Thye are sabotaging themselves.
Gay nuptial is a counterfeit like a cubic zirconium. It will fade away and can never last eternally.
Once you pass on the other side, you will find out. It is just so sad.
Life on earth is the time to build an eternal foundation

When did government define marriage as not being between a man and a woman ?
theCURCconspiracy 2 years ago
It never did. No state or nation has ever passed a law eliminating marriage between male and female. What is your point?
