Winter(or Summer) Overture by Requime for a Dream

  • whats the music

  • good job......depp video

  • this is amazing... Uploaded on June 6 even...

  • That's not true. If the United States never went into WW2 then the Allied forces wouldn't have had the man power to push back the Aix forces, leading to Europe getting taken over. I'm sure it would have been a matter of time before they invaded the United States and Canada.

  • @benjimonji The Axis powers in Europe did not have the naval power to invade England hitler much more preffered to bomb the country in submission Germany and Italy did not have the type of ships we had to land people on the beach insted they would need to move to docks in London and other cities and have troops walk to the docks but in that case the British would easily be able to stop the axis because they had a more superior navy.

  • nice vid. touching

  • woahh...massacre......:)

I know. I didn't mean to be disrespectful, I was just doing it kind of for Americans though. Only because I didn't know how to make British figs.

  • Oh ok thats fine :) Still a powerfull vid though

  • so sad :(

  • Comment removed

  • THIS WAS VERY SAD:C

  • Thanks!

  • 9387 isn't thenumber of the americans that died. It is roughly the nmber of the total ESTIMATED casualties on D-Day, Brits, Cans and US all together. Around 5000 dead and other 5000 MIA, captured or wounded. But "only" 5000 dead among everyone, not 10000 of the americans alone. Wrong facts buddy.

  • Thanks!

  • ZOMGF u bassturds u forgetteds ze brits canucks polish french australian and newzealandese people out of ze deathed ones!!!111!!11!1!!!!!1!1!!!!111

  • @jrriojase they were on other beaches if he made this on omaha beach...

  • I was joking. I know him and he knows hsitory pretty well.

  • @jrriojase oh ok thanks for telling me!

  • This was back before(IMO) I had a pretty good knowledge of WW2 facts. I wanted to add a specific number but that was kinda stupid seeing as I never got the number right. :/

  • Thanks!

  • and they fought for religion

  • Who did?

  • the Americans

  • idk what you mean

  • Yup! Definately one of my better ideas!

  • good but could hav some ppl movin not just stills, otherwise cool beans :D

  • Yeah.. I'm not all that great at animation, so during production I realised I would never be able to make a decent D-day animation.. Maybe some time in the future

  • preety coll good music chocies

  • Thanks

  • nice lol you uplloaeded it on the actual day of d day nice man let us all remember the soldiers who won our freedom

  • the best I've seen since 2000 when i had my other account

  • Thanks! :)

  • i got chills watching this

  • In a good way

  • I would REALLY like to do one, but I'm afraid after trying this one that I'm just not a good enough animator to do it. Besides, I don't have the proper equipment for a serious project.

  • dude the vid is so good

  • Thanks man! Please rate and share!

  • dude i like the vid

  • Thanks! :)

  • Nice chose of music. Very good video!

  • Thanks! :)

  • do u reply to all of ur comments?

  • haha I try. :)

  • whens the video gonna come out??

but this is amazing....makes me think of saving private ryan just such amzment

  • This is the video. lol Sorry.

I really wanted to do a decent d-day film.

  • there were no women in d-day

  • Not on the beaches, but in the french resistence there were women. And the resistence cleared artillary pieces and caused trouble behind german lines for the d-day landings. So women were involved in d-day.

  • great vid much better than mine

  • Thank you! :)

  • brave men and women? today women serve in our army, but back then they didnt. women had nothin to do with d day

  • That would be correct and wrong..

I do believe it's correct that women weren't in d-day, but women DID fight during ww2, just not for the US.

  • Womens fighting in WWII weren't officialy with the american army or the British army, though the French Army did have some but their army fell quickly and turned into partisans AKA resistance fighters. The US and the UK kept women as nurses and factory producers. That's why you can see a lot of war posters saying "Keep 'em Flying Miss USA" and others of the kind. So if you count french oartisans as fighters in D-Day,then yes, women fought in D-Day.

  • Well I think pretty much every country used women as factory workers and nurses. And I'm aware that the French had women in the resistence. But you're right because when you think about it what the resistence did helped make d-day possable. And since women were in the resistence then women helped in d-day.

  • 1:33 - He is deading and smile!!! LOOOOOOOL

  • Lego heads for you. haha

  • very honorable dude. nice work man. 5 stars

  • Thanks! I'm glad you liked it!

  • They go to die, but three words "keep smiley soldier" haha xD

  • 2:08 why he have a smiley face ?? I'm joke thats a legoman he always keep smiley xD

  • lol Yah. I need some new heads.

  • if i was at omaha,...I WOULD GET MY M1GARAND AND RIFLE THE CRAP OUT OF THE GERMANS.When I pass the turrets i would get my M1A1 THOMPSON AND SUBMACHINEGUN THEIR GUTS OUT .Leftovers I would FLAMETHROW.Any pussies who survived,Iwould rocket the place...Sorry if your german this means no harm except to those who were at D-DAY.

  • yea but what if u didnt make it to the artillary? and got gund down like that guy in SPR with the gut all over the place?

  • Thousands of brave soldiers died on Omaha beach. Even though I think we've all said we'd charge out and mow down the Germans, I think most of us would have been hiding behind a hedgehog wishing for it to be over.

  • exactly! id just hide behind a hedgong mine and dig a fox hole, and i wuld with i was in the back ofe the boat

  • That would be most of us. Few are the ones that stare death in the face and laugh.

  • Mortar fire would kill you.

Besides, ifeveryone thought the same, the invasion would've failed.

  • As much I can understand what you mean, the Germans were fighting for their country the same as the Allies. Do you think it was fair that the Germans execuated ~80 US soldiers during the Battle of the Bulge?

  • 87, unarmed and walking in the streets. The Malmedy Massacre; a reporter from the LIFE magazine found them buried under the snow, one, then another, and another... SS troops didn't want anything stopping them.

  • I was watching a documentary and they said the reason they execuated them was because they were running out of supplies and didn't want to bring prisoners with them. So it really wasn't out of rath.(Not that I'm justifing what they did. Cause it was still wrong)

  • If i was on omaha beach i wood have crapt my pants!

  • I know! And all the soldiers volunteered!

They willingly fought and thousands lost theirs lives for no reward other then freedom so someone else, somewhere in the world would live to see theirs kids grow up. That's heroic.

  • lol 0:52

  • It was supposed to be a brick-made potato masher grenade. Luckily now I have brickarms grenades. :)

  • i cried i littlebit:(

  • When you really think about what they went through and think about them seeing their friends die right next to them and not being able to do anything you get that these guys went through that for us. So we could live the way we do.

  • what about british and canadians?they did die asell as americans!british and canadians were in the war!!

  • Oh sorry. In the video I was looking at the Americans, but you're right. Canadians, British, French Resistance, and Free Polish forces all played parts in WW2, and should never be left out.

  • those were very brave men..

  • Yes they were.

  • I was originally going to make it an actual film, with voices and everything.

But sadly I ended up not making it a film.

I am just saying thanks to the people who were going to do voice work.

  • wow great good job:)

  • Thanks for your comment! :)

  • I really like this one!!

  • Thanks! :)

  • jst a hint soldiers dont fight for friends and family ...but for the soldiers next to you they are your only family out there

  • They leave to fight for their friends and family, they stay and fight for their comrades.
